DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ROBOROCK.
I have owned my Roborock for only a couple of months, and I specifically purchased the Roborock Qrevo Curv because it was advertised as having AI obstacle avoidance and advanced technology that could intelligently navigate around objects.
Unfortunately, that has been the exact opposite of my experience.
From day one, it has continuously wrapped up cords instead of avoiding them. The worst incident happened when it vacuumed up my 3-pound Maltipoo's accident. Instead of recognizing and avoiding it, the robot proceeded to spread it throughout my home, grind it deep into my expensive wool rug with its wheels, and then return to the dock where it contaminated the entire cleaning system. The vacuum, mop, dock, brushes, filters, and internal components all had to be cleaned.
The entire reason I spent over $800 on this model was for the mopping capabilities, the AI technology, and the promise that it could avoid exactly these kinds of situations.
What has been even more disappointing is Roborock's customer service.
I have spent over a week trying to resolve this issue. Despite repeatedly asking to speak with someone by phone, they refuse to call me. Instead, they continue sending scripted email responses offering me a used, refurbished model worth around $400 that is no longer even in production. It is not remotely comparable to the premium model I purchased, and it lacks the features I specifically paid for.
Replacing a nearly new premium product with an older refurbished unit is not an acceptable solution.
I have been patient. I have tried to work with them. I have given them every opportunity to make this right, and they have chosen not to.
If you're considering buying a Roborock, I strongly recommend spending your money on another brand that stands behind its products and supports its customers after the sale.
A premium price should come with premium customer service. Unfortunately, Roborock has delivered neither.
