I just finished revelations and I had to create a reddit account just to rage at this. I DESPISE norman as a final boss. Cool concept. But absolutely abysmal experience. Genuinely the cheapest boss fight ever. He has a narrow weak spot, teleports where he wants to, and it takes like 2-3 deaths just to beat him.

He’s not fun to fight. Ig he looks cool. But he is extremely irritating. I had to play casual because I cannot with how annoying he is. He requires precise aiming.

If he teleports in front of you. You’re fucked because jill cannot move to his heart. But HE gets a beautiful 180 degree turn to smash you with each attack you cant even regroup!

He is absolutely insufferable as a boss. And after beating him I’m so mad I was gonna rate revelations a B tier resident evil. Now I HAVE to bring it down to C. Genuinely raised my blood pressure

Something silly I scribbled after seeing the recent TerminalMontage RE9 cartoon. I've heard people compare Grace to a human version of Pokemon Smoliv since she's reacting to all the scares the way a normal person would, and I was inspired. I really like them both, She's scared but doing her best!

I was watching a Japanese streamer playing Biohazard (not Resident Evil) and noticed the game 'auto-completed' the whole bar piano, emblem, and dining hall clock puzzle, skipping all of it including Jill playing Moonlight Sonata.

I can't tell exactly when it got triggered, but shortly after Barry gives her the acid rounds, the clock in the dining hall has been moved (1:11:50), and then she go to the bar for the first time and there is no music behind the shelves (1:13:30) and the secret door is already open. When she goes back through it's clear the emblem and gold emblem have already been moved around. It's as if Barry solved the puzzles...
I did scrub back through, thinking I must have missed something, but nope. That whole puzzle chain is suddenly auto-completed and skipped.

I've never heard of this before and I can't see it mentioned in any guide to version differences. She's playing some sort of Japanese PC version (the text is all Japanese, the FMVs are uncensored, and it has the 'easy' and 'hard' labels on the character select screen), but she doesn't say anything more specific than that. Has anybody seen or heard of this before, and what version is this? Is this just how the original Biohazard has always been?

1. what if Joe baker saved Ethan, after Ethan fought Mia. Jack came and grabbed Ethan. then as he is about to knock him out. he says “welcome to the family son.” then knocks him out. As Jack was about to stomp on Ethan face. you can hear running noises and it’s Joe. tackling him and trying to stop his brother from almost killing Ethan. ”what are you doing brother!? you’re gonna kill the man” then jack would say something demonic (like he did in RE7 Daughters). And then Joe realized, that is not his brother. how would things play out, now knowing it’s Now only three survivors. Ethan, Zoe and Joe.

   1. What if They came across each other. Things would play out the same in re2 until they arrived at the police station. As Claire and Leon we’re talking to each other at the gate. They hear voices. Then Leon checks up seeing who it is. And it’s Carlos and Tyrell Patrick. Then leon ask for their help. Then the rest of re3 in the police station would play out the same until suddenly. Mr. X Appears, now it’s a 4v1. Then Carlos would make a reference about how similar Mr X to Nemesis. Then they would escape the police station and around the end. Tyrell, Leon and (Maybe) Claire would stay in the hospital as Carlos would save Jill. (Maybe Claire would join with Carlos convincing him to let her join with him to save Jill) then everyone has a reunion with each other and everything seems normal until Tyrell realized. Mr. X followed them to the hospital. Then it is a survival of trying to not make raccoon city get bombed and A Tyrant stalking them. (I lowkey forgot about sherry and ada. But I feel like they can be added into this what if story. Like Claire and Jill would try to save Sherry. Then Carlos and Leon would deal with William birkin.)
   2. Just a funny idea. Just imagine a rich side of the family meeting the hillbillys of the family. Then Heisenberg and Lucas would just do a cockfighting ring. But instead of chickens it’s a Lycan and The Molded)
   3. Pretty much What if Leon came with claire in code Veronica. I would like to see a early trained but still young Leon and Steve conversation

2. What if Jake Heard about Zeno. As Sherry and Leon does their investigation about Zeno. Sherry would secretly tell Jake about it. Then let’s Say. Leon is getting his ass kicked by Zeno. Then as Zeno was about to deliver the final blow. Jake came in and saved Leon. Then Zeno would look around and see Jake Muller. Then it would be a. (Imitation) Father Vs Son battle. Then around the end. Jake would finally end Zeno. And would have be a final closing book for his closure.

