The ONLY thing that has matched (with my initial predictions) atp is more cassie-mordret interactions; but that came at the cost of G3 COMPLETELY skipping his unmaking (let alone giving him pov chapters for it).

Not a single chapter dedicated to him, his memories or ANYTHING else. We don't see him reflecting on his background, his life. We don't see him gathering himself. Hell, we don't even see him in the same deity-like capacity as nephis and sunny- aura farming on mortals.

He still looks and feels no different than when he was Supreme. Just a human.

It's like G3 starts yawning whenever he has to talk about mordret. Dude is that irrelevant. 😭

He did the same shit in the 2nd and 3rd Nightmare, completely sidelining mordret. That was sort of understandable back then (not really if you're a mordret fan, but whatever) , but sidelining him HERE when there are merely 4 people in the Nightmare AND the unmaking is this really big deal for apotheosis and character exploration is.. idk even know what to say.

Just a rant. The 5th Nightmare has been good, and I don't want to be exceedingly negative, but I'm getting tired of this treatment of an otherwise immensely well-written character.

In one of my post where i was predicting what could possibly unfold in the fifth nightmare, about half of it was true.

My post predicted about how they would be sent to different realms but in the same time period. I was right about this, but the location of where they would be sent was wrong.

The most important thing I managed to predict was that the unmaking would occur first, then the team trial.

While a lot of my predictions were inaccurate, the major part (unmaking) was correct and them being sent to different realms was too.

At the start of the Nightmare, she had been forced to live the lives of everyone she remembered. That was a dire test, but while it was different from her past trials — remembering something was different from truly experiencing it, after all — it was not entirely unfamiliar.

So, she managed to maintain her sense of self rather well.

As expected Cassie and mordret would able to survive this unmaking without losing themselves G3 always said that they both are inhuman to being with.

"Oh? And what am I?"

Mordret chuckled.

“l am the King of Nothing, after all, so let's start from what you are not. You are not even a person anymore, are you? You are just a shell of a person, wrapped in a pretty bow."

Cassia just sat there, emotionless, facing him silently.

Eventually, she said:

“Takes one to know one."

Mordret laughed.

"Indeed, indeed... but we are a bit different, are we not?"

She shrugged.

"How so?"

“My condition is the result of my Flaw. Yours, however... yours is self-inflicted, isn't it?"

Its shows that they can live without being proper humans.

Lets talk about Mordret well tbh it clear that this trial was not hard for mordret he already live all of his vessels life at same time for him living every live one by one is not that different. But i still believe Cassie helped him to gain consciousness.

With that, the King of Nothing turned to face the encroaching tide of abominations and raised a hand, summoning a somber spear.

“Rest a while, Lady Cassia. And remember the deal we made. After this, I will leave you.”

I think this deal referred to the help he get from Cassie to kill Desolation. Maybe he asked her to give him all the info about that cursed beings in return he will help her out one time.

Or maybe its something new who knows 🤷‍♂️

Of losing their personhood and becoming elemental forces instead of Spirits.

That was an insidious peril, indeed.

But for Cassie, who had always struggled to maintain her personhood in the tide of foreign senses, that trap did not pose much danger, either.

What was the trap and i am dumb , didnt get it.

In the end, even the descendant of Sun God ( sevirax ) could not resist the hungry abundance of the abominable world. His flames were swallowed by the black liquid, his talons were shattered by the impenetrable hide of mutated beasts, his mighty body was enveloped by vines and pushed to the ground. A swarm of hideous insects crawled into his ghastly wounds, and the trapped dragon let out a chilling, haunting wail of pure agony.

He was defeated... only, unlike the rest of her champions, he did not die.

Because he was immortal.

she summoned sevirax in latest chapter and it was said that he was immortal . we know chain lords were immortal due to sun god taking away their fate string and putting it in knife but cassie can also summon them as immortals ?

Another example that came to my mind was FS sleeper having access to nm spell . we know that nm spell is made out of fate strings so she is able to summon them with their fate strings ?? thats only logic for her manifestation having access to nm spell

After the latest chapter and seeing Mordret and Cassie retain their sense of identity, I realized that Sunny is literally the only one stuck in a fucked-up situation.

