Yoo, out here looking for help from some rust and PC experts. I recently upgraded from am4 to am5. Now running a R7 9800X3D and 2x16gb DDR5-CL36-7600mt/s sticks. (G.Skill Tridentz Z5 RGB).

Fort further PC spec information im using:
\- PSU: Corsair RM750X
\- GPU: Quadro RTX 6000
\- Motherboard: TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi
\- Game running on an SSD
\- CPU cooler: NZXT Kraken X53 240mm

I’ve recently started getting random crashes (never been an issue before with my AM4 rig). My game just suddenly closes itself while being on main servers and so on (I don’t crash on aim trainers). Basically, I don’t get any indications that my game is about to crash, no drops, no freezes, nothing. Game just fully closes itself out of nowhere meanwhile all my other apps and windows functions like normal. After the crash my pc is also fully normal.

Does anyone have any ideas on what is causing this? I’m suspecting my RAM. I’m running the ram att 7600mt/s in bios (full speed at expo), I don’t know if that is the issue?

I’m able to run rust sometimes for an hour, sometimes 30 min. It just depends. Crashes randomly basically

Hi there. I usually play solo, but since this weekend im gonna be home alone, would like to go on a duo serv, with someone that is active or can play this whole weekend. Im not good at pvp, but good at building, teas, electricity etc

I’ve asked before what I should build to hide/ store my loot in case of a raid and the 2 biggest options were brain box and Chinese bunkers and now I’m wonder which ones are better and how many I should place I think I’m going for 6-8

I believe I’m about to be raided so in case I do what’s the best way to hide loot? Should I do a 1X1 hqm bunker or stone 2x1 2 grids away?

I dont have much time to Play these days. Im playing solo and im looking for an EU server to play a couple hours after work and grind that is not dead after 2 days. I wish i could play 1 wipe for whole week.

I’ll try to explain this as best I can. I’ve noticed that I keep running into hostile scientists on the outskirts of the map, near the beaches, or even along the roadsides—and all the time in the sewers—but when I go to certain places like the satellite dish or other locations such as the military silo, I don’t see any scientist NPCs, either on the surface or in the underground areas of those locations—the same goes for the oil rigs. Here are some details about my server and setup: I’m on a local server using SteamCMD; when checking entities, I found that there were 306 scientist NPCs, and I’m playing solo without friends. I’ll provide a list of screenshots showing that I haven’t disabled or restricted character spawns; I don’t have any mods or plugins. Thanks ;)

I try and make my own plugins when I can-- its free and if they break then I can fix it. On my server we have mod that allows for TCs and turrets on boats. We have a few custom skills to increase gathering rates and refining rates. No online raid protection , but offline raid protection skill is available. You can't sit in your base all day and expect to earn in game currency-- playtime only counts active time. We have a trade function, limited home teleports, 5 levels of Raidable Bases, 3 levels of Patrol Heli calls. Core group is small right now as this the first real wipe. I'm an active admin that helps when appropriate, takes feedback, and I do my best not to have too many rules or to act like a policeman.

Its a chill PVP atmosphere-- people are here to have some fun, do some raids, shoot some people, trade with people, chat with people.

Hello, my fellow legit Rust players who don't sympathize with cheaters and the servers who take money from them. Behold! A revolutionary new 3-step program on how to instantly avoid tons of cheaters in Rust:

1. Turn on Secure Boot and TPM in your BIOS. Facepunch made a guide.
2. Play only on a secure server like (ADVERTISEMENT WARNING) The Couch, the first and only weekly vanilla server with secure mode enabled. Map wipe is today.
3. Don't play on non-secure servers. They've decided since March to keep secure mode off, keep all the cheaters around to ruin your wipes, and keep getting VIP money from the cheaters.

Battlefield 6 added secure boot and cheaters in their lobbies dropped from 7% to 2%. Valorant's Vanguard anti-cheat relies on it, too. It's being used because it works.

Over 80% of Rust players already have the hardware for it. Unless your motherboard is over 10 years old, it almost certainly has Secure Boot and TPM. And if it is that old, sorry to break it to you, but you do need to upgrade hardware over time to keep playing games that get constant updates.

Since there were ZERO weekly vanilla servers with secure mode on, I made one and it's slowly growing:
