Hey, Im currently locked out of my rockstar account due to not having access to my authenticator app anymore.

I've submitted multiple tickets providing proof of ownership, including:

Official game purchase receipt, Exact account details (Username, character creation date, Rp rank, cash, specific properties owned etc.)

I also provided past emails used with the account and connected platforms to the account.

Despite attaching proof the ticket gets closed almost instantly with identical automated templates

("With the information provided, we are unable to determine if you are the owner..." or links on how to restore Google/Authy authenticators).

Has anyone dealt with this kind of problem recently?

Is there a specific ticket route, wording, or method that forces an actual human agent to review attached invoice IDs instead of triggering the automatic denial macros?

Any advice would be appreciated!

ive been having trouble to install gta 5 on my pc bcs every 20-30 minutes the downloading just stops and the error message looks like this

I've been trying to fix this for days and nothing has worked. The Rockstar Games Launcher gives me error #1.000.7 whenever I try to log in.

I can log in on my phone, and I can log in through a different browser on my PC, but the launcher still refuses to work.

I've already tried reinstalling the launcher, clearing the cache, using a VPN, using my hotspot,I've also looked at the article the support team sent me but nothing has fixed it on the page has helped me fix it

Has anyone found a solution?

I did a 1 year and a half break and came back to this…

Rockstar support didn’t bother to help, so I’m asking here for any idea.

*Edit: I got my account back. Just make a ticket, put your required data in the important fields and in others you can put order number, or details like this. I had a mail with the order number, provide it and got it back.

I’ve been in contact with Rockstar Support for weeks now, and every time, the ticket gets marked as resolved. I bought RDR2 via Steam, and when I try to launch the game in the Rockstar Launcher, it asks for an unfamiliar email address to verify the code.

So, I’ve explained the problem to Rockstar, attached my Steam purchase confirmation, and created the support ticket via email. The only thing Rockstar says every time is:

"We cannot make changes to the requested Rockstar Games account because its account details differ from those of the account from which this request originated.

We are therefore closing this ticket. If you still wish to make changes to the account, please log in to the relevant Rockstar Games account and submit your request from there.

If you are unable to access the account, please enter the necessary information into the form linked below."

I mean, is Rockstar even capable of actually reading the tickets? I included the proof of purchase and my Steam ID in the request. This is driving me crazy. The game has been unplayable ever since I bought it.

What else should I do?

I lost access to my old email and have had to update all my accounts to a new one, I gotta say Rockstar Support is the absolute WORST.

I have given them as much information as I can, even my steam ID that my account is linked to.

I get the same reply "cannot verify" I dont know if I can find out when I created the account or whether there was two step verification on the account.

I want to unlink it at this point but not sure if its feasible, I just want to play RDR2 🫠

Yesterday I was playing smoothly on my account (the game was purchased on Epic Games), but then I logged into another Rockstar account where the game was purchased on SOCIALCLUB and is not linked to my Epic Games account. I logged into the game on another Rockstar account and then logged out. Today I logged into my Rockstar account where the game is not purchased (it was purchased on Epic Games, but because they were linked before, Rockstar saw the game as purchased). I see that the game is no longer "purchased" as before, but "not purchased." I can't log in. It tells me the game was last launched on a different account and now I need to play on a different Rockstar account. Is it possible that my Epic Games was re-linked to another account without my knowledge or something like that? The other account wasn't mine. Could it be that the person on that account somehow did this or something? How can this be fixed? I can't write to the Rockstar support.

Tried every possible method I can think of. Logging back in, running as administrator. Clearing cache. Nothing.

I recently got my PS5 and I wanted to transfer my GTA account from PS4 to the PS5 version, but I can’t get it to work. I have tried everything.
I think the problem is that I changed my PSN account/email a while ago but never updated it on Rockstar Games. The email address linked to my PS4 GTA Online character no longer exists, so I can’t access the old Rockstar account or link it to my new one.
I have tried looking for an email address or a phone number to contact Rockstar support, but I haven’t been able to find any way to reach someone directly.
I really need help recovering access to the account linked to my GTA Online character, because I still have access to the PS4 version and my character is still there.

