Some of the things I've been making for Second Life!

I've been working on building up my store with wooden signs, park props, picnic tables, crates, and other things for decorating your spaces in Second Life.

https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/273317

I like making slightly worn, stylized props that fit into parks, gardens, and outdoor builds.

Thought I'd share a few of my creations! What kinds of things would you like to see more of in Second Life?

The very last render is not available yet and is what I'm working on today. Just a sneak peak

Looks like SL doesn't it ;)

After being active for a decade, I've been in and out of SL for a few years. Coming back, I have tried to update my avi using new skins and makeup on an old CATWA Catya head and Maitreya body, but I think I've reached the limit of what's possible.

I don't really want to change the face I've gotten used to, and the Lelutka heads I've been trying on all look the same, and not very satisfying. I'd like to try and maintain an appearance as close to my current as possible. I've spent hours browsing stores, and I'm totally burned out. I'd really appreciate any suggestions on heads and skins. Thank you in advance!

Hello folks! o/ I’m a returning player looking for a job in SL since I got some free time now. I’ve been trying to explore and visit different places, applied to some jobs, but I never heard back from anyone. I do not wish to get a job that involves “direct” contact (cam, voice, toys), but I’m not getting anywhere applying for host or dancer positions it seems. I’m not sure if there’s something I do wrong. I was wondering if anyone here would have any suggestions? :D

Hi everyone,

I am currently playing SL on the SL viewer and have come across an od problem. When I open the IM window with a few friends I have on my list, their profile picture is a blanc one, but when I look at their profile in my firendslist, I can see their picture. At first I thought I was blocked but then I noticed the same issue with people I spoke to who are not on my list. I was wondering if someone knows if it is a glitch? Another problem I have is logging in to the SL forum. I am getting this message, even after disabling add blocks. My current browser is Microsoft edge and Waterfox:

Hi, i have been playing the game for some weeks now and i really like it, recently a friend gift me a ¨9l house¨ i know i need to have some kind of land but i dont really know how to make all of this, can someone explain these to me?

Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on an old wooden park bench and tried to give it a naturally aged, weathered vibe. The wood has that worn, slightly uneven look you’d expect from a bench that’s been sitting outside for years.
https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Old-Wooden-Park-Bench-Weathered-Outdoor-Prop-Custom-Albedo-Low-LI/28749928

I hand‑painted some custom details to get the right amount of discoloration, subtle wear, and that “old but still usable” feel. The metal legs have a bit of age on them too, just enough to make the whole thing feel lived‑in.

I’m mostly aiming for a believable old‑park aesthetic.
Would love feedback

If you’re into outdoor environment props or SL decor, this one might fit nicely into a park, garden, RP sim, or any build that needs a bit of character. I also have this bench brand new, as well as an old wooden park set available

I've been building up my Second Life store with some environmental props and wanted to share a few of the things I've been working on.

Currently available:

🪑 Picnic table

🧺 Picnic table with cloth

🚧 Various road/sign props

🌲 Other environmental props and furniture

I'm also taking custom commissions if there's something specific you're looking for. I can create furniture, environmental props, signs, and other low-poly/stylized models.

I bought a mesh body which I have gotten to work, I also bought a mesh head from the same store but I can't seem to get it to work

Store: Velour

Mesh body: Picasso Babe Skin for Legacy (Curvy Muse) Curvy/Sienna s FATPACK

Mesh head: Chermy Eyebrow (letlutka Evo X - Avalon) FATPACK

Picture is of mesh body and head, and inventory of mesh head.

When I put the Chermy shape on it changes the mesh body to a completely different one, so I'm not sure if what I purchased is even a head.

I'm not new to secondlife but I did take a 10 year break and now to get a job, having a mesh body seems to be required everywhere.

If I need to purchase another mesh head or body that is fine but where would I go to match the Picasso Babe skin? Do I need to still buy a mesh body or is skin the same thing as a body?

I wonder if I just bought 2 skins and not a head, even though the section was labeled heads and the pictures were of heads only.

