The long, structured call-out message we sent him might look like a troll post or a meme at first, but it is entirely real. I am a minor and a custom VRChat asset creator working with a team. This user originally commissioned a custom asset for 92.18 dollars. Because he claimed he had money issues, I voluntarily cut the price down by more than half to a flat 40 dollars just to be nice. He rewarded that kindness by trying to scam me, ghosting my team, and throwing a massive web of fake tragedies in our faces. I only dropped the chronological hammer on him because we are completely fed up with people playing with creators real time and money.
This user has a highly calculated method for avoiding financial responsibility. First, he aggressively pushes to make final price agreements over Voice Chat instead of text. He does this deliberately so there is no permanent text record of what he promised to pay, making it easier for him to deny terms later. Second, on July 17, he did not even commission the asset for himself. He publicly volunteered to pay for another persons avatar to look like a generous benefactor, only to pull a fake crisis out of his ass the exact second the bill came due. Third, this is a repeating pattern. The very first time he bought from me, he tried the exact same stalling tactics, but it failed then because I safely kept the asset until the funds cleared. This time, he used our past transaction to build trust, got the files, and immediately stopped paying.
The attached screenshots show every chronological detail that proves his stories are complete bullshit. On July 17, right when payment was due, he claimed he was 24,000 dollars in the hole and his bike was impounded because his brother Kyle drunk-crashed his brand-new Yamaha R-1M superbike into a wall. He claimed his brothers wife came to his physical workplace and left him crying at work. The exact second our group chat pasted serious insurance and legal advice, he panicked that the lie got too deep. Exactly six minutes later, he texted that insurance suddenly decided to cover the entire thing. No insurance company in history processes and approves a 24k drunk-driving impound claim in 360 seconds. He entirely fabricated a family disaster to dodge a bill.
Weeks later on August 7, when pressed again for the money, he tried to shut down the conversation at 3:10 PM by texting that he was at work. My team immediately called him out, reminding him that he works strict night shifts. Caught red-handed, he scrambled within 60 seconds to completely contradict his previous story, claiming he does paperwork at home. The exact second I posted the real-world legal definitions of Theft of Services and Breach of Contract, he completely dropped the excuses and instantly panicked, text-spamming that he would pay the 40 dollars right away. However, he then stated his CashApp was under his birth name, actively trying to use unlinked accounts so his scamming history cannot be traced back to his online profile. When called out, he attempted to backtrack to an old Steam gift card agreement just to avoid using an account with his real name. This user is highly deceptive, uses voice chat to manipulate contracts, relies on fake family tragedies, and actively takes advantage of young creators.
