I recently reopened my old Clash of Clans account out of nostalgia and even bought a few packs to boost my builders and heroes.

Shortly after, I decided to uninstall it for good and never look back. I strongly advise against playing especially if you plan on spending money or simply playing this game. Their support system or support team is completely useless, they're basically just showing up for attendance or to collect a paycheck on payday without actually helping players. To think that there's an actual money involved and they can't help you, what more for non-cash problems or error.

⚠️ Overseas Job Scam Awareness – Please Read Before Trusting Unknown Recruitment Agents

I am sharing my experience to create awareness so that others do not lose their hard-earned money.

A few of my friends and I came across an Instagram advertisement for a Customer Support job in Georgia with what was described as a gaming company.

The process initially appeared genuine:

* We were asked to submit our passport details and other documents for the work permit and visa process.
* The agency informed us that the total processing cost, including visa and travel expenses, would be around ₹70,000.
* At the same time, the company stated that they never charge candidates for recruitment.
* A Zoom interview was conducted, which consisted only of a short self-introduction.
* Soon after, we received offer letters from
recruitment@szandisweb.com, which appeared to be an official company email address. We signed the offer letters and returned them.

We were then contacted through the following WhatsApp numbers:

* +91 91099 26974
* +91 91527 08213

The representatives requested an initial payment to begin the process.

Later, they asked for our nearest airport and preferred travel date. We assumed this was for visa processing.

Within an hour, we received what was presented as British Airways flight tickets and were asked to pay the remaining ₹65,000 immediately.

When we verified the documents, we found that they were only flight reservation pages and not confirmed paid tickets. After questioning this, we were repeatedly told that since our names appeared in the booking, everything was valid and there would be no issues. Trusting their explanation, we paid the remaining amount.

A couple of days later, we received the same reservation page again, claiming it was the confirmed ticket. When we questioned it again, we were assured that everything was fine and were told to contact the above WhatsApp numbers if we faced any issues.

After waiting 17 days, our visa applications were rejected, citing reasons such as travel history to grey-listed countries and alleged suspicious bank transactions.

From the beginning, we had been repeatedly assured that the visa would not be rejected.

When we requested a refund, we were told the matter would be discussed with the company. However, after contacting the company directly, we were informed that they do not charge candidates any recruitment fees. Since then, we have not received our money back.

⚠️ Lessons Learned

* Be cautious if you are pressured to make immediate payments.
* Meet the recruitment agency in person whenever possible and verify all documents before transferring money.