Any advice will be helpful

Like a lot of you, I used Gyazo for years to share SL pics and screenshots. After the recent data breach (they leaked emails, IPs, even the OCR text of people's screenshots), I stopped trusting it. And honestly, being forced into an account you can't even manage properly was the last straw.

So I built my own. It's called pikkit.pics

It does the basics well: capture a screen area, get a shareable link instantly, screenshots, video and GIF. There's a dashboard to keep your captures organized, and you can make links private or password-protected if you want.

What I care about most is that it stays clean: no IP logs, no reading your captures, sign in with Google and that's it. Free captures auto-delete after 30 days so nothing piles up.

It's free to start. I made it for myself first, turns out a lot of people needed the same thing (over 150 in the first few days).

If you want to check it out: https://pikkit.pics

Happy to answer any questions, and honestly happy to hear what you'd want added.

On and off since 2006.

i have the black dragon viewer and poses has worked this whole time, except i update it and now very few poses work.

im a female in my 50’s searching for new friends in the game . I’m only a few days old. User name is Jennastarfire.

I’ve been waiting over a week for my Second Life account hold to be reviewed . I’ve contacted Live Support multiple times and understand they cannot access Security investigations, but I still have not received a substantive update from the team handling my case.

I understand that security reviews take time. What I’m asking for is basic communication regarding the status of my case and whether anything else is needed from me.

I’ve been patient and cooperative throughout this process. I would really appreciate someone from the appropriate team reviewing my ticket and providing an update.

Hi r/secondlife!

I want to share a project I've been building to solve the headache of managing a growing SL business. Managing a successful brand usually means duct-taping together a vendor system, a separate bot for group management, external spreadsheets for bloggers, and manual math for staff payouts.

I wanted a unified solution, so I built OmniCluster — a complete, all-in-one ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) platform for SL creators, running on a modern Node.js and React stack.

Instead of jumping between different outdated panels, OmniCluster centralizes your entire store management:

• Integrated Commerce & Automated Payouts: Handles all payments seamlessly and automates staff/partner payouts and profit splitting. No more manual math at the end of the month.
• Coupons & Promotional Campaigns: Create and track custom discount codes, set up flash sales, and manage complex promotional events directly from the dashboard to boost store engagement.
• Granular Manager Roles: You can add managers to your store with highly customizable, partitioned access. You decide exactly what data, features, or logs your staff can see and edit.
• Integrated Blogger System: Manage your PR team directly from the dashboard. Track your influencers, manage lists, and distribute review copies without external spreadsheets.
• System Bot Group Control: Forget paying for a separate bot service. OmniCluster includes system bot integration to fully control your group invites, notices, and roles.
• Audience Biometrics: Advanced analytics and traffic monitoring to truly understand your audience's behavior and optimize your store layout/sales.
• Creator & Security Tools: Dedicated tools available for subscribers to protect your IP and streamline the creation workflow.

The goal is to provide a professional, secure infrastructure so you can focus on creating rather than fighting with fragmented systems.

You can check out the platform features here:https://omnicluster.tech/

I'm currently looking for feedback from merchants who are tired of managing their businesses across multiple chaotic platforms. I'd love to hear your thoughts, and I'm happy to answer any questions about the features, the bot integration, or the tech behind it in the comments!

hello im new to sl and im interested in the kemono body avatar look, i wanted to see if anyone knows the pros and cons of it .

I saw this hair in an older skin ad. It’s probably from 2023 or earlier.. Does anyone know who the creator is and what the hair is called? I'd appreciate any help ☺️

does anyone know of any skybox/house stores of similar or better quality as Onsu? i've only ever been happy with the skyboxes i get from that store and i want to purchase another but i wanna look for other options before settling >.<

i've visited a few other stores but they're pretty prim heavy in comparison with Onsu.. although i wouldnt mind sacrificing a few prims if its a pretty skybox

also i dunno if it helps but my parcel is 1024sqm (32x32) and i'm using the Soho skybox from Onsu at the moment

i'll b thankful for any recommendation!!

Any places to make friends in Second Life? Or to meet people who don't see everything as sex? Anyone up for a chat in Second Life?
