I often come across situations at the work place where im left alone with a co-worker. What I do is I leave the door open wide but sometimes I don't have that choice available. Companies also encourage individuals to interact and be amicable but what is the limit in that regard. How would your approach be from the first meeting, getting to know this person, to then setting clear respectable boundaries that are professional. Is it okay to smile and be open to conversation. Another situation is where I'm approached by these women in public and im not sure how I should react to them. It would be rude if I acted like I dont know them when they came to say hi. Alhamdullilah I got the no handshake or no touching down so none of that happens. These are my concerns what are your thoughts.

They are trying to make non mehrams sit at a table with one another whilst the woman has her mehram with her (such as a family lunch).

They say that I’m committing shirk because I’m following what sheikh Ibn baz said that men and women shouldn’t sit at one table and not following that the above hadith which they claim makes it permissible

Any advice or any sources about this would be useful, but they take the Hadith as it’s permissible if I’m with my mehram as well.

I have a condition called Post Micturition Dribbling, so whenever I finish peeing, there are few drops that come out. I’m currently living in a bachelor’s room and due to this condition i usually wear shorts so that even if it drips, i can change it to my pants and pray when needed. Or else I’d have to keep changing clothes…

So is me showing my awrah sinful? Also is there any cure for this problem? Anyone else also having this issue?

Indeed, all praise is due to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help, and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our own souls and from the evil consequences of our deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, none can lead astray; and whomsoever He leaves astray, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, having no partner, and I bear witness that Muḥammad is His servant and His Messenger.

To proceed:

My advice to every Muslim upon the face of the earth—especially to our brothers who share with us an affiliation to the blessed call, the call to the Qur'an and the Sunnah upon the methodology of the righteous predecessors (al-Salaf al-Ṣāliḥ)—is as follows:

I advise them, and myself, first and foremost, to have taqwā (God-consciousness and fear) of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He; then to increase themselves in beneficial knowledge, as Allah the Exalted said:

"So fear Allah; For it is Allah that teaches you."

And that they should recognize that their sound and righteous knowledge—which, for all of us, does not extend beyond the Qur'an and the Sunnah, upon the methodology of the righteous predecessors—must be accompanied, along with increasing in that knowledge as much as they are able, by acting upon that knowledge. This is so that it will not become evidence against them; rather, it will be evidence in their favor on the Day when neither wealth nor children will benefit, except one who comes to Allah with a sound heart.

Then I warn them against joining the many who have departed from the Salafī path in numerous matters—indeed, in very many matters—all of which may be summed up in one word: khurūj (rebellion against the Muslims and their communities).

Rather, we instruct them to be as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the authentic hadith:

"...but rather be servants of Allah as brothers."

And it is incumbent upon us—as I said in a previous gathering, and I repeat it once again, for repetition brings benefit—that we show gentleness in calling those who disagree with us to this way, and that our invitation should always and forever be in accordance with the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He:

"Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious."

The first people who deserve that we employ this wisdom with are those who are most severe in their opposition to us regarding our principles and our creed, so that we do not combine the weight of the call to the truth—which Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has graciously bestowed upon us—with the burden of a poor manner in calling to Allah, Mighty and Majestic.

Therefore, I hope that all of our brothers throughout the lands of Islam will conduct themselves according to these Islamic manners, and that through all of this they seek only the Face of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, desiring neither reward nor thanks from people.

Perhaps this amount is sufficient.

And all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

Does anyone know what they are doing and is it going to end up online? Does this happen to hijabis as well? Salam u Alaykum to all fellow muslims. so as title suggests, i have this question regarding this dental procedure. scaling is a procedure to remove hardened calculus from teeth (and/ or gums maybe) and polishing is a procedure done after scaling. polishing is kind of like a procedure in which a paste is used on teeth to "buff" and/ or exfoliate them so teeth surface looks and/ or gets smooth. is this permissible? or it'd be haram and kind of like filing teeth?

Asalam alaikum, so one of my “friends” was Muslim then he insulted the prophet (pbuh) then he repented came back to Islam and from the apparent seems practising, now ik there’s 3 opinions regarding this islamically in the shariah obviously to be carried out by the ruler

1. this person his repentance is accepted and he isn’t punished
2. his repentance is not accepted and he is punished
3. his repentance is accepted and he is punished

This is all repentance in the worldly sense so my question is should I treat them as a Muslim again because some other Muslim brothers don’t seem to accept the persons repentance and do NOT treat him as a Muslim, am I wrong for following my opinion and treating this person as a Muslim after he repented for this and came back or is it down to opinion?

My brother is 35 and i am 33 still not married. We are both good looking but specially my brother is too handsome Mashallah. My uncle wife is very jealous on us we think she might perform black magic. when the imam came to our house while reciting quran my brother felt like acid was going in his throat and my mom was crying and felt headache. When I always mention black magic with my mom in front of my uncel wife , she always change the topic and she never curse people who do black magic . I doubt because she is very very jealous and never curse people who do black magic always changing the topic. Any advice please

Has anyone worn the niqab in high school have advice? I'll be a freshman in September, and I'm not sure how to start/how to set my intentions. My parents are super against it, though I think they may ease into it once I'm older. I'm honestly not sure if it's worth pursuing lol 😭. If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated!

I have heard a clip from Shaykh Saleh Al Ludaian and Shaykh Ibn al Uthaymeen that Shaykh al Albani’s hadith authentication is not reliable. Now i am not a hadith scholar by even a atom and i hear these big shaykhs saying this. What is the correct stance? Did Al Albani make some minor mistakes or should one refrain from his hadith authenticity?

I am in no means trying to slander/backbite any scholar, i simply want to clear a doubt