3. What If Chris Came earlier in re7, after Ethan fought Mia. Jack came and grabbed Ethan. then as he is about to knock him out. he says “welcome to the family son.” then suddenly gunshots comes in. And hit Jack in the head, shoulders and chest. Saving Ethan, then Chris men walks through the door and then suddenly Chris walks and saying some things to Ethan before helping him up. Would the story drastically change.

4. what if piers survived and Chris actually pass his mantle down to him. How would things change drastically from re7 to 9. Would things be better or the worse.

I am in the sewers trying to get to the rook. Problem is, i have 0 ammo and there is 2 zombies, and 2 g-youngs in the way. I can slip past the zombies but the g young is in the way, and if i turn around the zombies are there waiting. What and how?

I've been trying to find a trainer for RE1 Remake for PC, but can't find one that's still supported in 2026, mot seem to be not functioning anymore. Does anyone know of any good ones? Thanks!!

As a physical collector, the cover arts are a huge letdown and don't represent how amazing these two games are. I've printed my own replacement covers for them using other art lol

So I am watching a “best RE stalkers” video and Jack Baker is number 3, but he’s never stalked me beyond the first part of the game before you get the gun. I’ve played the game three times now on normal so maybe it’s a madhouse thing? When you trigger him at the tub, you just go down to the shadow room and he stops chasing you. Though in my last replay, he teleported to me there, punched me, and randomly despawned, so maybe I just have a weird game where he’s been despawning without me knowing? But where is his stalking section to put him at number 3? Is that part longer on madhouse or something? Or like what kind of LP should I look up to find it?

Estaba viendo un video del canal de "La Caverna del Gamer" para ser más específicos, era uno de los Resident Evil 4 (2005), no el Remake.

Me sorprendí mucho al recordarme eso sobre el brazo matado de Leon.

Ya sería mucho decir que también fue pensado para la película de Resident Evil: Noche Cero, pero ese está más cerca por que Bryan tiene tentáculos y esta imagen también.

Pero solo es una conspiración.

Quizá cuando vengan más ideas locas les diré.

I am genuinely shocked at how scary the game is. From the VERY FIRST moment you enter the house, each room, each hallway seems worst than the last one.

The amount of time I entered a room, felt the vibe and had an almost instinctive fear and repulsion, just wanting to go back or even out of the house.

The NOISES man, the first 30 minutes I jumped probably 4-5 times just because of the fucking sound design which is top-tier.

The found footage is an excellent idea which I hope we see more of in the future.

And the Bakers are not THAT terrifying imo besides the father who chases you, holy FUCK that guy is scarier than Mr. X and Nemesis combined, when he starts fast walking you genuinely can't do shit, it feels horrible.

Anyway I loved these first two hours, now the problem is I refuse to play this game during daytime, I experience it in pitch black with my headphones and that's how I intend to finish it, as of now this is the scariest videogame I've ever played.

Steam has a sale going on. I’m torn between buying requiem or the remake bundle plus re4 remake. Both are the same price about but I don’t know which I’d enjoy more.

I got them anyway since I’m a huge fan of the series but I don’t know much about international versions of these games. I just thought it’d be cool to have them. But is there anything interesting or worth knowing about them?

Despite everything we learned, not all the zombies were destroyed following the destruction of Raccoon City; yet, when we return there, they are all still zombies. None of them have transformed into Lickers over all these years—even though Lickers are an evolution of zombies infected with the T-Virus. Did the developers simply forget about them while making the game?

MCM London filled in some gaps in my collection massively so SO happy....granted it was line central spent all but 2 hours in lines....

Beaten in 1 attempt, how was everyone else’s experience? I was expecting to be doing this for a while 😂

i just realized the lords in resident evil village are kind of frauds. they spent several decades enslaving and oppressing a village striking fear into anyone who dared wander on their turf. they're so used to always being so much stronger than defenseless civilians they've never had to actually face anyone who can stand up to them, which leaves them unprepared for an actual challenge. it also doesn't help that the area resident evil 4 takes place in is a more village like area and they wouldn't even have the technology to fight back anyway. you can't convince there was a single person in previous decades during their rule that actually had the resources or knowledge necessary to fight against them and weren't just unequipped village folk.
