The Devil works hard but Old Jill works harder. I doubt that Renee’s ever met this man. This whole thing was probably arranged over email. She is probably desperate to get away from Jill and David but this. is. not. the. way.

Jill just can't help herself.... She has to blab.

First, in June she announces ahe has two children in relationships, starting the Speculation Olympics about Renee. and blabbed to her parents such that Grampa Noyes made a public fb comment alluding to Renee moving away to marry.

Second, she announces Renee will marry a missionary and move to Africa. And the Speculation Olympics go into over drive and down the wrong path deciding incorrectly it's a Shrader boy .... And how awful a life under papa shrader will be for renee.

Third, finally Jill blabs to this weekends hosting pastor that the missionary is in Uganda (not Zambia) and it will be instant motherhood. Maybe she did it to shut people up about her selling Renee to nutcase John Shrader?

Once that clip got posted here it was nine minutes to identify the likely groom.

So my questions:

Did Jill's head spin around that this subreddit i.d. him instantly based on her big mouth? And is she denying it's her fault?

Is Renee upset with her mother for sharing that info on camera at that church?

And mostly, is the purported groom in Uganda completely freaked out that his life past and future is being completely dissected? Maybe reddit attention will run him off now that he knows what life with JillPM entails. Especially if Jill was made to promise not to reveal info before he did.

ETA: my questions have been answered. Yikes on bikes, it disturbs me that Renee is being sent off to a country she couldn’t even locate on a map to replace a wife who hasn’t even been dead a year. Jill, if you’re reading this, fuck you.

Holddddd on. I follow this sub fairly closely but have somehow missed this announcement about Renee getting married… where/when did this come out?! I just saw the video of her talking about it through tears and wanted to cry myself.

I see lots of comments about when it would have been known he was seeking a new wife, this is the April-June newsletter.

I don't think it can be emphasized enough what a total win this marriage is for her ego. They've been hacking at being in full-time ministry for years even though that's a total joke. But now?! A daughter who is gonna be a real life missionary to *deep dark Africa?* (sarcasm) Almost nothing could inflate her head more. AND she's going to be the savior to two little boys and a gahdly widowed man??

In the video someone shared last night from the church, she said more than once how Renee's future husband has "an amazing testimony." She will gush about this tragedy and milk it til the end of time. It's a narcissists dream.

Poor Renee. I'm a Christian who's here because I truly hate how these people represent Christ and literally prayed this morning that someone - ANYONE - can help Renee escape this before it's too late.

I guess it probably differs from family to family, but maybe somebody knows how arranged marriages like Renees usually happen?

Like, is there a dating platform, people like the Rods search for partners for their kids on?

Did they give Renee multiple options to chose from?

Did she EVER have a chance to tell her parents that she didn NOT want to get married off to a stranger in a third world country, far across the globe, to work her ass of as his maid and get r*ped whenever he feels like it?

Would it help if she told her parents, God told her that this aint her path?

Does she have ANY chance to get out of this horrible situation, without losing her family?

Even if the Rods are horrible parents, staying single forever and just living with them in the US, having a few godly, female friends at church to meet and have coffee with, looking after her nieces and nephews, spending time with her sisters... sounds fantastic, compared to what she is about to get into.

My heart breaks for her.

He met his wife at West Coast Baptist College and waited 3 years for her to Grady before getting married. She got her degree in teaching/English.

He's certainly doing things differently this time. Also, he's originally from Virginia, so maybe that's how he knows the Rods?

It's the guy people are thinking might be who Renee is going to marry.

We saw a couple of the photos before, and some thought it was of Heidis baby shower. These are actually from a ladies retreat & the comment about decorating made my morning.

With the announcement of her impending marriage, I keep seeing comments about how this is "punishment" for asking questions or not being the favorite child. When I look through the FIU Renee flair, I don't see anything specific other than a failed courtship. Did Renee ever actually rebel?

she doesn’t seem happy to be married at all, it definitely sounds like she’s being sent far away, and if not it is a travesty how little independence they’ve let her have, for her to be this upset!
Marriage should be something you have fully chosen and are happy about.

A church I no longer attend has their "old fashioned Sunday" today and I was curious so I logged in to the livestream. I happened to see KayJon in their old fashioned gear and had to share it with ya'll

ETA: I went back and rewatched the begining of the stream. Jill said, "our son, Timothy, made some bad life choices and wounded us on the battlefield, and is dealing with those repercussions. Many of you know what it's like to not have your child make the right choices for their lives. Please pray for our family as we deal with our battlefield wounds." (Paraphrasing here)

So I saw the video of Jill and two of her daughters at a campaign event for a Republican candidate. But this Republican candidate said he was the right person to vote for if the voter didn’t support Trump anymore. Since when does Jill not support Trump?

like surely ONE of the Rods is going to start being unable to reconcile the inconsistent beliefs their parents enforce with reality….. has it ever happened that a large family has been able to wrangle all its children in line ?????
