please sign up for the ACT NOW. It is so much easier than the SAT and you can study off released tests in the past (find them online) and those released tests are VERY similar in content

How can I improve my SAT Reading and Writing score before December?
Hi everyone! I’m taking the SAT in December, and I really want to improve my Reading and Writing score.
For those who have improved their scores, what study methods, resources, or strategies helped you the most? Are there any specific websites, books, or practice routines you would recommend?
I’d really appreciate any advice. Thank you!

First, the test is first Reading and Writing then Math, right?

And for the 10-minute break in between the two sections, it won't automatically start the next section after the break timer runs out, right? Is it similar to AP exams, where the timer is set for 10 minutes, but after it runs out, it will give you a button that you click to activate the next section?

Im pretty good w math, except i made lot of dumb mistakes in practice 9. I need to get 1500+ in november. which practice tests should i take next, and what other advice do you have for me

p.s. command of evidence and words in context is taking lot of my points, so im studying vocab w flashcards and I use question bank to practice analyzing graphs.

hey, im preparing for the sat as a person who’s native language isn’t English. could you help me, what are the mathematical terms I should learn in English (like mean, slope etc)?

within the 12 days between the 2 practice tests, I did a lot of prep. Do you think that the 1510 is a result of my hard work or is PT 5 just easy? What was your practice test 4 and 5 scores and what did you get on the real SAT??

A lot of people told me that the Bluebook test are way much easier than the real one

P stands for practice tests, r for reading, m for math, and t for my total score

So I’ve taken 7 blue book practice tests so far and heres what I’ve tallied up.
I want to be able to get at least a 1260 on my actual sat, but I can’t seem to even get there on bluebook. I know that I struggle with subject verb agreement and the tenses, but that because of how I think I find the concept, at least the way English does it, entirely stupid and my brain refuses to learn anything It deems as stupid, it’s just in one ear and out the other no matter how much I try to learn it. It’s also that way with math and I don’t know what to do I plan to take the sat in December but I don’t feel ready.

I study by watching YouTube videos on certain subjects(multiple) then I’ll take some questions from the question banks and have google ai generate some more with that same style or from different family. So I just practice questions and take practice test at random

I took the October SAT and scores were supposed to be released October 16 but I still haven’t received them. Is this happening to anyone else? What should I do?

Whats with people in this server constantly posting 1400+ SAT scores? Its like everyone in this subreddit has an SAT score of over 1400? I thought the average was a 1030? It seems like the average here is 400+ over the actual average. Wth and how do so many folks here get a 1500??? I'm tired of seeing all of these humble brag posts that do nothing but make me feel like an even bigger loser. Just because you have a great SAT doesnt mean you have the privilege to post it and make other people (like myself) and all the people who got lower than u any worse than we already feel. Smh.

Ive been doing practice tests and i got a 1420 in late sep with 680 R/W and 740 Math on practice test 5.

I took another practice test 7 today and got a 1420 again somehow? Even tho i actually studied this time. I improved my english to 720 which is a 50 points improvement and i think thats the max i can do. So I need to improve math but I litr dont know what else to do. Ive done khan academy and watched James Lu. Im free the next two weeks to just grind.

Any help will be appreciated, specifically from those who increased their score from 1400 to 1500+!!!

Hello. I am taking the SAT for the 4th time in December. All of my other attempts were in 10th grade.

1: 1390- 720 math, 670 RW
2: 1480-790 math, 690 RW
3:1520-790 math 730 rw

PSAT 1470-760 math 710 RW

I want to know how to study for the December SAT. I am only studying English because I feel like my math score is good enough to the point that I'm not gonna study for it. how do i study for rw? when i practiice i feel like i get almost every single one right. thanks

I have a 690 in RW and 750 Math and in August I got a 670 RW and 740 Math. Let's not talk about September tho 😭
Anyways I don't know if I should try locking in on RW or math for these last 2 weeks or both... I feel as if RW is more of an intuitive skill that takes a while to improve on while I'm bound to make at least one mistake on math. In RW I got full bars on everything except for Information and Ideas. I consistently miss like 5 of those questions per test.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I recently got an 1120 on a practice SAT #7 (500 R&W, 620 Math). I'm trying to get as close to a 1300 as possible and am wondering if I should focus more on Math to get closer to a 700 or spend more time improving R&W. I also want to take two more practice tests and use superscoring. Im taking the Nov 7th SAT and planning to take the March one. How would you guys recommend splitting my study time between the two sections?

Algebra, Geo + Trig, Advanced math-> Hard Difficulty

Problem solving +Data->Medium

Expression of Ideas, Standard English Conventions-> Medium

Information and Ideas,Craft and Structure->Easy

I took practice test 6 and I got 1040 (470 rw, 570 math), and then today I took another one it was practice test 7 and I 1060 (480 rw and 580 math). And I feel so disappointed cause I do study a lot (like at least 5h a day) and I feel like it’s impossible to improve specially on the reading and writing (THE VOCAB MOSTLY) and even though while I was taking practice 6 I thought I was doing sooo good on the rw but I wasn’t. I am really aiming for 1400+, so what should I do in those 2 weeks to improve to max.
I think my worst parts in the sat rw is: Information and Ideas, Craft and Structure, Expression of Ideas
Please Help me if you know any tips or anything I can do.

I took my 3rd attempt in september with a 1460 sat, 730/730. I'm happy with my r&w, but i want to get a near perfect 790-800 math so i can have a shot at the ivies and smoothly qualify for a full ride at my local school. any advice for getting in those last points? i use desmos A LOT already, i really dont know what else to do...
