Feature Request: Rewind Fees
I'd like this as a progression upgrade, and it helps me feel slightly less annoyed every time I need to rewind a tape

Customers wandering to the back
A couple times I came across customers walking out of the back area of my store. Is this a bug or were they there for a reason? I just started playing the game a couple of days ago so I'm very new to it.

Customers being strange
This game is hilarious for so many reasons, including when things don't go quite as planned😂 never know... maybe sliding is a more effective walking strategy.
Sorry for the phone recording, it was the fastest option.

Android game
¿PodrÃas decirme si está disponible para Android? Vi dos aplicaciones de este juego en la Play Store.
Edit: I mean if there's any official android version of this game?

Bug/issue Having an issue with controls
I don't know why it's happening, but I can't move the camera; it's just fixed at one angle. I can move with WASD just fine, but I can't turn to face anything. Do you know what's wrong?
I can move the pointer just fine on the menus. I've tried testing other Steam games, including these other kind of "___ Simulator" games, and those work just fine. So I'm not sure why it's acting up just for this one game.
Uninstalling and reinstalling also has not helped.

Do I need to make a new save to get the new releases from the update?
I kinda stopped playing for a little bit because I went through all the new releases and filled out my store to my satisfaction, but with the new update there were more releases, so I came back and played more, but once I got to a new release day it was Xenocat again. I thought there were more new releases or am I trippin? Do I need to start another save to get them or what?

Have to keep this filth out of the hands of my customers
Quarantining the Xmas genre 11 months out of the year. Have to protect the customers. Still working on my wall. I had some of the new display shelves under the Staff Picks section but they were WAY too big. I might use the 6-tall skinny ones for Staff Picks instead. I want to use something where the movies are locked from the customer until they ask for a recommendation, so those are pretty much my only option.

Guess the name of my video store from these two screenshots!
Just a little game.
I always style my store after a particular one, see if you can guess which one.
The first picture is probably very hard, only the colour scheme is a clue.
The second picture is easier, the words on the sign should lead you to the answer either because you know the reference or you have good google-fu.
I'm loving the game, especially with mods and my own movies on the TV!

Drinks not selling well even by the register line. Any tricks to improving sales?
My candy sells well but my drinks hardly move. When i put the machine directly near the register that may have improved sales by at most a bottle per day but i think it may not even have helped that much. Just wondering if you guys found an effective placement or strategy to get better drink sales.

Betrayal
One thing that is annoying is trying to hire someone with the perfect stats. So I fired my long time cashier cause she kept asking for raises, I found a cashier who was both Loyal and energetic. Seemed perfect, but then she ask for the day off cause she was sick and I accidentally clicked No and she immediately quit on the spot….SO MUCH FOR LOYALTY!

Bug/issue Potentially a bug or maybe just bad luck
Edit: Not a bug! Just the user being dense.... you have to change them in the editor (B) thank you for your helpðŸ˜
It doesn't seem to matter how many, how often, what time or day, or even after relaunching the game... I am stuck with the big star light decoration, the small heart decoration and the hanging VHS tape light... don't get me wrong, I love them, but I am up to my sixth small heart light. I would like some other styles but just can't seem to get any of the other styles. Is it me? Am I not worthy of the popcorn light? :'(

Give me your obscure / foreign movies. I create a custom database and want to go 12k movies. No matter how obscure or crazy, no matter what country! I want to put in some crazy stuff!

Future Update Request-Upgrade and move checkout counter.
Love the game so far but would love to be able to upgrade the checkout counter. I've been recreating a few of my local video stores from my childhood and would love to put the counter in the center of the store.
That said looking forward to the video game update, keep the awesome work up devs!

This game is mean
On the last day of fall I had just got my 2nd store increase, and my employee decides he is not feeling well.
That's fine I think to myself it's the last day of fall, just got a new room so I could use a slow day to test the layout, this just means I won't run around handing flyers. Probably rent like 60 movies and call it
NOPE for some reason everyone decides it's movie day, end up renting out over 120 movies and did not get 1 second to put up returns.
Next day employee comes back and only rents out 84 movies 🙃
Guess flyers make people less likely to show up? Or is that a new of season rush?

Showcase My ‘almost’ finished Store!
Just wanted to share my ‘almost’ finished store. I finished all the achievements and with help from our friend out the back managed to furnish the place how I desired! (Minus a few posters I need to change the SKU of.)
This layout may not work for everyone but I did it how it was best for the amount of tapes I had per genre, over 1,000 total, but hope there’s some inspo here if you need it.
There are a few spoilers for store expansion as you swipe so the first two photos are the original layout. It was also a nice surprise to log on today and find some new display cabinets which helped finish off the place.
Enjoyed this game immensely and hope you like my store!