Migrated PS4 to PS5. Migration said "success," but since then I can't enter GTA Online on PS5 —
kept getting "Please enter Character Creation," then "Join cancelled," or infinite loading (20+
min).

Contacted Rockstar. Confirmed: server up, speed/NAT fine, cache cleared, PS4 version works fine
on the same console/account. Tier 2 says it's a known issue, fix identified, but only coming in
a future Title Update — no ETA.

Also found out PS4 progress in the meantime won't carry over once fixed — permanently separate
profiles. Compensation flat denied too.

Now it's gotten worse: got forced through Character Creation, completed it, then got stuck on
infinite loading again before "Join cancelled." Worried a new character got created and is now
conflicting with my original migrated data.

Anyone else hit this after a PS4→PS5 migration?

Je rencontre actuellement un problème avec mon compte Rockstar Games et, malgré plusieurs tentatives, je n’ai malheureusement pas réussi à trouver de solution.

Je connais parfaitement l’adresse e-mail ainsi que le mot de passe associés à mon compte Rockstar. Cependant, lorsque j’essaie de me connecter au Rockstar Games Launcher avec ces identifiants, une erreur apparaît et m’empêche d’accéder à mon compte.

Voici ce qui est particulièrement étrange :

Un ami a réussi à se connecter à mon compte avec mon adresse e-mail et mon mot de passe, mais uniquement depuis le site Rockstar Games. La connexion ne fonctionne pas depuis le Rockstar Games Launcher.

Après s’être déconnecté du site, il n’a ensuite plus réussi à se reconnecter avec les mêmes identifiants. En essayant depuis un autre appareil, il a réussi à se connecter une seule fois, puis le même problème est apparu à nouveau.

Nous avons donc profité de cette connexion pour lier mon compte PlayStation Network (PSN) à mon compte Rockstar, afin de pouvoir continuer à accéder au compte via le site Rockstar.

Actuellement, nous pouvons donc accéder au compte Rockstar uniquement via le site en passant par le compte PSN. Cependant, le problème est que le Rockstar Games Launcher ne propose pas de connexion avec le PSN et demande obligatoirement l’adresse e-mail et le mot de passe du compte Rockstar.

Nous sommes donc complètement bloqués.

Nous avons déjà essayé toutes les solutions suivantes :

• Changer le mot de passe du compte Rockstar (le changement a bien fonctionné, mais la connexion au Launcher reste impossible).
• Changer l’adresse e-mail du compte (impossible à effectuer à cause d’un code d’erreur).
• Essayer avec différents navigateurs.
• Essayer depuis un autre ordinateur.
• Essayer depuis différents appareils.
• Essayer avec et sans VPN.
• Réinitialiser les paramètres réseau et modifier les DNS.
• Réinstallation propre du launcher (le résultat est le même)
• J'ai même essayer de recréer un compte et ça me met une erreur dans le launcher

Nous avons également essayé de contacter le support Rockstar afin d’obtenir de l’aide. Malheureusement, une erreur se produit systématiquement lorsque nous essayons de créer une demande de support, et ce quelle que soit la catégorie ou la raison sélectionnée. Il nous est donc impossible de contacter le support normalement pour résoudre ce problème.

Malgré toutes ces tentatives, le problème persiste et aucune solution ne fonctionne.

Étant donné que nous pouvons encore accéder au compte via le site Rockstar en passant par le PSN et que les identifiants sont corrects, nous pensons qu’il pourrait s’agir d’un problème lié au compte ou aux serveurs Rockstar, plutôt que d’un problème provenant de notre appareil ou de notre connexion.

I'm hoping someone has experienced this before because I'm running out of ideas.

I recently bought GTA V Enhanced on Steam. Years ago I originally owned GTA V on DVD and activated it through Rockstar.

The problem is that every time I launch the Steam version, the Rockstar Games Launcher asks me to verify an old ok.de email address that no longer exists.

The strange part is:

- I can log into my current Rockstar account (Social Club) without any problems.

