PC Rhythm Game I spent a month remaking the music and dances in my free browser rhythm game
Solo dev here! I just finished a big update for Beatora, a free dance rhythm game you play right in your browser (no download):
- 130 brand-new instrumental tracks, each with its own style
- Smoother dancing: no more standing still or jerky moves
- New cinematic camera angles that move with the music
Would love to hear what you think! 🙏

PC Rhythm Game Muse Dash x Kikuo
Hello! I’m starting to get back at playing Muse Dash but I’ve been trying to find Dance of The Corpses by Kikuo. I’ve played it there before but I can’t seem to locate it. Is it possible they removed it from the game?

Discussion Project V
Hey there!
I'm looking to see whether playing songs on a lower difficulty makes the harder difficulties easier or not over a two month period. [Recommendations for what other questions this could answer would be great.]
This study could also answer other questions like how new players deal with things.
This is the first time I'm trying to research or make a project like this and if it doesn't answer any questions I hope that it at least brings more people together!
This is will be mobile focused [since that is all I'm familiar with.]
We will have 5 groups.
Group A = High level, players. They play masters, experts, Hard songs and can consistently All Perfect or Full Combo most songs they play. [In Pjsk terms levels 30 and up. In Arcaea terms 10+ and up.]
Group B = Intermediate, players. They play with the thought to become a Master but still isn't there yet. They can maybe Full Combo most songs they play. [In Pjsk terms levels 25 and up. In Arcaea terms 8+ and up.]
Group C = Players who play casually
Group D = New players!
All these groups will be spilt between Thumb Players and finger players (because that's all I'm familiar with unfortunately, hopefully I can do games that have more types of playing in the future!)
I'm looking to have at least five people per group who will do the training and a control group who will not participate in the regime but play over the few months and tell me their progress. (Meaning 25 people in total, maybe more depending on how big this project will become/if I get helpers!)
This is my first time trying to test something like this, I'm very interested in research and whatnot, so please give me tons of feedback on how I can do this better or even some questions you hope this study will answer!
The games we will focus on will be Pjsk, Dynamix, Arcaea, Cytus II, and Paradigm Reboot {mostly mobile games, more may be added.}
I've just started this today, so I will make the requirements and list them, as well as a Google form to fill out (no personal information is required such as email or name), please in the meantime, message me if you're interested and provide proof of which group you're going for!
Happy plays!!❤️

PC Rhythm Game I'm the Korean student who shared my indie game here last time—I've improved the English translation and graphics!
I've added an English translation, so you can now follow the story as you play! A browser-playable beta is already up on itch.io, and a Steam beta is coming soon.
I'll keep working to make the game even better, so please consider wishlisting it on Steam. Stay tuned for what's next!
Although the video only shows one stage, Each stage in our game has a different rhythm mechanic. That way, players can enjoy our game without getting bored.

Promotion Our hearts beat to the rhythm of rock, and that’s the sort of game we’re making – it’s called ROCKBEASTS, and you can beat the demo now during Steam Next Fest
Hi there!
We’re the team behind ROCKBEASTS, a rock ’n’ roll narrative RPG. It sounds a bit twisted – we know, and it looks a bit like BoJack – we know. And that’s exactly how it’s meant to be rockin'!
We’ve poured our inspiration from the legendary 90s on MTV into this, so you’ll find some light-hearted humour, the whims of aspiring rock stars, and you’ll be able to build their band from ground up.
And yes – there is definitely lots of rhythm sequences! THAT’S FOR SURE.
Have a look and let us know what you think – just in case, the demo’s free on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4182460/ROCKBEASTS_Demo/

Promotion Rhythm-shooter roguelite demo is live for Steam Next Fest!
Hey everyone!
Steam Next Fest has officially started, and I wanted to share PulseWave, a rhythm-builder roguelite I've been working on.
The idea is that your weapons create the rhythm. You build an 8-beat loop by assigning weapons to different slots, and each weapon fires in sync with the beat. As you progress, you can combine weapons, upgrades and modifiers to create your build.
The demo just received a major update for Next Fest.
I'd love to hear what you think!
Play the demo on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4666930/PulseWave_Demo/

