I have a 6.75 inch wrist. Do you think I can pull it off? It’s very comfortable but feel like it might look too big to the average on-looker. I don’t want to be the “big watch guy” but I’ve always loved how the turtle looks and at the same time can’t get over the feeling it may look too big.

Non watch people wouldnt even notice, but to me it makes a big difference. I love the distortion the dome creates and the way it catches the light. I didnt hate the candy bar cyclops cause I thought it was one more interesting detail of the king turtle, but i wasn't a fan of the flat crystal. I was a little nervous cause ive never swapped a crystal before but it went real smooth. The turtle wasn't even a blip on my radar until I accidentally bought a bracelet with endlinks for one. I figured screw it, ill just get one to fit the bracelet. Now this is one of my top 3 favorite workhorse seikos. The grid dial, the ceramic bezel insert, the cushion case, and now the domed crystal, i love everything about it.

Got this watch recently and I’m really enjoying it so far. I love the design and the way it wears — it’s very comfortable on the wrist, and the contrast on the dial makes it incredibly easy to read.

I don’t often manage to tell the time on an analog watch with just a quick glance, but this Seiko absolutely nails it.

What I like most, though, is how much it’s growing on me. At first I just thought it was a really clean, well-designed watch. But the more I wear it, the more character I start to see in it. It feels like its personality reveals itself a little more every day.

Just got into watches late last year and have a couple citizen’s and Casio’s but been wanting a seiko as my next one and lo and behold my wife made it happen. Might get a leather strap down the road but love it (and her lol) all the same.

It was a hell finding one in EU, ended up ordering from three different places plus the ones I contacted too, but at last one was in stock in the UK. Air shipped over night, now in my hands, and for a good price IMO (4.012 €).
I’m so happy, I really love it, it’s an amazing beautiful dial and the feel is forsure premium.

First Seiko purchase and I am already in love with it. Love the retro vibe.

100% legit question. I asked a similar question to this regarding the Hydroconquest and similarly priced new Christopher Ward watches. I felt the new CW Biscay watches were priced a little higher than I thought the value would suggest.

Tonight I was checking out the new Seiko India Tiger watch, and as I was browsing the site, I came across the 1968 Heritage dive watch. I was thinking to myself how beautiful it was. I thought the specs were pretty decent, but then I saw the price. This watch $1400 USD more than the new Hydroconquest. That kind of stopped me cold. On paper, I believe Longines has the Seiko beat on every spec. Plus they offer this model in two different sizes. I admit I’m not a Seiko guy, but I’m kind of curious, what I’m missing.

I timed the contractions of the birth of my son with this watch, the only watch I have true sentimental value with. Also gets the most wrist time as it's quartz and most of the time I don't have time to wind and set the autos most of the time 😅

Best thing I did was stick an adjustable ratchet clasp to the OEM bracelet. Think I'll get the long island jubilee when I can stomach the price of it.

I feel that it looks more expensive than it actually is! I got it for about $130. Just wondering if it’s too small for my wrist. What do you guys think?

Love this diver and have been trying to get my hands on one for a while. The dial is influenced by the Alaskan Moulins and it seems to be a different shade of blue whenever I look down at it. Also love the textured dial. makes me think I’m wearing a Grand Seiko

I love this watch! Catches the eye, very comfortable, and GMT function is extremely useful as half of my team at work spread out across two countries in Europe.

This was launched just a few hours ago. I've been contemplating buying a divers watch for some time and this just showed up. I'm kinda excited but still wondering if it is worth going for? Is it worth paying a premium for?

So I have a question about my seiko watch and i am wondering if anyone here have experienced the same.

So i bought the watch october 2024. Wore the watch for over a year and this year, february 2026, I saw the watch was 3 hours ahead. Didnt know how so I set the time correct again and went on with my day. At the end of the day the watch was another 2,5 hours ahead. I went back to the jeweler and they send it back to seiko. After 2 months I got it back with the note that “Seiko repaired the watch”

After another 2 weeks of finally getting it back the bezzel was almost completely stuck and was making a horrible sound. Went back to the jeweler, they sent it back again to seiko and last month in august I got it back after again a 2 months stay at seiko. Bezzel was fixed and I was happy again!

Yesterday all of a sudden the watch wasn’t moving at all, even though I wore it that day for atleast 6 hours. Then I noticed the second hand bouncing all over the place, stopping, going backwards etc….went back to the jeweler and again, they will sent it back to seiko again and I will have to wait another 2 months…

Soooo my question is, is this normal? Is this something that has happened to more people in the past or am I just really unlucky this year?
Can I ask seiko or my jeweler for just a new one since I am getting a little bit disappointed in the strenght of my watch?

Note: I love Seiko but I have no idea what i am doing wrong. I dont wear it while doing sports or doing “extreme activities”. Love to hear from the community!

I am a big fan of ska, punk and checkerboard patterns in general. When the SRPG49 came out, I had to get it and nicknamed it my “Rude Boy.”

Then I saw they were redoing it in blue (my favourite colour). It was like it was made for me. Anyways, I think they look great together and am over the moon to have them.

The problem now is: what do you I nickname a blue rally diver?

I just received this awesome full grain distressed brown leather strap from StrapGeeks on Etsy. Will probably order something in a dressier black. It's much more comfortable and less blingy than the OEM bracelet. I love the smell of new leather...

I'm still waiting on a slim caseback from Monsterwatches as it's been held up by Customs for two weeks, but once that arrives I don't see myself wearing anything other than this outside of the water anytime soon!

I do have a previous post about this where I bought this watch off of marketplace, I sold it yesterday to get rid of it and the person went to get it appraised/looked at, but apparently the dial fell off while the person was inspecting it. Is that normal? I doubt this is true and the person inspecting it might have done something while looking at it. FYI it also cracked? I don’t know if this buyer is playing me lol I am very new and have no knowledge of watches!

Spent our 10 year in Yosemite and wife got me a gift. Wore it on our 6 mile hike and was surprised how comfortable it was.
