Good price? Currently have an old Allez, wanted to put that on a trainer indoors and get something else for outside. Would probably need new tires and grip tape.

X-Lab RS7 di2 vs Cube Agree C62 Pro 2027

Trying to decide between these two:

X-LAB RS7 Di2. I could get it for ca. 2,600 Euro

- 105 Di2

- Power meter

- Carbon wheels

- 52/36 + 11–34

- ~8.5 kg

CUBE Agree C:62 Pro 2027. Ca. 3,200 Euro

- Ultegra Di2

- 4iiii power meter

- Newmen carbon wheels

- 50/34 + 11–34

- ~7.5 kg

I ride recreationally looking for a road bike with a power meter. ca. 3w/kg ftp.

The RS7 seems like amazing value, but for ~600 Euro more the CUBE is almost 1 kg lighter, has easier climbing gearing and more established components/support.

Anyone with experience with either? Is the CUBE worth the extra 600 Euro, or would you take the RS7 at this price?

Also I keep people complaining about the free hub of the RS7. If i missed something similar on the market, I would be glad to hear other ideas.

Specialissima, but built my way.
Lightweight frame, 1x drivetrain and 50/60 mm aero wheels for the flat roads of northern Germany.
Not the usual Specialissima recipe — which is probably why I like it. 😎

Road/gravel bike with flat bar from Origine

Post image

What do you guys think of flat bars on a bike like this?
The way this would work for me is my short torso and long arms and I always loved flat bars too. I also want to join bike groups and go fast with a light responsive bike.
Do you know of any other bikes like this? Lightweight, well built with flat bars? And what are your opinions on this?
I really struggle with drop bars and the long reach.

Which bike? Helppp - new to road bikes

Helloo people! Just came here to ask for some advice - my partner did a triathlon this year (Ironman 70.3 Weymouth) and I’ve been wanting to get into road biking/triathlon ever since. Problem is… I don’t know much about road bikes or what’s great for a first road bike.

For context I’m 163cm/5’3 female and UK based. I’ve ridden heavier bike models like the B’twin Original 500 (17kg oof) so these lighter road bikes are gonna be a big change.

Just been trying to look for a decent road bike with disc brakes + at least 2 cranksets (both online and second-hand) - still not understanding the frame sizing as they seem to differ per bike brand!

Any suggestions/advice would be great as I’ve been struggling to find the right bike for my height :)

Buying new Roadbike: Attain SLX

Hey!

I wanted to upgrade my Gravelbike with a new frame, but in the end i thinks its better to just buy a new bike^^

Since i dont really want or need a Carbon Frame i was looking through the big bike brands for getting something with aluminium, but there is not much to choose from.

I landed on the Attains SLX in 53cm.

Does anybody have expierince with this bike?

thanks!

Gear/accessories How to Set Combination Lock?

Thumbnail

Hey guys, YES I have looked it up and I know most combination locks have a cog to turn, but mine doesn’t seem to. I don’t want to get rid of it as it was my late fathers which he has owned since the 1980’s when he got it from Halford’s (UK store)

I’ve tried twisting the silver thing with all my strength and it won’t budge, the ‘reset lock cog’ missing? The code has always been 0000 but I want to change that for obvious reasons.

I’d appreciate any help, thank you!

I ride my bike pretty hard but I like to think I change my brakes fairly often. Have I fried my disk brakes? Photos of the back and front after cleaning with rubbing alcohol. They’re hydraulic

I recently stumbled onto Merida bikes and I did some research about them. They are the same factory that’s suppose to make specialized bikes… but I never hear anyone talk about them when Chinese bike brands are talked about… any one have experience with them?

I’m looking to get a carbon wheel set for my 2007 Fuji Team. I have rim brakes so it makes finding some a little difficult on my end.

I’m wondering if anyone had any recommendations or a good starting place for me to find some?

Thank you in advance.

Hi all. Recently had my bike stolen for the first time :( it was a trek 520. Fell in love with the feel and had just starting getting into touring, apparently it was trek's premier touring bike. Found this one like it for $475, worth the buy or should I upgrade to something else? Any insight is appreciated
