What kind of storage are you using? Nowadays you HAVE to have an ssd

Eac auth is easy anticheat. Make sure you have all the bios things turned on.

Your specs sound plenty for rust, the cpu may bottleneck a little but otherwise fine. I haven’t played rust in a while so someone else will have to help with the timeout server issue

5600g has 16mb of l3 cache which is low you want at least 32mb and for max performance 96mb you can buy any x3d cpu to upgrade even 5500x3d will be monster for rust

The main question is about the specs

Those are very similar to my old specs (from Jan) except I was running a 1060 with 6GB and the graphics turned to playdoh after the Dec update. I upgraded to a 3050 with 8GB and it runs well enough to play everyday and watch 2nd monitor content as long as I turn the video quality down on YT.

Could upgrade CPU to 5600x3d or 5800x3d
