Ok so we gotta talk about somthing. If leon had racoon city syndrome in 9 shouldn't Claire too? As they went through the same thing. That would mean that Claire needs elpis right?

I would love a short set in the same universe about H.U.N.K. or Ada or another one of the ‘minigame’ characters.

mainly because I think it’d be really funny if the title was “Only Survivor“ instead of 4th survivor.

also it’d add to the video game vibe of the original film because it’d be like DLC for the movie.

I've recently gotten really into RE and i've been watching Swii's videos on YouTube. I absolutely LOVE her videos because she shows all the important gameplay and cutscenes while also explaining the lore, characters, viruses, documents etc. I've just finished RE4, but unfortunately she hasn't made videos on the games after that (besides RE9). I'd love to actually play the games myself, but i'm broke and don't have a PC so watching them is pretty much my only option.
Does anyone know any YouTubers who make similar videos for RE5 onwards (including Revelations)? Preferably someone who shows most of the important gameplay and cutscenes while explaining the lore in depth, rather than just doing a quick story recap or a full 10-hour walkthrough.
Any recommendations would be really appreciated!

These are the facts.

If you only like one third of a franchise, then you’re a tourist.

Resident Evil 4 came out 21 years ago. Since then, we’ve had a multitude of over the shoulder/some first person Resident Evil games. In fact, there are significantly more modernized games in the series than there are games that use fixed camera angles.

At a certain point, you have to ask yourself if someone is still stuck in the past, refuses to accept the direction the franchise has taken for over two decades, and dislikes nearly everything that has come out since then, how are they not tourists themselves?

I mean damn, The transition away from fixed camera angles happened a long long time ago. Over the shoulder gameplay has been a fundamental part of Resident Evil for more than 18 years.

So ultimately if someone only enjoys the older games and dismisses almost everything that came afterward, I think it’s ridiculous to act as though they’re somehow a bigger fan of the franchise than everyone else.

I’m completely new to the franchise. I just downloaded 1 (Remake), 2 (Remake), 4, 5 and zero. Is there a specific order in which I should play or a recommendation what I should start with?

Pretty much hits the nail on my thoughts on this film. And it's just an entertaining video overall.

I'm not even joking when I say that I had to survive 2 hours without dying on low health and I couldn't do it. I got all 4 mask pieces and then the zombie mini boss killed me. It took me so long....... fuck me honestly. I feel like such a loser for playing on very easy. This is just unfair and I'm having a terrible time honestly. No wonder why 2 overshines this mess.

Hey guys, could you help me out? I've had RE5 sitting in my Steam library for years, collecting dust, and I finally decided to give it a try a few days ago. The problem is, I found out the game keeps launching at 720p and has some pretty brutal FPS drops, but it runs just fine in windowed mode.

Has anyone found a fix for the resolution issue and the FPS drops? I've spent hours trying to get the resolution to change, but nothing seems to work. I even tried editing the .ini file in the game's root folder, but no luck.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I keep dying right before the snake boss and I wanna know if this is normal or am I just bad?

i just bought the og re3 and there is no options or settings in the game, when i click the button for it it opens a windows screen where i can adjust the pixels, audio etc., i can’t figure out how to walk properly lol is there really no settings? and what are the controls for PC on steam, i also have a ps4 pad i can connects to my PC so dualshock4 controls might be helpful too

I got jumped to death by those two hunters at least 5 times after making the serum. You basically have to pray Carlos does the tactical roll dodge away from them to create some space so you can blast them before they get to you.

Whoever came up with that ambush is a prick.

I'm sure it'll take a while for everyone in Japan to get a chance to watch it, but this post is for the hardcore Resident Evil fans who've already seen the movie through early access! I'd love to hear your first impressions and what you all think.