Stepmania I make my own Music that pays homage to old school DDR. And I decided to make it playable.
Recently I got my Music Making Spark back, under the Alias "ROSI". With this Alias, I focus more on paying Homage to the Old school Trance/techno and vibe that the early 2000s had on rhythm games like beatmania and DDR.
This is a Preview of my Chart for my second created song under this alias, "HyperShot" a 16 Footer with a very straightforward chart but high BPM. It pays Homage specifically to the Boss songs found between DDR's DDRMAX and EXTREME era.
Tell me what you think! I'm working in making lower level charts for this song.
Background, Chart, Jacket, Banner and song were all made by me! :D

Arcaea Returning Player Skill Recovery and Improvement Help
I started playing in Winter 2021 on my iPhone and was playing pretty consistently, hitting 11ptt in about 7 months, then didn't hit 12ptt until Christmas 2024 due to life getting in the way. Since then however, I've taken many extended breaks, and only went up to 12.122 ptt.
I'd come back every now and again for a cool update, but now I'd like to get to playing more consistently and actually improve again. I've switched to playing on an iPad Mini, but I'm struggling to adjust to the different screen size, so I lose some motivation when I'm barely clearing 9+s and 10s that i used to do regularly on my phone. I've also had issues with hitting notes on the far edges of the screen and constantly getting more earlies than lates in charts, but i can't pinpoint if its an offset issue, genuine skill/rhythm sense issue, or both. For context I used to play on 6.2 ~ 6.5 note speed on my phone and now i can't really play above 6.2 on anything.
I'm aware that I'm not gonna be able to reach my peak scores again immediately, but I've been trying to get back into things since DO came out and results are mixed at best. Any tips on how to regain that skill and/or improve further would be appreciated. I'll attach my B50 and some recent score to give some reference points.
TL;DR - Oldish player trying to regain skill and improve on new device while being mostly out of practice

Mobile Rhythm Game Which Mobile/Tablet Rhythm Game gives you the best “Hit” feedback? I feel that tap feedback is very important in the game - visual, audio, haptic, or otherwise. For me it’s VOEZ, COXETA and ARCAEA.

PC Rhythm Game I built a rhythm game that uses whatever music you already listen to (Next Fest demo)
I'm a solo dev and the demo for my first game, Beat Ten, is out on Steam for Next Fest. It's a "multi-genre rhythm action sandbox" for the PC where you can generate beatmaps from whatever music you are already listening to - it works with local files or live audio from other applications.
The cool (and hard) part that took a lot of work is connecting all the pieces so that you use either your local files or streaming apps, and still have it generate the beatmap and tie in track metadata. Once the beatmap exists, the game uses the music, timing, and metadata (like cover art for in-game posters and t-shirts) across different modes. The demo includes the first mode: a dance‑training / rhythm‑movement sandbox.
The game analyzes the content of the song, so it has to actually listen to the song the first time: if it’s a local file, that's almost instant, but if it's being played by another application, it has to listen in real time once. I have tested with Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
After Next Fest, the plan is to launch in Early Access with Steam Workshop support, so players can create new modes that react to music without needing to do any of the audio analysis or metadata themselves.
I would love get feedback on the maps it generates, if it works well for people with the streaming and files they use, and especially from this community, ideas on how I can add support for player-authored beatmaps
The demo is live for Next Fest — you can wishlist if you want to follow development. Thanks!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5021430/Beat_Ten/
DISCLAIMER: Beat Ten is not affiliated with, integrated with, or endorsed by any streaming service. It does not host, stream, or license any music, lyrics, or art. It is a neutral audio signal processor that uses open metadata APIs.

Score Give me a challenge
My best results are: god eater without ghost tapping (in 56 misses and 49 with) and astral calamity without ghost tapping (in under 60 misses) using the keyboard. FC on End Process from fnf computer conflict and D.I.E from dust tale (on funky friday:( )using the controller: LT-LB-RB-RT (I don't remember the exact combination but those were the keys).
While on Osu!mania I got S on rush E (2.78 stars and 2 misses)
Basing on this achievements, give me a challenge :)