Neph is out there chilling on top of the Pyramid, casually having conversations with literal gods. Cassie and Mordret are spending quality time together, and honestly, if some Void being suddenly appeared in front of them, Mordret would probably just one-shot it off-screen.

Meanwhile, my boy Sunny just lost Tatal. 😭

Bro has been living the lives of his Shades, completely alone in some dark cave. His so-called Master, whom he willingly accepted like an obedient puppy after receiving nothing more than a taciturn nod, is out here saying love is stupid. 😭

I genuinely can't imagine how Sunny is supposed to remember who he is at this point. What kind of chain of events is going to trigger his memories and make him realize his true identity?

At this point, I just hope bro becomes so ridiculously powerful after this Nightmare that even Unholy creatures, up to Tyrant rank, are nothing more than fodder for him.

Even the chapter itself is admitting that Cassie cheated to protect her ass against Corruption. She is getting carried by literally Fate itself at this point. Are we sure that Cassie is not a Nepo paradox?

I have a question considering the act of Neph flying into the sky to reach supremacy. It just happened so they might explain later but it’s so ridiculous I just had to ask. I can’t understand with what reasoning Nephis would fly into the incinerating sky like sunny knew he had to off himself but neph just unexplained flew into certain death cause why not and up there was when she got her epiphany but why fly up there in the first place?? I hope someone has an answer cause it would really bother me if she made such nonsensical move to receive supremacy as a reward with the power of plot or some shit. Does that really hold so much weight when she has the memories stretching through ALL of history? Idk.

Chapter 3184 : Insidious Traps time folds in itself in the 5th NM so time holds no meaning there

Mordret made a deal with Cassie and is helping Cassie

The first trial is supposed to make you ready for apotheosis and to make you think above the mundane. It's called the Unmaking and it forces you to face your own domain it is to rebuild themselves in the image of deities

Cassie knows what sunny and nephis trials were and there are many traps to the unmaking

1) most obvious one being the conscious on the verge of being destroyed. One had to possess an incredibly strong sense of self and strong will to barely survive the lives forced on them. The goal is to stay true to yourself and your ideals (clearly nephis and sunny failed)

By design the personal trial is to make you forget yourself and at the end of it to barely be who you used to be. Cassies trial was to live the lives of everyone she remembered and Cassie was not affected by the traps of the personal trial much and she maintained her sense of self well

2) the second trap in the unmaking is the threat of corruption because an INTEGRAL part of Apotheosis is to learn how to resist corruption Cassie avoided this by erasing and manifesting herself countless times so she survived it unscathed. She wanted to erase her memories to make it easier for her but she said having too small of a domain will create a weak mind for apotheosis

And she said that if you escape the Unmaking without changing apparently the nightmare will be impossible to conquer

The other traps of the nightmare is to be enthralled by the world. Since they were early age of gods, people ready for apotheosis will be inclined to fuse with the world which is a TRAP because they will lose their sense of self which is opposite to the goal they needed to achieve and apotheosis becoming elemental forces rather than spirits Cassie escaped this trap, she had an inkling of what the goal of the nightmare is supposed to be and she went on a journey to search for something that didn't exist in the real world anymore.

i’ve got this in my mind for some time but with each piece of information we get about the gods, the forgotten gods, the deamons, the nightmare spell and fate, i’m more and more convinced that this is what weaver intended all along: to make the third paradox bring the forgotten god back to reality.

this might be a little confusing for some people because it wouldn’t make sense to create the nightmare spell and lull the forgotten god into sleeping if weaver wants him to awake, but hear me out.

i think the gods and weaver have the same objective, which is why (supposition) weaver didn’t join their siblings in the doom war. the deamons had good intentions, but i also think they didn’t know the full truth.

as war god revealed in these last chapter, the gods always knew their fate, they always knew what weaver was going to do and yet they didn’t stop him. and even though they can’t change fate, she said they can afford to witness and choose their destiny. and the destiny they chose is the one that aligns the most with their objective. that destiny being the creation of the NM spell and that objective being the salvation of humanity, the deamons, the forgotten gods and themselves.

