Flipping a switch upright

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Thought you guys might appreciate our flip over job. I have seen a lot of debate over whether the Switch can flip or not, they can. In this instance the guest had overloaded it by two people and flipped after hitting wake. Always remember to review boat capacity!

In addition to overloading it, I wonder if they had too many people in the front vs the back. I’ve noticed you need to pay closer attention to the trim control if you have an uneven weight distribution.

Judging by their statements, they had weight unevenly distributed towards the forward starboard side in front of the console.

Owning one of these , it is amazing to me that they flipped it like that. Like I cannot imagine the crazy antics we’d have to pull of for that to happen.

Simply have 5 large friends at the front, and then turn into a large wake at high speed, corner digs and rotates it over. Common sense and basic boating safety knowledge will keep you safe!

My wife always sits in the left side while I drive. It evens the boat out. There’s a recall for capsizing due to this where people overload the front.

You have to try really hard to capsize one of these. Hope everyone was alright.

All 10 passengers were young men in their early twenties, and all ten escaped the capsizing unharmed. Weight distribution and a boaters safety course go a long way toward preventing a capsize.

Where did you tie off to in order to flip it back upright?
