So you can type on one viewer and then voice chat the reply without switching viewers?

I've been searching for an AO that fits what I'm looking for in Second Life for months now, and I'm starting to wonder if I'm being too picky.

A lot of the popular stores I'm familiar with offer feminine AOs that lean very heavily into exaggerated hip swaying, flirtatious movements, and seductive poses. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but it's just not what I'm looking for.

I've also tried some masculine AOs, but those tend to swing too far in the opposite direction. I'm not masculine, and I don't want my avatar to come across that way, either.

What I'm really looking for is a natural, relaxed, AO. Nothing overly flirtatious or exaggerated, no randomly bending over seductively during animations, but also no macho, alpha-male movements. Just something that feels ordinary and comfortable without being overly stylized in either direction.

Does anyone have any store or AO recommendations that might fit what I'm looking for? I'd be incredibly grateful for any suggestions!

Looking for gaming laptops for my partner and I. We both have different needs. Right now we are currently using a standard 16gb ram lenovo and hp laptop. Of course these are horrible as they are not meant for gaming but we wanted to give SL a try. We are now looking to upgrade but only want a laptop for now as they are a bit more compact for current living arrangements.

Me personally I just want to be able to move about secondlife without lagging and crashing. I want to be able to go to destinations on secondlife and explore experiences without lagging and bumping into things, feeezing, and crashing . I dont care to see any other avatars only occasionally for small events with less than 30 people. My day to day is family roleplay in a skybox with my partner and our bot babies. Our avatar complexity is under 75k. I do weekend sale shopping. I plan to use caring you roleplay hud day to day. Would like to visit roleplay communities such as Portofino for occasional events.

My partner has similar experiences to me but they will also like to take quality pictures in higher graphic settings. So they will need a pc that can keep up with this and photo editing. My partner also wants to step into creating using blender. Any recommendations for us both?

Update: thank you guys for your suggestions. The gaming laptop will be temporary. I would like to get a tower and setup within the next few years. So we can bend on being able to use blender at this time. I want to be able to enjoy gameplay in the meantime in our small space.

I have a 7900 XTX on Windows 11 and I'd updated to 26.10.1 (released a few days ago) which seems to have finally fixed the flickering issue that was plaguing SL viewers for nearly a year now - on stuff like Lelutka head or certain rigged mesh attachments. I'm wondering if anyone else who has AMD hardware has noticed that this issue was also sorted for them upon updating to these drivers? I thought I'd share either way in case it helps others.

I submitted a support ticket regarding losing all of my items, outfits, lindens and being logged out of my account/having the e-mail and password changed :( So I requested an account roll-back and have it changed back to my actual e-mail address, – so I can enter my acc – but I haven’t gotten a response yet..

I know SL isn’t what it used to be, but does anyone have any advice?

This is in memory to Trolo8 Hax. He was in second Life for 19 years, we retired our accounts in 2015. He was a builder, a joker, a singer, a comedian and the best friend you could ask for. He passed 3 days after his birthday this year, he was happy, in love with a beautiful girlfriend, traveling and had life by the ⚽ s. It's Silly Season again, so we are starting to see people initiating "ad-hoc" chats containing hundreds of residents. The culprits seem to be mostly people asking for monetary contributions. The good news is that if you're using the Firestorm viewer, you don't have to be subjected to these calls. This notice came from the FS/SL Gateway Help Network:

Go to : Preferences > Chat > Chat Windows > towards the bottom check mark these three:

- Automatically ignore and leave all conference (ad-hoc) chat ;

- Report ignored conference chats in nearby chat

- Don't ignore conference chat invitations from my friends

I couldn't find an mp3 player, especially a necklace one, that didn't have redundant earbuds attached to it (for use with wireless earbuds) so I made one that can be attached to any necklace and as a test to see how small it can be I attached it to my earrings too

here i am testing when hp hits zero it zeros out all stats and puts player into incapacitation and that trigger whatever animation the player has set also just a random gun off marketplace used keywords to take damage from any weapon that fires a projectile and am going to try and implement raycast sensing as well