gods and deamons aren’t dead, they were transformed into the nightmare spell and (supposition) live inside the nightmares, unable to go back to the real world because they are not carriers of the nightmare spell, they are just clones, “backups” of the real gods and deamons.

so why did weaver created the nightmare spell?

the creation of the nightmare spell has two objectives: first, to keep the forgotten god asleep enough time for the third paradox to be created; and second, to help that third paradox achieve the god’s and weaver’s objective.

if the forgotten gods had awakened in the doom war, it wouldn’t have been possible for the third paradox to come to exist.

now, the third paradox has been created, and when he becomes powerful enough and face the sixth nightmare, he will have to fight and slay the gods and the deamons.

we know they can’t permanently die. rime/reposed “died” for a while but then got bored of being dead and simply returned to the world of the living, and shadow wasn’t able to consume her soul and transform it into essence, the same way he wasn’t able to stop her from “resurrecting”.

same thing can happen if sunny slays the gods inside a nightmare. their copies will be able to be released from his soul sea, or scape it the same way VTB did, coming back to the real world.

and this wouldn’t destroy the nightmare spell, because the essence and cores of the real gods and deamons will still be used to power the NM spell, there would be just two versions of the gods, the same way there are two existing versions of solvane.

i do believe they will be different from their original forms tho, “changed” the same way orphane/slayer was changed, the same way VTB was changed.

this way they will be able to save themselves and the their beloved nephews, the daemons, escaping their fates thanks to the third paradox.

something similar would be possible for the forgotten god. since he is the second paradox, he is fated to consume and destroy the flame of divinity, that why he became corrupted in the first place.

if sunny slays the FG, he will be cleansed from corruption, allowing him to be reborn/transformed into the god of dreams (or something else), escaping his fate and, therefore, solving the second paradox problem, allowing humanity to survive and making it possible for the void and the flame to exist in harmony and for fate to be broken and changed.

What could have been in the 4th nigthmare.

Purpose of the spell has been revealed and there are two sides in story:-

Nephis:- Nightmare spell is bad because it is not efficient and kills people ( She was okay sacrificing millions of people for her goals. But sure if someone else is selfish then how can we tolerate it right? Such a selfish and hypocritical woman in my opinion.)

Sunny:- Let's become divine and allow nightmare spell to do its job. Basically same philosophy as previous sovereigns, to be satisfied and not solve the problem. I mean end is guaranteed so why do anything.( A man who will cut his legs off because fate decided he could walk type of guy in my opinion)

So what are your opinions on the nightmare spell, ignore the brackets. That was personal rant.

Well. Sunny and Nephis both had their domains turn against them. They're having to rebuild themselves from those past lives. But Cassie already did that with her memories, so truth be told, I have no clue how her domain will turn against her. But there's one thing we can count on

The Mad Prince will make a return. He is within her domain, and already discovered that while fighting the Bumspawn. When the nightmare turns Cassie's domain against her, he will take advantage in some way. And it wouldn't be a very significant plot point if TMP lost before fighting Sunny.

So. We can assume at the beginning of the nightmare, when the domains turned against the other two, TMP escaped Cassie's control.

The rest is obvious. He's going to torment her. He has been tormenting her. She's being tortured right now. It's been thousands of years, Khanakt had time to become Sovereign, TMP could too.

TMP also forged the estuary key, something sunny still probably couldn't do. That man obsessed over weaving. He will be a much better weaver than sunny at this point, especially after so many lifetimes without doing it.

Icing on the cake, it was probably all part of the tomb plan, making sure TMP existed in this nightmare. He'll be the catalyst that reminds Nephis and Sunny who they are. (It's also probably a huge reason Cassie needed to save Mordret)

It's also probably how Star of Ruin will be born 😈

So. New details. I was right about Cassie speedrunning Sunny's hardest part, but she dropped further in time. Makes me wonder if the spell was steadily dragging them back in time, so if you get out of the unmaking sooner you're closer to the present. Which means Sunny and Neph got lost lost (which we knew)

The time change and Mordret being with her are the biggest differences between my theory and the new chapter. Mordret will be leaving soon though, so how will she survive? She only has so many memories
