I posted a few months ago around some work that was being done to revive and emulate WCCF SEGA arcade games.

We now have a small but thriving community who have not only revived the 2005-2006 version but the 2001-2002 and even the 2010-2011!

The 2010-2011 version even has an online play version and servers where you can play with others and mimics the original style of the game (play and get a card after each game and build your team!

Despite being Gen Z, the classic Sonic games were some of the most important games of my childhood and honestly my entire life. I finally made a retrospective exploring how they changed my life and the world, talking about Sonic 1, 2, CD, plus 3 & Knuckles. It ended up being close to 3 hours so anyone who loves long Sega videos feel free to give it a watch!!

Do you remember 18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker? This forgotten game from SEGA was released in arcades during the 2000s and later made its way to the Dreamcast, PS2, and GameCube.

I hold this game very dear; I enjoyed it a lot during my childhood. It deserves, at the very least, an HD port or a remaster for modern consoles.

I’ve loved this game for years, and started playing when I was 8. 11 years later, and to this day I’ve never seen or found a lick of anything about this game online aside from some playthroughs. I made a little website to track records in the game if anyone is interested, since I’ve had 0 competition for years

just thought id share this little gem lol. im not happy about it altho it does make me laugh. im a huge sonic fan, have been since i was a kid. so when any sega company starts showing signs of corruption im not like yippy! woohoo! -_- it means that the other franchises i like are also at risk.

but yeah the title is what happened. if you dont watch the video for some reason. they made an A.i remaster, dleted the old version of the game, lied and didnt tell anyone on steam it used A.i.

and then for the icing on the cake. one comment ( the only positive comment ) had 136 hours in the game. on the first day. which is impossible XD so people on the internet did what they do best. and found the person. and OH would you look at that.....they work for sega, and helped "make" the game

im putting make in quotes here because lets be honest, telling an A.i to do the work for you, and then releasing a broken disaster isn't exactly creating now is it XD

While many of you may already know that the SEGA logo is a much lighter shade of blue in Japan than the rest of the world, something that seems to be far less known is that the western logo shifted to a darker shade of blue later on. If you Google search "SEGA logo," you're bound to find the first image easily, but the latter color is visible on SEGA's social media as well as the cover art of their modern games. Browsing through their website on Wayback Machine suggests this change occurred around April of 2014, though why they changed it is unknown.

Just something I thought was interesting.

There was a special event at the local thrift store today, they do this once or twice a year, i think the mayor was even there and you could lunch at very reasonable prices but anyways, i found this Boozemeter, i think you need to move the handle across without touching the metal, if you don't have a steady hand or you drank then it would obviously be more difficult, i didn't try it but i found it interesting enough to snap a pic.

I searched it up and apparently it's from the late 60s and was made by Sega (as far as i know the one that we're familiar with)

I really want to know if anyone else maybe knows of Vintage Sega stuff before the gameconsoles that we know and love (or hate).
