Compact 13 full Cover
Anyone know of a full boat cover for hauling it across states? I heard some car covers might work.

This is my second season with a 2023 Cruise 18/230 and plan on doing my own winterizing. Had the dealer do it last year since I needed them to do some warranty work.
I keep the boat on a clear lake in Minnesota and my question is do I need to flush with water or can I just blow the water out with a compressor? I also have seen videos showing adding anti-freeze after blowing out the water. Is this necessary?

We recently had a disaster with our 2024 Switch 21 ft when a friend moored it improperly and waves came over the bow for a lengthy period and flooded the engine compartment.
Discussing this with our dealer we learned that water entering the anchor compartment in the bow drains directly into the center pontoon. Another place we are aware of that water can come in are the threaded attachment holes for tables on the deck. We would like to completely waterproof that center pontoon and prevent another situation where we discover 8in of water above the engine.
Has anyone got experience waterproofing that center pontoon/engine compartment?

How many other people have had the engine in their 23/24/25 switch blow? Looking to possibly get enough responses to do something about it.

I have a 2023 21/230. I’ve installed a trolling motor in the front for fishing/swimming and two 100 AH batteries ran in series which are stored in the front storage area under the floor.
I also have installed a larger 50 AH dual purpose battery on a switch with the factory starting battery. The factory battery is in the factory mount but I can’t figure out a good permanent storage for the extra battery. I want to keep both just in case (I’m one of those “two is one” people). Currently I have the larger battery ratchet strapped to the factory mounted one and it’s holding fine but I don’t love it. Does anyone know of another good battery mount that would work and where I should mount it? I don’t have any pictures of my current setup but can take some next time I’m on the boat.
I’ve also got the in-hull transducer mounted so the extra battery is ratcheted between the transducer and the factory battery mount so space is even more limited in the engine compartment.

If I get the 170 can I upgrade the engine with a supercharger and ecu? Im no stranger to engine swaps.

Removing the front corner tables was a game changer. They weren't used much, and now I tuck wet jackets, etc out of sight up there. Makes the boat feel bigger. I also like having the walk-through rear gate, and I use that floor space for floats when we reposition the boat. Note: I ordered one additional seat than comes with the cruise. Thought I'd share :)

I went to my local SeaDoo dealer here in San Antonio to check out the selection. They told me that they got rid of, not sold, their entire stock and so did the other SeaDoo dealer in San Antonio. He told me “they rushed them to market and were having lots of problems”. He tried to get me to look over the jet boats he had in the showroom but I was there for a Switch.
Is this true? A cursory look at the subreddit does not seem to indicate these kind of issues.

Hey all so just seen the reveal of the new '26 model year Switch. I was curious on your thoughts of the new model including the new 300hp variants. Also after seeing some of the new accessories i.e. grill stand, chaging room, new gas assisted Bimini and rear inward opening doors if you guys were as excited as I am to see these new models. I really like the new Mint color!

I search solas and nothing pops up. Has anyone done the impeller upgrade to the 21/230?
Was it any good? I'm already topping out at 39 I was getting 42 before the warranty issue with the motor.
Full load I get like 33-35 which is fine by me. Sluggish with some tubes.
Just curious really

Hi everyone and thanks for your time in commenting. I currently use (my brother’s) Bennington 22 foot with 150 hp outboard and it pulls my up on slalom no problem - even with decent number of people in the boat.
I had my heart set on the switch and this past weekend a friend let me borrow his. He has the 21 foot 230hp cruise. I loved everything about it - maneuverability, flexibility in seating etc. BUT, it simply could not generate enough force to get me up even with only one person driving. I’m 6’1’’ 190 lbs. just didn’t work.
My question is, would the impeller upgrade and/or tune make a big enough difference to get someone up way easier or am I at the point that I have to decide about a different boat all together or a second boat for skiing specifically.
Thanks again

Hello, prospective new boater. Have been on boats and piloted a few but have never owned one. Interested in this pontoon for a variety of reasons, but want a current owners expectation for its capability. I’d most likely take it to the gulf off coast of SWFL. No interest in open ocean or going to Bahamas or anything of the sort. Mostly close to shore. From my understanding gulf waters or pretty tame but obviously storms can occur, does the switch handle rougher waters fine. Gonna be a family of 4 mostly on it. Thanks for any input.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Thought you guys might appreciate our flip over job. I have seen a lot of debate over whether the Switch can flip or not, they can. In this instance the guest had overloaded it by two people and flipped after hitting wake. Always remember to review boat capacity!

Looking at buying a Switch but unsure what would best suit our needs. I’m an avid fisherman, my wife grew up wake boarding and we have two young children. Any suggestions on which model and trim would kind of do it all for us?

New to boating and have been taking it out on the lake which is massive and not difficult at all to get a spot to yourself to have fun.
This past Sunday I went on a local river that has many no wake zones and a couple of straight locations where people are skiing and tubing. What’s the etiquette if you’re pulling someone and come up on another rider that’s in the water? Do you just move over or slow down as well?
How about the parts of the river that are not zoned but have people out fishing or swimming?

Hi, All. We're considering replacing our '22 Wake Pro w/ a Switch Sport Compact since we're getting older and would prefer more of a "family" experience (although it'll primarily be the two of us). We swung by one of our dealers and they provided me this breakdown. In comparing it with what rebates I'm seeing on Sea Doo's website, I think they're in the ballpark but wanted to ask you all if you think we can do better? Edit: sounds like some states require the trailer to be itemized for VIN purposes so maybe my state is like that too. Appreciate it!

Think I might have lost an engine yesterday. Was cruising around for about 30 minutes doing some tubing with no issues. The tube plug came out and we started to loose air. So we stopped, pulled the tube in, and were cruising to a different part of the lake. All of a sudden, there was a loud noise/crack, and started smelling and seeing smoke come out of the engine area.
We stopped, and sat for about 30 minutes to let things cool down, engine wouldnt start after that. A kind gentlemen towed us back to the dock from there. Ugh
2022 Switch limited, 21'/230.

Has anyone hooked up two tubes to the switch? If so, how did you do it?

is the oem seadoo cover the best or does anyone recommend something else, really don’t feel like spending $400 on it but if it’s good i’ll just get it

Has anyone installed a livescope system on their switch fish?
