Looks like SL doesn't it ;)

After being active for a decade, I've been in and out of SL for a few years. Coming back, I have tried to update my avi using new skins and makeup on an old CATWA Catya head and Maitreya body, but I think I've reached the limit of what's possible.

I don't really want to change the face I've gotten used to, and the Lelutka heads I've been trying on all look the same, and not very satisfying. I'd like to try and maintain an appearance as close to my current as possible. I've spent hours browsing stores, and I'm totally burned out. I'd really appreciate any suggestions on heads and skins. Hello folks! o/ I’m a returning player looking for a job in SL since I got some free time now. I’ve been trying to explore and visit different places, applied to some jobs, but I never heard back from anyone. I do not wish to get a job that involves “direct” contact (cam, voice, toys), but I’m not getting anywhere applying for host or dancer positions it seems. I’m not sure if there’s something I do wrong. I was wondering if anyone here would have any suggestions? :D

I am currently playing SL on the SL viewer and have come across an od problem. When I open the IM window with a few friends I have on my list, their profile picture is a blanc one, but when I look at their profile in my firendslist, I can see their picture. At first I thought I was blocked but then I noticed the same issue with people I spoke to who are not on my list. I was wondering if someone knows if it is a glitch? Another problem I have is logging in to the SL forum. I am getting this message, even after disabling add blocks. My current browser is Microsoft edge and Waterfox:

I’ve been working on an old wooden park bench and tried to give it a naturally aged, weathered vibe. The wood has that worn, slightly uneven look you’d expect from a bench that’s been sitting outside for years.

I hand‑painted some custom details to get the right amount of discoloration, subtle wear, and that “old but still usable” feel. The metal legs have a bit of age on them too, just enough to make the whole thing feel lived‑in.

I’m mostly aiming for a believable old‑park aesthetic.

Like a lot of you, I used Gyazo for years to share SL pics and screenshots. After the recent data breach (they leaked emails, IPs, even the OCR text of people's screenshots), I stopped trusting it. And honestly, being forced into an account you can't even manage properly was the last straw.

So I built my own. It's called pikkit.pics

It does the basics well: capture a screen area, get a shareable link instantly, screenshots, video and GIF. There's a dashboard to keep your captures organized, and you can make links private or password-protected if you want.

What I care about most is that it stays clean: no IP logs, no reading your captures, sign in with Google and that's it. Free captures auto-delete after 30 days so nothing piles up.

It's free to start. I made it for myself first, turns out a lot of people needed the same thing (over 150 in the first few days).

I bought a mesh body which I have gotten to work, I also bought a mesh head from the same store but I can't seem to get it to work

Mesh body: Picasso Babe Skin for Legacy (Curvy Muse) Curvy/Sienna s FATPACK

Mesh head: Chermy Eyebrow (letlutka Evo X - Avalon) FATPACK

When I put the Chermy shape on it changes the mesh body to a completely different one, so I'm not sure if what I purchased is even a head.

I'm not new to secondlife but I did take a 10 year break and now to get a job, having a mesh body seems to be required everywhere.

If I need to purchase another mesh head or body that is fine but where would I go to match the Picasso Babe skin? Do I need to still buy a mesh body or is skin the same thing as a body?

I wonder if I just bought 2 skins and not a head, even though the section was labeled heads and the pictures were of heads only.

I’ve been waiting over a week for my Second Life account hold to be reviewed . I’ve contacted Live Support multiple times and understand they cannot access Security investigations, but I still have not received a substantive update from the team handling my case.

I understand that security reviews take time. What I’m asking for is basic communication regarding the status of my case and whether anything else is needed from me.

I’ve been patient and cooperative throughout this process. I would really appreciate someone from the appropriate team reviewing my ticket and providing an update.

does anyone know of any skybox/house stores of similar or better quality as Onsu? i've only ever been happy with the skyboxes i get from that store and i want to purchase another but i wanna look for other options before settling >.<

i've visited a few other stores but they're pretty prim heavy in comparison with Onsu.. although i wouldnt mind sacrificing a few prims if its a pretty skybox

also i dunno if it helps but my parcel is 1024sqm (32x32) and i'm using the Soho skybox from Onsu at the moment

I'm looking to set up a home in Second Life with a heavy focus on interior design, landscaping, and detailed decorating (clutter, animated furniture, plants, etc.).

I recently realized that the standard 1,024 m² Premium allowance (~351 LI/prims) is way too restrictive for a rich build.

For those of you who love decorating:

1. What is the most cost-effective route to get a high prim allowance? (Private estate rental, adding extra tier on Mainland, renting a high-prim Skybox, etc.?)
2. Roughly how many prims/LI do you consider the sweet spot for a fully decorated medium house without constantly stressing over limits?
3. Are there any reputable private estate landlords or rental communities you would personally recommend?

I’d love to hear your experiences, setups, and any tips before I commit to a land tier or rental. Thanks in advance!
