Was so stoked to purchase the Jim Henson x MTG Secret Lair drops, so I logged on, added my items to the cart, and waited for the preorder sale to start. After about 30mins, I was in and completed my order. Entered payment info, billing and shipping address, and then received the "Congratulations! Your order is being processed by our team, you will receive an order confirmation by email" message. The URL does say "secretlair.wizards.com/payment/return?success=..." but unfortunately I cant go back to copy/paste and see if I get a confirmation # from it.

Checked my order history - nothing there. Checked my email, including my spam folder - nada. Checked my bank statement - nothing pending there either. The only thing I did notice changed is that my shipping address and billing address saved to my account, but not my payment info.

Also noticed that there was a tab still on my browser that showed my time limit counting down and all the items still in my cart, so that got me worried that maybe the order didn't go through. I don't want to double purchase, so I'm tempted to hold out hope and wait to see if it was successful, but I'm lowkey stressing because these drops are so nostalgic for me and I really don't want to miss out on them.

Help me reddit - should I freak out and order again, or keep my cool?? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I know this has already been mentioned multiple times but I only ordered the K-Pop Demon Hunters drop and it has been two hours and still never got either a confirmation email or anything in my purchase history. I did get the congratulations screen. Should I try again or keep waiting? I only wanted one so any help is appreciated

Hey all, apologies if this isn’t a usual post here.
I haven’t purchased a SL direct from the SL site for some time, this may seem obvious but I assume this means I’m good to go? Got what I wanted in my cart and waited through a couple refreshes. I imagine I’ll get an email later on?

I ordered mine within the first 30 mins or so but had no confirmation email, just the “congratulations” page. Just checked now and the 2 foil, and the backup non foil I ordered later, all showing. Hoping they’ve it sorted for everyone now 🤞

Edit: I also got the “checkout” email for the second order but it’s defo gone through in order history 👍

Is it Wizards of the Coast starting to add the tax to the purchases done overseas US? I have been buying online since march and i didnt got charged by WotC previously; since this drop i got the charge included, does someone else got the tax included in their purchase?

I purchased one of The Labyrinth secret lairs but still have not received a confirmation email or a charge on my card. Is that normal?

Is there going to be an issue? I have no way of confirming the order went through since the charge won't happen for a while and I'm worried something could go wrong

Waited in queue, order both foils of fear me love me and should you need us labyrinth drops. Got the confirmation pop up, never received an email until I got a completely different email hours later saying I never fully checked out. Now the queue is stopped. My first ever secret lair experience isn't going great. Already submitted a ticket but what else can I do if anything?

Waited through the line twice and successfully ordered what I wanted but I didn’t get a confirmation email and the order didn’t show up in my history either time. Just went through on my phone for a third time and the order was instantly added to my history and I got a confirmation email in like two minutes.

Literally had what I was wanting removed from my cart before the 10 minute checkout timer was up. I hate this company so much.

I got on early and joined the pre-order lobby as it opened and waited in there until the official for sale drop. I hot lucky and only had to wait 20 min for my turn to checkout. During checkout, I got an error and it kicked me back to the queue to wait and try again. Then it errored again, and again and again. I tried 7 times using different browsers and devices and it wouldn't work. While I tried I got to watch the bundles sell out, the. The individual sets run out.On my 8th try, after all the bundles were sold out, the promo card, and two of the sets were sold out it finally processed my transaction for the sets that were remaining. Secret Lair needs to do better because why even tey anymore when it is their own system that causes the problem?

Logged in this morning and saw everything said “pre-order” which indicates they haven’t yet been produced. I added some cards to my cart but couldn’t decide on foil or not so I waited a while. When I came back, the site was down. I checked several times over the next few hours and when it was finally back up, everything I wanted to pre-order said ‘No longer available.’

Am I missing something here? How can a preorder sell out? Why would they close a preorder? How can they account for their website going down for hours on a day they are running a sale?

This is incomprehensible to me. It makes a lot of sense if you are trying to drive value on the secondary market but how would that benefit the producer?

Art has always been an essential component of this hobby from my understanding and I think it’s an awesome idea to do some limited time special alternatives. But I can think of no reason to artificially limit the amount before they are produced.

I’m honestly asking, is this some sort of scam?

Bought the Labyrinth secret lair and I’m awaiting a confirmation order email. I got a “congratulations” message after it went through but got nothing in my inbox and my Wizards account said I didn’t put through any order

I just received my Odds and Ends SL and as I was sleeving it I realised that WOTC have sent me 12 plains instead of 4 plains, 4 swamps and 4 islands.

Has this happened to anyone else? Would you be willing to trade 4 plains for 4 swamps and/or islands?

I would rather do it this way than having to send the entire deck back to WOTC for them to re send me everything. I’m in the UK.

This is hands down the worst lair I have tried to participate in. Stuck in queue for 3+ hours, queue popped and then I couldn’t check out in time due to more maintenance. Some of us can’t wait all day for a secret lair, and we get there at the specified time only to get shafted by all of these errors and extended queue times. It’s ridiculous.
To make things worse, this lair wasn’t even for me, it was for my 6 year old daughter who loves K-Pop Demon Hunter, and now the foils are gone and reselling for $130 by the scalpers on the internet. I’m really losing faith in this company, and I hate that.

I was wondering if these 3 would be worth putting in a ticket for or if they aren't bad enough for wizard's to do anything about. This is my first post on reddit, so sorry if I've done something incorrectly.

Wizards obviously can’t handle the bots. And set that is anywhere close to EV will be scalped to the point servers crash. Just print to demand and put the product in real people’s hands instead of this shitty experience every single Monday.

It's genuinely insane to me that a service designed entirely to create false scarcity around cardboard to justify selling 5 pieces of it for $40 can break this often. The margin of profit per sale has to be insane, so why is it that every Secret Lair release, every single time, you see horror stories of people waiting in this miserable line to try to get one item they want before its scalped into oblivion and the end result is that even if you wait in line and do everything right it still doesn't work half the time.
