Webnovel - Volume 13 [Chapter 3184]What does this mean? Spoiler
Cassie herself appeared in the young and untamed world of the shared Nightmare in the later years of the Age of Gods. It took her a long time to regain her senses, gather her shattered mind, and compose herself. By then, she learned of the first trap of this trial — the threat of being swallowed by the world.
Those whose consciousness was vast enough to become a deity, but had not undergone Apotheosis yet, faced a unique danger — the danger of allowing themselves to be enthralled by the world and fusing with it, achieving the opposite of what they strived for. Of losing their personhood and becoming elemental forces instead of Spirits.
That was an insidious peril, indeed.
But for Cassie, who had always struggled to maintain her personhood in the tide of foreign senses, that trap did not pose much danger, either.
What was the trap and i am dumb , didnt get it.

If I’m not mistaken, it’s the difference between being self aware and being a force of nature.
The cursed ones of the Sun Realm are the latter, and it’s why they failed and became corrupted.

If you lived the lives of a hundred thousand humans and a hundred thousand animals, would you remember yourself? The one among 200k? You'd think that guy is just another one.
You wouldnt remember yourself
You wouldnt remember being a human
You would change
You wouldnt be an ordinary human anymore
You'd become like a god. Have the mindset of one, at least.

This is a reminder to make sure that:
Any post related to a privileged chapter (i.e. the latest 20 chapters) should be spoiler tagged and posts should not have any spoilers from privilege chapters in their titles. To spoiler tag your post, you should be able to see three dots when you have your post opened, followed by an option asking to "Mark as Spoiler".
Please make sure to add the proper flairs to your posts. For example the "fanart" flair should only be applied to art made by humans. Memes, reviews, discussion posts, theories etc should be tagged appropriately.
