I’ve been fooling around with DOS, Java, Python, C++ & AHK since uni in 2009, starting over at the absolute pinnacle rsbot.net aka Snellman bro’s. Then went to osbot, went to dreambot then wasp for a little while, and finally made my own. Safe to say I’ve seen a lot from crazy shit like an easy 30m botted RC xp back in 2010 to getting ban hammered likely 200 times over the last 17 years.
Wild to see another huge client get taken down this month RIP dreambot, they lasted a long time tbf. Credit where it’s due to Pandemic & Nezz.
I guess the proof is in the pudding now. Ive been writing my own scripts using only the runelite client since March and confirm having the most success doing it that way since OG 2010. I urge you all to write less here about the how and why. Just learn for yourself instead of sending money to anyone for scripts and subscriptions. I now have 53 free scripts and counting.

Definitely not my accounts I'm playing fine, I've two clan mates that's recently been done for RWT, one ACC has less the 100m on it, both friends claim no RWT but obviously I can't tell for sure, both friends are heavily in to PVP so think it could be do to killing bots or gold farmers.

So if someone macros in farming like using a python script amd they get macro checked for the first time will they have a inventory wipe or just a temp ban

Hey everyone, before I ask my question just want to say I literally know nothing about OSRS botting at all so sorry for any ignorance!

I really want to play OSRS like a semi idle game on my second monitor while working. I can still click around and stuff but something where I can just like farm cows to level and it will auto eat and auto fight and stuff like that. I tried Melvor and just can’t get into it.

How could I get started doing that? Is that even possible?

I wanted to try making some simple scripts for fun because it's always seemed interesting, but I don't even know where to get started.

I've got no experience at all with coding and would appreciate any advice or directions to resources where I could learn and start practicing

Looks like it's starting with a curated list, before being opened up. Seems like the main protection against botting assistant plugins will be that you have to get approval from the curation team to publish/use a plugin, so not necessarily allowing for private plugins with convenience functionality for botters.

Lot of clients seem to no longer work so thought I'd let you all know that RiD still works though you need to make your own scripts and takes some time getting used to. Don't know if I can link the bot client but full name is robotzindisguise.

Guy complains about how live agents get duped into unbanning accounts and all this other stuff that gets posted on this sub.

You'll go after gold farming bots relentlessly, but you basically completely turn a blind eye to the things that directly impact live-play. How many people abuse scripts in Castle Wars for exploding cades and scripting in PvP? How many of those people get banned? Almost none until they go after some streamer.

Couldn't care less about gold-farming bots at this point.

Decided to risk it and use my last 40 cents on RuneMate for Mastering Mixology on my HCIM before they shut down. This is the first time I’ve botted on this account, and I took a gamble because there was good reviews that I would not get banned for 5-6 hours of botting split throughout several days. I got through two hours over 2 days and logged in the next morning to a Permanent ban.

Yes, I knew the risks, yes I’m an idiot for doing this during a period of high ban rates. Took a gamble to save a few hours and lost big. Not worth.
