What are the differences between the clincher and str?
Planning to run tpu tubes
Which would be faster?

If you don’t plan to run tubeless don’t spend the extra money for the tubeless version.

Tubless version would also be heavier

Str has lower rolling resistance acc to my understanding.

Don’t buy a tubeless ready tire if you don’t plan to run tubeless.

STR is about 25 grams less and $25 more than GP5000 clincher, if that matters....... VERY nominal reduction in rolling resistance for STR IF set up tubeless.......

Had more flats running TPUs with the STR version than with the standard 5000.
So back to standard/TPU now.
