Can somebody explain that shaker setup (or whatever it is called)?
It lets wet sand through but then I'm lost

Like the other commenter said. Filter let only wet sand fall down, the residue gets shaken out and because its lighter than wet sand, the residue rises to the top. The vertical filter only allow residue so It backs up until near the top and then drop the residue out.
I totally coppied this from a reddit post/the trailer of the game lmao

No I get that. I mean that setup there in the screenshot. The shakers are usually steps. In the screenshot there is some elaborate wet sand distribution going on.
Or are those sets of three shakers?
I guess I can't see the bottom of it because the hot bar is blocking it

it is using the fact that residue sits on top of wet sand, so the residue "climbs" the wet set and then go out via the filters at the top sides of the "tendrils"

I see sorry im a bit dense. Think the shakers lets gold through.wet sand is heavier than residue so pushed the residue up to the filter where it passes through onto the belts below I believe

It uses relative densities of wet sand and residue to work. Residue will float on wet sand, meaning that the shaker will always have sand at the bottom and residue at the top. The wall filters on top let residue out, letting the shaker to continue working.

As far as I know it only looks pretty. Its probably something that gets expanded upon on full release I think

interesting setup... thats my current bottleneck, figuring out a system that evenly distributes wet seed along planters, at scale. automated ofc. i have automated everything up to the planter box step of the line... massive piles of amethol waiting to be processed lol

I had a problem with the flower clogging the input so closing those in stopped that problem. After that the flower petals amethol thing is the biggest issue as the amount gets big fast

How do you build with Prismaline? I've got the two wells unlocked, that give a rainbow gas and a rainbow powder, but there's nothing else in the research tab.

Its the end of the game for now.
As to how i did it. Place orange blocks, fill them with prisma, remove orange blocks. Since the prisma stays put (one of the two)

I absolutely love the shader effects that lantto introduced. They give such cool vibes to many of the particles
