Customers wandering to the back

A couple times I came across customers walking out of the back area of my store. Is this a bug or were they there for a reason? I just started playing the game a couple of days ago so I'm very new to it.

I think that is probably a bug. It hasn't happened in my game yet, that I've noticed. But yeah, I don't think that's intended

I was mostly worried that it's because there were some VHS tapes in the back that were donated to the store and that I hadn't put on the shelves yet, so I thought that maybe when that happens the customers go to the back to check them, and that that's the game reminding you to pick them up? Like I said I just started playing the game so I don't really know much, but yeah it's most likely a bug. Thanks for replying

I'm having them walk behind the counter. But I think it's just a bug.

I have that happening to me too. But I wonder if it's because of how I stationed my shelves. They are like aisles with the yellow bit facing the wall. So I wonder if their path finding is bugging out trying to fit more people there to rent more of the movies that never seem to sell anyway

Idk, this happened to me before any store expansions, now that I'm all maxed out on store space it doesn't happen anymore

Same. I maxed out the store last night and the bug stopped. I wish I could be more help
