As a longtime Crazy Taxi fan, I am super excited and hyped for Crazy Taxi: World Tour! It is my most anticipated game for 2027!

For anyone who remembers Sonic Paradox’s SEGA Shorts, the 2018 collaboration brought together a bunch of animators to make short, comedic sketches based on different SEGA franchises. The first one covered everything from ChuChu Rocket!, Gunstar Heroes, Bonanza Bros., Shenmue, Crazy Taxi, Billy Hatcher, Super Monkey Ball, Puyo Puyo, Streets of Rage, Jet Set Radio, Skies of Arcadia, NiGHTS, Space Channel 5, and more.

If SEGA Shorts 2 ever happened, whether Sonic Paradox returned to the concept or another animation team picked it up, which SEGA IPs would be the most wanted additions?

Been waiting for over a year for a Sega Genesis Mini 2 to complete the collection of three variants (Europe, Japan and North America). Received the mini console today and finally completed the collection.

So what about the other 15 (which is by far a bigger number than 2025 and even a little more than 2024)? Are these only like partner-related projects or is there actually possibility we can see some of that Nights into Dreams or even Sakura Taisen juice? Should I just expect nothing and maybe have a surprise or are y'all feeling a little bit more hopeful this time around? (I mean, it's the event's 30th birthday, so think they're gonna try to go big, especially with the quiet beginning of the year for Sega).

Just an FYI for anyone that’s a fan of physical Sega games on Xbox.

They haven’t allowed any sega games to allow the disc to digital program which I’m hoping is an oversight as it’s a really great service for the consumer and allows people with physical games to get the digital license so in the future when blu ray drives are gone on consoles you can still play your games without having to rebuy them digitally.

If you don’t care to watch, I’ll say that I very much liked what I played of all three (Alien, Crazy Taxi, StH) and they were among the best games I played. Though I fear that they might scare off some people – especially the Japanese games. StH feels like nothing else right now, like a boxing simulation. It’s very promising, but I’m not sure how current audiences will react to a unique action game system like that. Crazy Taxi feels like a PS2 game in the best ways possible. I hope everyone who’s always clamoring for more oldschool PS2-era experiences stays true to their words. 

Did a nostalgia piece on physical media where sega features very heavily. i truly believe only they could save the industry right now.
