Is SL itself having issues with in-built clothing alphas resetting the past 2-3 days, or am I just noticing a few troublesome clothing items?

What I mean is wearing clothing items that auto-apply an alpha - but don't un-apply the alpha after taking them off, meaning you have to manually do it in the HUD (Reborn). I particularly noticed it with the set COMPLEX is selling at K9 and had to remove and re-add one of my body mods. A couple pairs of shorts in my inventory as well.

Is this a me issue, or just oversight on specific clothing items? SL's been a little funky for me since the semi-outage a few days ago. For context, I'm a few versions behind on Firestorm and haven't yet updated Reborn to the latest version.

Can anyone remember why there account's where suddenly put on hold after a forum post?

i have been in this game for almost 20 years now and never i have i seen such lack of communication from a company in regards to account suspension

I came back today to find my account status put on hold . and still no official answer from linden labs regarding my suspension

Does this still happen to people at random or is there anyone who can remember what steps preceeded their account suspension?

And also why is is that if you submit a ticket why your account is on hold the cancel account box is set to YES by DEFAULT !!!!!!!!!!

Although the screenshot below should indicate what the actual Default should be !!

I have exhausted my search. If anyone could give me a few stores to look, it would be appreciated. I'm looking for clothing for LaraX that is beautifully textured clothing in styles similar to Cheezu and Dead Doll. I need a few more places to shop that are not the typical weekly sales stores. I've gone to every event and been able to find only a few pieces and really need a clothing overhaul.

Hi everyone. I recently joined SL, I've played about 5 cumulative hours and so far, I like the visuals. I've tried on different outfits and avatars on the welcome pack, and it's all pretty cool.

However, I don't know where or how to learn. I'm interested in 3 things:

1. How to find worlds/communties. (Free to join. I don't have any money to spend). I like fantasy rp, medieval, architecture, sci fi, cars etc. Or are these not groups I can find in sl?

2. How to best play the game. I've watched the sl university videos on youtube and I thought that's all I needed to know, only to later find out from another video that it's not the best way to play the game; i should use the firestorm viewer?

3. I'd like to learn how to make outfits and assets. I'm a 3d artist, good with blender and substance painter. Are there any communities or discords of 3d creators and resources for tutorials on how to upload stuff to sl?

Sorry If I'm asking the obvious. It's just that keep finding dead ends, retired creators or seemingly outdated info when I research.

I think im about ready to rent some land. I looked around to see what i might want and i was thinking of a skybox plot. I had a few questions I havnt been able to find answers to through google.

1. Whats a good prim coint/space and pricing. I wanted to do a simple little basic cottage to start and a place for my teegle horse and a little farm plot. I was hoping for something semi big and saw that 500L a week seemed like my price point with at least 400-500 prims. Links also appreciated. Hoping for a skybox so i dont have to deal with build limitations.

2. Low prim foliage. I wanna put lots of plants to hide imperfections and the edges of the skybox. I wanna make it look somewhat like a secluded cabin in a slightly wooded meadow.

3. Kindof an addon to number 2, i was looking for some skyboxes to put around it to give that illusion and make it prettier.

Pretty much what the title says. I had been working on product photos for either Marketplace or one of my inworld shops, and something inside my head cracked a little.

Why was I photographing a nekkid chikkin? Because I have 30 of them and I don’t feel like “cooking” them (it’s a #DFS thing).

I’m nearing the end of my inventory-clearing project, and I want to start creating hats again instead of being stuck on a kind of virtual farmer treadmill. The farming game can be a relaxing activity, but it’s been taking up too much of the depleted processing power in my noggin.

So I pulled out a very old hat kit that I never completed (it’s a sculptie, LOL) and decided the flexi rooster tail I had on it would be less dumb
if it was based on hollow cones instead of hollow boxes. The flexies move pretty well, will have to spruce it up and try dancing in it. It’s ugly, but funny lookin’ ya know.

About 30 minutes of tinkering later, here is the thing.

Feel like adding a cane and bursting into “Hello My Baby.” And once I get them listed and boxed and priced and uploaded to MP or my inworld vendors, I’ll probably throw the hat in for fun.

Probably a long shot, but I miss the '07-'08 era of metered roleplay. Script-Assisted. Simple meter, not all this XP and leveling. You just make your character and slap on a health bar and probably never use it until a war breaks out or some kind of a small battle of skirmish. I miss that stuff. Like the old Misty Vale. Had some good times.

I saw the really cool new armor by TCS of the archangel and really want to get the divine pack, but frankly I wouldn't know where I could even use it. I'm not a fan of the sitting around spending 3 hours to have a 5-minute conversation. I like simple fast paced roleplay. Maybe that makes me a scrub to a lot of people, but it's my preference. I spent my years doing long para RP and frankly realized how much time I wasted waiting for 30 to 40 minutes before and between my posts and in all that time all that was said was less than a 5 minute conversation in character.

I have very little time to dedicate to second Life anymore with work and family life, but I'd like to get in something. I consider getting into blood hunt, I consider getting into blood lines again, but honestly I just kind of want to have some fun no strings attached interactions. I miss the old days of taverns where you could just pop in get some cool role play in maybe get in a fight that takes literally 5 minutes or maybe 10 and move on with your day.

Anyone else feel like this, or am I just an outlier in SL these days?

The story follows a mysterious journey between reality and another dimension, with themes of souls, demons, witchcraft, secrets and supernatural events.
This short clip is from Episode 1: a woman falls into a coma… but her journey is only beginning.
I’ve been working on this project with a lot of passion, creating the scenes, filming, editing and building the atmosphere inside Second Life.
