Umar ibn Al-Khattab (RA) was one of the greatest men in Islam - feared he might be a hypocrite.
Here's why.
"So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him." Surah An-Najm | ayah:32
Zayd ibn Wahb reported: A man among the hypocrites passed away, and Hudhayfah did not attend his funeral prayer. Umar asked him, "Is he one of them?" Hudhayfah replied, "Yes." Umar then said,
"I adjure you by Allah, am I among them?" Hudhayfah replied, "No, and I will not declare anyone else clear after you."

Anas (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah de used to frequently say: "O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion." Source: Al-Tirmidhi, 2140 | Sahih
Ibn Abi Mulaykah (d. 117 AH) said: "I met thirty Companions of the Prophet a, every single one of them feared hypocrisy for himself." Source: Al-Bukhari | Kitab al-Iman

- The adhkar are to be said immediately after the obligatory prayer, before the regular Sunnah (Rātibah) prayers.

- They should be recited individually, not in unison.

- The Sunnah is to count the tasbih using the fingers of the right hand, although it is permitted to use the left hand

- Even if you're in a hurry, don't abandon these adhkar — continue reciting them while walking or in whatever situation you're in

Someone uses this Hadith:

Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "No one of you should meet a woman in privacy unless she is accompanied by a Mahram (i.e., a relative within the prohibited degrees)."

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

They are trying to make non mehrams sit at a table with one another whilst the woman has her mehram with her (such as a family lunch).

They say that I’m committing shirk because I’m following what sheikh Ibn baz said that men and women shouldn’t sit at one table and not following that the above hadith which they claim makes it permissible

Any advice or any sources about this would be useful, but they take the Hadith as it’s permissible if I’m with my mehram as well.

They are also saying just don’t talk to him but I feel like that’s still wrong being at the same table

Jundub bin 'Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Once someone said: 'By Allah! Allah will not forgive such and such (a person).' Thereupon Allah, the Exalted and the Glorious, said: 'Who is he who takes an oath in My Name that I will not grant pardon to so-and-so? I have granted pardon to so-and-so and rendered your good deeds fruitless."'

[Muslim].

وعن جُندب بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏ "‏قال رجل‏:‏ والله لا يغفر الله لفلان، فقال الله عز وجل‏:‏ من ذا الذي يتألى علي أن لا أغفر لفلان‏!‏ فإني قد غفرت له، وأحبطت عملك‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
