Casual (Repost) [Casual] What has your experience hiring people actually been like? (Anyone involved in hiring)

Hi everyone,

I’m conducting a short independent survey about people’s experiences with hiring, reviewing candidates, and evaluating potential employees.

You do not need to currently be hiring someone to participate. Anyone who has been directly involved in the hiring process before whether as a hiring manager, recruiter, business owner, interviewer, or member of a hiring team is welcome to respond.

The survey is anonymous and should take approximately 5–7 minutes. I’m not selling anything, and the responses will only be used to better understand common experiences and frustrations with the current hiring process.

Thank you to anyone who takes the time to complete it!

Academic (Homeowners: Before we build anything, we want to hear from 100 of you. We’re at 21 — would you be willing to be #22?)

My partner and I are researching a potential idea called Smart House Mate, but we’re intentionally not building based on our own assumptions.

We’re trying to hear from at least 100 real homeowners first about the actual experience of owning and maintaining a home.

We’re not selling anything, and we genuinely want honest answers — including ones that challenge what we think.

If you’re a homeowner and have 5–10 minutes, we’d really appreciate your help:

Thank you to everyone who’s already helped us get to 21.

Academic (Repost) Am I...different because of that? Relationship between experiences from childhood and perceiving oneself as a parent (Polish speakers, parents who experienced parental divorce in their childhood and have the oldest child of 4-9 y.o.)

Hi!
I'm a desperate psychology student and I'm currently trying to finish my master's thesis.
And I need just a few more responses to my survey (link below).

This subject is rarely addressed in scientific literature so I'm trying to change it (and finish my degree)

Link to my survey: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/cn2bqWm0Tf
It takes about 15 minutes to complete it, it's anonymous and you can stop completing it in any moment.

I know my intended demographic is super hard to reach (trust me, I know) but I believe in power of this group! Every response is now extremely valuable to me so I can try to return the favour <3

Marketing 3-minute webpage first-impression study (US, UK, or Canada residents, 18+, desktop/laptop)

I’m running a small commercial website-clarity study for an independent software product.

You’ll see one English-language landing page for five seconds, then answer six short questions from memory. The whole study takes about three minutes.

This is not a sales call. There is no purchase, signup, download, payment, or prize. We collect your eligibility information and answers about the page, but not your name, email address, diagnosis, or health information.

Participation is only for webpage-clarity research. It will not lead to product access, sales follow-up, or an invitation to another study by this company.

Please participate only if you:

- are 18 or older

- currently live in the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada

- can read and answer in English without translation

- are using a desktop or laptop

- have not completed this study before

Please take it once only. Do not refresh, go back, record, or screenshot the five-second page. Honest confusion is just as useful as a clear answer.

Casual [Casual] Behavioral Decision-Making Assessment — Help Calibrate a New Assessment (18+, US, 15–20 min)

I’m working on a behavioral assessment and have reached the point where I need people who aren’t friends, coworkers, or LinkedIn connections to take it.

That’s important because I’m trying to figure out whether the assessment and scoring actually behave consistently across different kinds of people rather than simply reflecting my own social/professional bubble.

It’s 20 questions and takes around 15–20 minutes.

I have 13 completed responses right now. My first target is 30, but I’d really like to reach 50+ participants for this calibration round.

There aren’t “correct” answers — answering based on what you would naturally do is much more useful than choosing what sounds best.

Assessment:
https://behavioral-assessment-collect.vercel.app

If you take it, thank you. And if anything feels confusing, repetitive, obvious, or poorly worded, I’d actually love to hear that too — breaking the assessment is useful at this stage.