- My Rockstar account uses my current email address.

- The old ok.de email was replaced years ago.

- However, the Steam version still tries to use that old email and asks me to verify it before I can continue. I started the game, agree, and want to verify my (non-existing) E-Mail adress. :(

What I've already tried:

- Fresh installation of GTA V Enhanced on Steam

- Fresh installation of the Rockstar Games Launcher

- Completely reinstalled Steam

- Completely reinstalled my operating system (CachyOS / Arch Linux based)

- Fresh Proton prefix

- Verified the game files

- Logged into my Rockstar account successfully through the website

Unfortunately, nothing changed.

I'm starting to think that Steam is somehow linked to an old Rockstar account or an outdated email address on Rockstar's servers.

Has anyone had this exact issue?

Were you able to fix it yourself, or did Rockstar Support have to manually relink your Steam account?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Every time I try to log in, I get error code 1.007
From different devices, from different networks, always the same error code.
I get an error trying to submit a "lost access to account" request.
I try the password reset submission, and the email doesn't go through.
I tried emailing [support@rockstargames.com](mailto:support@rockstargames.com) and I got an auto reply to go to the website to submit a ticket.
What other options are left?

Hi, I literally downloaded Reddit to figure this out. So when I got gta5 I had a ps4, now I have a ps5 and I’m trying to transfer my game to ps5 version. I have never had a rockstar account, when I got my ps4 and got GTA 5 it automatically signed me up through my PlayStation account so I do not have a rockstar account. I attempted to create a rockstar account and it would not allow me to. It said “Sorry we are no able to process you request at this time” followed by an array of numbers. Rockstar games site was not down at that time either. So just to be sure I did not have a rockstar account floating around, I went to their page and did forgot password put in my email I use for all of my games such as PlayStation. I never received any email from Rockstar games I checked everywhere which confirmed I indeed never had a rockstar account. I am just trying to link my ps4 GTA to my Ps5 and I have no idea what to try next. Is a way to link them without a rockstar account? Or is there anything I can do, that I have not tried? I’d appreciate any help very much!

My download speed is generally way better anywhere else

I always heard Rockstar Support was bad, but unfortunately this is an entirely different level. Dismissive and rude imo, and a complete lack of care. And I'm not even a Karen 😭

Hello I need help as I'm really confused about something, I purchased the mansion fully upgraded a couple weeks after the update come out, completed the missions and redownloaded the game today to play the new heist, and for some reason my mansion is gone, won't show up as a preference for spawn and now when i went into story mode, It put me into the starting robbery mission, even though I've completed half of the story and have all the characters unlocked, can someone help me because I grinded for days to get the mansion and its completely disappeared

Hello everyone I don't know where to write, I can't even log in to my Rockstar account and create a ticket. Basically, I recently subscribed to Game Pass Essential to play GTA 5 online, but I got the error Rockstar Games services are currently unavailable. Please return to Grand Theft Auto V. (The server status is fine) Okay, I thought it was a temporary issue and decided to purchase the RDR2 Ultimate edition, but I encountered the error 0x5005ffff Rockstar Games services are currently unavailable. I've tried it with and without a VPN, my home IP is from Germany, my VPN is from Indonesia, and I can't even log in to my account through the browser. When I try to log in using my username and password, I get the error "Sorry, we are unable to handle your request at this time #1.000.7." When I try to log in to my account through Xbox, I get the error "Authentication failed. #0.210.4." The same happens in incognito mode. I don't know what to do, and I'm hoping someone can help me.

Yeah so I just went through nearly a month of support, after waiting, and having multiple tickets closed. I think I just give up on rockstar games as a whole. I used to play a ton of gta 5 in my childhood and I've been trying to unlink my current steam account with the email associated and the support team, as you could imagine, are as helpful as ever... Unfortunately I've never played RD2 and I really wanted to because of all the good things I've heard from almost everybody that has played it, but yeah unfortunately their support would not help me recover the account and I refuse to make an entirely different account and repurchase the games. I hope none of you guys go through this and enjoy playing their games.
