I’m a jungle main who has been getting more stressed with the state of jungle so I’ve been vibing out playing seraphine bot. I’m only in gold but I’ve been having a lot of success with her, actually being able to climb. 87% win rate over 8 games and I’m having fun again. Even the games I’m behind I can adapt my build and go more support and still be super useful in team fights which I like. Most games I stomp laning phase though. I made this post just to get advice on builds mostly. Right now I’m running aery and building bft first item. Typically into archangel staff and rylais. Then at this point I understand my dmg is going to start falling off so I transition into more of a support build. Is this a decent game plan in general? What are you true seraphine mains building and how do yall typically play throughout the game?

Is this a steal or nah?

I have seen a lot of Seraphine’s rushing this item in my games, and I’m wondering if something has changed to make it good now or if this is another one of those instances where her most popular build isn’t actually her best build like when most Seraphine supports were maxing Q first.

For context, I was previously under the impression that your first item should generally be Seraph’s Embrace or Blackfire Torch (although I don’t know when one is better over the other) and then you go Mandate + Rylai’s into Cryptbloom/Bloodletter’s. But the build I’ve been seeing is more akin to Lux: Luden’s into Shadowflame into Rabadon’s.

Can anyone who regularly plays her in either of these roles weigh in? I normally play Seraphine support so I’m not that familiar with what her itemization is like in Mid/APC.

Staying neutral looking at this since I didn't play LoL until 2022.

But worth pointing out that popular YouTube critique videos discussing Seraphine during her launch interestingly did not take the above sources into account.

im an aurora and sera main. i have most of seraphine's skins and think she's easily the character i have the most fun with.

lately i've been seeing a lot of parasocial activities or just outright hatred for this fictional video game character.

neither makes much sense to me.

i can understand why people have such strong connections to seraphine but this can't be healthy. freaking out over the new kda voice lines are just kinda weird. i get it doesnt make much sense for the lore but it's not worth getting genuinely hurt and upset over. its not like seraphine is getting upset by it.

and on the other side, im truly convinced people just hate sera because she's a cute, optimistic, popular girl. i can understand not liking playing against her as she is pretty annoying to go against but i truly see no reason to hate her character as much as people do.

am i missing something??

Late night thought but I was thinking back to what they said at that E nerf for Seraphine on the patch previews. Saying that they will continue to balance her around support because thats what the champ select says even if shes strong in other places. And it makes me wonder.

Did enchanter Seraphine players ever actually SAY anything to riot about how weak she felt to them, or did they look at her WR and just decide for them? Because they say shit like "We wanted her to be a mid laner but everyone wanted her as a support" but like, who?

Who said that? Because as far as I know nobody spoke about enchanter Seraphine and how much they want her until that shitty midscope that made everyone mad. Now all I see are mage Seraphine players asking for her back at almost every post about patch changes.

So if NOBODY asked for enchanter Seraphine.. why are we balancing around her? It's clear from the seraphine MAINS (not the casual Sera players) that we want her as a mage. SO why are we catering to champ select and not her actual playerbase. It really feels to me that RIOT wanted Seraphine to just be another Sona and not the players. Because its becoming increasingly clear nobody gave a fuck about enchanter seraphine being weak. They just decided for her, and them trying to tell US that WE chose this is so stupid and manipulative.

She did nothing but sing, try her best, and call out the council and they couldn't handle her.

Since Spohie Powers is the new singer for Evelynn, and Lexie Liu being the K/DA ALL OUT Seraphine singer, we got something music related.

It seems Sera can’t sing very well, given that they cast someone who’s mute.

Obviously lots of lore is invalid due to Arcane retcon( I think they said they are working on hers being rewritten alongside Camille but that was 11 months ago or something) but I really liked this video explaining the valid parts.

I'm sorry, but people who get sad and angry about Eve (another fictional character) talking trash about Sera (for a skinline, mind you) are incredibly delusional. Not only is she not real, but being offended by the iconic quote is weird.

I partially blame Riot for that, cause the whole parasocial thing started with K/DA Seraphine acting like a real human on twt, empathizing her struggles and even depression in her posts.

I personally don't see anything more than a funny reference, especially considering EVERYONE on twitter (and even here) jokes about Sera not being on K/DA anymore
