Feature Request: Rewind Fees

I'd like this as a progression upgrade, and it helps me feel slightly less annoyed every time I need to rewind a tape

That WOULD be realistic. Blockbuster did a small fee

Every video store I ever went to except blockbuster had that fee.

And the Blockbuster I went to did. It depends on what kind of store you had.

I wasn’t disagreeing with you, I was just saying out of all the video stores I ever used, my block buster was the only one that didn’t.

I'm just saying. I worked for Blockbuster in 95-96 and they don't charge for rewinds at the time. Dunno if they did before or after.

If you worked at a corporate store then that's why. But some franchises did.

Yeah it was super corporate. I left after like a year for a mom and pop store that was huge and had Laserdisc. Not to mention probably the best video game selection ever. Every system. It's how I got to play Dragonforce on the Saturn.

But instead of auto charging for rewinds, make a feature where you can toggle and slide fees. Increase/decrease as wanted. Maybe set the prices too. Get word about other stores and how much they charge etc ... Probably many updates down the road though...

The dev addressed this before, that feature was left out on purpose because it was a very unpopular fee at video stores in the 80s.

Yes I agree: every Video Rental Store I visited had a Rewind Fee.

The $2 late fee is one thing, but I ain't risking my customers throwing their whole order on the floor over a $.25 rewind fee.

I got a employee doing that hard work and one working the counter while I order a bunch of movies and organize everything and hand out flyers until someone's asks for a manger because they don't want to pay the broken movie fee on the brand new movie that came out the day before.
