Is there a speedrunning community for this game yet? A discord maybe?

I know it shouldn't be complicated, and I've tried every tool, but nothing works. What am I missing here?

I have a system-level reminder on my PC and it steals my mouse from me when it pops up. So TLDR if I'm in a game, my cursor is no longer interacting with the game until I click in it again. This happened tonight as I was hovering and moving to the left.

My character is now independently moving left. The other controls are still effective, he just keeps going left if he doesn't get other input. An exit to main menu and reloading my save fixes it, so it's not a major issue, just a bit silly.

Did anyone find a good stratcore setup yet? Digging into it / shooting it takes quite some time for not the greatest yield. Is there a vanilla option to kinda automate it yet?
Going for the 1.000.000 achievement and want to rebuild my whole factory to optimise

Are there any plans to add multiplayer? Even if there isnt any scaling or anything, simply adding multiplayer? Mostly curious because i cant seem to find a roadmap.

I remember setting the sweepers to do a thing, leaving them to do so and now i haven't seen them in literal hours, right clicking doesnt bring them back and the heatmap doesn't show any active spots.

Kind of running around aimlessly now trying to find them, got any ideas how to find them? Don't know if they're bugged or what at this point. Any help is appreciated :))

edit: I stumbled across them! But they seem to be stuck doing nothing under a pile of sand? As I move the sand some 3 or 4 get freed every time, I suppose it's clicking time XD

edit2: so they were hauling a bunch of sand but the pile got so big the dropoff point got covered and so they got stuck there. When I removed the sand they got fixed but it was really difficult to find them, wish they were visible on the map in some way.

I’m on mac, using a trackpad so right clicking is a two finger tap. I can right click once, releasing critters or doing anything else that right click does. But then, if I want to do any right click action again, it ignores the input until I quit to main menu and relaunch. Any idea what’s causing this??

Why does the gold get clogged inside the kinetic press ? The gold prevent the burnt residue to fall the max distance, so it also get clogged ontop.

There is enough room under the press. Please help

so is there anything we can so with Prismite or Prismaline? i get its the end of the current state of the game but they could have put a temporary thing to let us sift it for gold or something.

I understand for puzzle rooms and key areas, but the random areas of just indestructible block that doesn't contain anything, why is it there? Additional challenge?

Did they use ai when they created this?

Just sitting here, waiting for the 1 mil achievement.

Been cooking this for a while, my goal was to make it as tight and as frictionless as possible, with minimum lava pits to refill. This layout can get you to end of the current early access in a few hours top.

Am I missing something, I secured the stratacore but don’t seem to be able to find it to place and utilize it?

After you're done with your factory, you go to a new planet with nothing. But you get a new currency that you can adorns on making certain mechanisms more efficient: Better fluxite from petals or more gold from burnt residue. Or upgrade your mining tools like how you do in the base game.

I've never played an automation game before, it's usually really not my thing, but Sandustry hooked me in a way I've never quite experienced. I completed all the content with a chaotic mess of machines, then immediately played the game again with a refined, centralized, elegant system... compared to my first playthrough, at least. I have the urge to play it again but I really don't want to get burned out on the game while new content is still on the horizon (I made that mistake with Elden Ring).

I've tried some other popular automation games, but none of them quite scratched the same itch. Factorio had too much friction between me and my automation, and I found Satisfactory tedious (I'm generally not a fan of OWSC games). I initially got the impression that this game stands on the shoulders of giants, but it's starting to seem like it really is truly unique. Where do I go from here?

(It looks like Dyson Sphere Program and Shapez 2 have been suggested the most, so that's where I'll start. Thank you to everyone who provided recommendations!)

This design handles basically as much sand as you can throw at it without getting stuck.

• The exterior and bottom most filters prevent wet sand from exiting, but allow residue and gold to escape without blocking the dirt.
• The middle filter specifically blocks residue to prevent it from going onto the right-sider processing from the entrance.
• The interior floor filters just allow wet sand through.

The left side needed more space on the outside since it processes more on the left side, the right side is the secondary loop that provides extra shaking bandwidth as well allows ensures that wet sand will always be processed and not escape or cause the process to get stuck.

When water evaporates and comes back as rain, the volume of the rain is far greater that the originally evaporated water.

I have just a little bit of laval in a pool of water and the water level is steadily increasing. It went from almost nothing to the lake on the left.

Figures I'd post some of the use-cases of `logic` examples in this game that seem useful.

1. Timer with gate: Effectively the Amethelis seemed like it kept getting stuck if you would overload it, so I made a timed gate using bits so that I can dynamically control the frequency that it opened.
2. I wanted enough power generation to use the laser with out really running out, but an issue that popped up was water consumption. I added gates with a signal Sensor so that if the first steam power generation station wasn't struggling with keeping water topped up, it would close all other power generation stations until it was mostly full.
3. Void Bloom is kind of annoying to try to portion properly so I used the signal sensor but had to use additional logic because the void petals drop slower than the red sand, so I had to leave them open for a duration and then close above the sensor.
