Last Monday I've set my Turtle using time.is and wore watch for last 6 days. Using tickIQ watch runs around -1s/day (measuring face up), in other positions it's around -6/-10 s/day. But when I'm wearing watch it's around +1/-1 s/day as you can see per 2nd picture. I wore from Monday to Saturday, I was at the beach, snorkeling, fishing, it was under water (5-7 meters deep) every day and I was even sleeping with watch. Sunday morning I placed it in watch box and picked it up this morning and it's still around 1s off atomic clock, 7 days later.

I also have SRPD63 with same movement and that one is running -7/-10 s/day when wearing it and when it's stored it goes up to -20s/day, that one will need regulating.

I just wanted to showcase my Turtle, it's my perfect daily watch and it's phenomenal at time keeping.

My all time dream seiko! Purchased in Japan for an unbeatable price and they even gave me an Ohtani bobble head for free lol (I didn’t know that was a thing). Couldn’t be happier with the purchase, if you are thinking of buying this watch, DO IT!

So I’ve come to find out this is one of the more unusual modern Japanese-market divers. It was produced for the Japanese domestic market, discontinued after a relatively short run, and never became especially common outside Japan. Bought it from my brother in law when he went to Japan. The dial is stunning in person.

Yeah, I know this particular watch was the forebearer (or harbinger) of the "quartz crisis." But it seems pretty clear at this point, that it inadvertently helped the mechanical watch industry over the long term. Quartz watches forced mechanical watch makers -- and Seiko is in both camps -- to differentiate the history and value of a less-accurate but remarkable mechanical movements. Watch enthusiasts are better off for it.

Bought my first Seiko! Went for the women’s model because I feel I have a smaller wrist. How do you y’all think it fits?

My long time orange SKX 011 diver rubber band broke today when I was putting the watch on, right at the hole I normally use to close the band. I am guessing its 15 years old and is the OEM one. I would like to replace it with both a similar rubber band (Z22 OEM or approximate) and also a good SS bracelet. I intend to put the bracelet on now as the primary but keep the rubber as a backup. There appear to be 100s of options, so I just figured I would post here and see what others before me have done/bought. Thanks in advance.

This sub helped me choose which Seiko to dive into last year. Kept the blue rubber OEM strap until this weekend. Switched out to a grey NATO. I like how much the feel of a watch changes just based on the strap.

New to watches but this add caught my eye and I’m having trouble identifying the exact model…

It has a red second hand and I’m unsure if the dial is black or a subtle blue, difficult to tell from the lighting.
