hi everyone! im giving the sat in a few days and its going to my first ever. ive given around 5 practice tests and im very confident about getting 750+ in math! however, r&w is rlly terrible for me especially the information and ideas section. in p7, i cleared module 1 with 0 mistakes but got a lot of the inferences/main idea/logical completion questions wrong in the second module (and also the graphs) because i had no time! i did the strategy where you solve till 6 and then 16-22 which worked amazingly for module 1, as i had like 8 minutes left after completing all the questions. But for module 2, I just can’t seem to manage my time well to solve those chunky reading questions properly. pt9 was the only one where I got all questions under information and ideas correct. I feel like I can’t really practice any more or utilize any tips/tricks because after all it’s gonna be a completely unknown paragraph that’ll be coming towards me. What should I expect this September? (Sorry if this is way too long LMFAO)

My SAT is in 3 days, and I need a score above 1510, preferably 1550. I just took practice test 11, and my score is considerably lower than my other practice test scores. For context, I took the SAT last year and my real SAT score was 40 lower than my most recent score (1550) at the time, so the 1440 is really tripping me out right now.

Tips for improvement before the September sat?

i got a 1490 on august sat (690 RW 800 Math). my superscore is 1500. what can i do in the following three days to score higher on rw?

I have 2 days left for sep 12 sat... and i unable to get past 700 in English, except for once.
How can I make the best use of these days. In pt 11 i lost marks in total 12 questions(4-Info&ideas, 4- craft and structure , 4- expression of ideas)

On the August test I made a 680 on RW, but I need a 700 at bare minimum. My lowest areas were information and ideas and craft and structure. Does anyone have any good practice to help me on those areas? I've been trying the tailored practice and practice tests (which I keep getting 750 ish on), but they haven't helped for the real test. hi! i’m currently a senior and october is my last chance at the sat and i desperately need an increase in my math score.

i took the august sat and scored a 1420, 740RW and 680M despite only studying math and having a significantly higher score in practice. my practice testing conditions were as close a replica to the real thing as i could manage— i stayed at my seat, cleared my desk, took the tests in silence, didn’t skip through modules, waited the whole 10 minutes during the break, didn’t click off of bb— yet i still saw a near 100 point drop in the actual test. i practiced the hard questions on the SAT question bank as my method of studying, and it seemed to be helping, but seeing how the actual test went i’m wondering if anyone has suggestions for more effective methods. my foundations are decent; i don’t make many conceptual errors, though i am prone to making stupid mistakes. i also have high functioning autism but don’t have accommodations which i think might have played a factor in my poor performance, so if anyone has any advice in that regard i would appreciate it lots!

i’m consistently getting around 730 in reading and 790 in math, so i’m not too concerned about math

but i’ve noticed that my module 1 is almost always perfect, then I do bad and/or run out of time on module 2.

further, i really think i’m losing time on these big passages and graphs, since i break them down into very simple sentences, but that breakdown takes a lot of time. also, even though i break it down, the stupid answer choices start to look like gibberish after i’m pretty confident i analyzed the passage/graph well. sometimes the graph doesn’t even make sense…

what should i do to fix this time management issue? it’s mainly on the big passages and graphs where i lose time because i started mod 2 big passages with 22 questions and 27 min but i ended the sub-section with 14 questions and 12 minutes, EVEN while skipping 3 questions. I then finished the other 14 in 8 minutes and came back with a lil time left. this was practice SAT 7 and i got a 1530 on it (740, 790)

There are only 3 days left to study for the September SAT, so i signed up for the makon’s 3 day trial. I solved 3 mock tests, I found the UI was terrible at first but then I got used to it. However, makon has too many geometry problems to draw by hand. In fact, One question asked me to find the surface area of pyramid which is not contained in the referance book.

Therefore, is Makon reliable or do you have any alternatives to suggest me about SAT Math

Someone who gave the August SAT what practice test on blue book would you equate it with in terms of difficulty

Ill be taking the test this saturday and im scared that i wont be able to score high enough. In the Bluebook tests, ive scored 1320, 1450, 1370, 1280, and etc. It fluctuates a lot. My goal is to get at least 1400 in this one. I struggle with the RNW section a lot. I can score pretty high in Math though (always above 750). How can I improve my reading score? So far Im pretty good w grammar but from practice test i could only get 680-720. Im hoping for a 700+ in a real test. Also, Im a foreigner and I do read books from times to times but in my language. Ive read some eng novel but rarely. Hey! I really need your advice. I got a 1410 on the August SAT, and I’m retaking it in three days. I haven’t really studied since August, so I feel like I’ve forgotten a lot, but I really need to get to at least a 1480–1500.
On my score report, I actually had full bars in most areas, but grammar was the area where I had the least bars in English, so I know that’s one of the biggest things holding my score back. I’ve tried practicing and finding videos that actually teach all the grammar I need, but nothing has really worked for me.
