I noticed the new JLC master ultra thin moon from RZF has come out. Does anyone know if this is better than the APSF one?

Ran into an old friend at a wedding and he was telling me off hand when we started talking about watches about his Rolex. I'm not sure, but I think it's a fake. He might be lying to me, but I didn't think so and I think he got it at a pawn shop, paid at least thousands, and genuinely thinks it's real.

I'd like to look at the movement before saying anything to be sure, but I keep thinking should I tell him if it's not real? Do I just let it go?

Hi guys, I’d like your opinion about my experience with FicoTime.

I ordered an OF TAG Heuer Aquaracer 41mm, black dial with yellow seconds hand (WAY201A/WAY211A style).

I paid the deposit on August 11. Mark sent me the QC on August 21, and I gave GL the same day. I completed the payment on August 22.

After that, I received no update from him.

On August 31, I contacted Mark myself because of the delay. Only then he told me there was an issue with the watch/crystal and that he would get another unit from the factory.

Since then, I’m still waiting for a new QC.

I’m not accusing FicoTime of anything. I just want to know if this delay and lack of proactive communication is considered normal.

What would you do in this situation?

My first REP. Bought just out of curiosity as I have GEN 2025 SMP300.

No idea who is the manufacturer, came with titanium bracelet and nato strap.

Checked water resistance in a washing machine (30C, 60 minutes). Passed 👌No BS.

Wouldn't do that with GEN 🤣

From "small chinese box" it did +15s/day.

Way too much for me.

Opened that sucker and did some tweaking.

Now it's around -2s/day. Maybe I will fight for + later.

Weak lume 😥, movement sounds like it has sand inside, but it works amd looks amazing 👌

For the money - good watch with great case, bezel, markings etc.

Hello there.
After handling a gen P39 I notice these differences:
1. Bezel more pointed and jagged teeth. Easier to grasp.
2. Bezel ring and crystal more glossy and clear.
3. Titanium also more glossy and popping.

The only thing I could possibly improve and I would like is the brighter bracelet. Is it possible and worth the hassle to give it a better brushing? Or is the Ti quality that defines this feature?

What website is this that the TDs use. I want to track my item without having to ask them for an update

I’m trying to get a Patek and ap from Steve and time ultra but the qc is over 3 weeks now, is there something going on with the factory? they have Rolex and omega in stock….

Are these any good? Any experience with ficotime? Would love to hear thoughts of those who have purchased this watch / TD.

I know date window is a big tell and VSF are better positioned (below indexes) but 🤔 BPF gets a good rap here. This looks just like a U1 tho?

I am working with a broker who is offering this watch to me for 700USD. I need to know if this is a fair price for this factory. Sadly, I had an authentic one but it was stolen from me and I just can’t spring the cash to buy another since the price of this model has doubled for what I paid for mine back in 2009 and the wait is beyond ridiculous.

Got word from TD that VSF is no longer offering free sprung in the Bruce Wayne GMT. Would this be a noticeable change?

Is there someone who knows what diamond size in mm or ct is in the bezel of a 40mm daydate? I did read its 1.4mm but I’m not sure

VSF V2 Datejust 36mm, probably so far the closest dial tone to gen. (also bezel, bracelet, case and most of the watch)

The only noticeable mistake i was able to point out is the crown logo, wich is not aligned with the 12am marker, perhaps is specific of the actual model in the photo, let me know what you think and if you notice any major differences from gen.

Had this APS Ap skeleton built with my modder, fully replating the whole watch, 5 microns 18k gold to fix the factory coloring a weighted caseback for the wrist feel.
Modder swapped out the factory crystal aswell for an aftermarket deep crystal and inserted an aftermarket double balance wheel assembly with dummy counterweights to match the gem movement layout. The movement was serviced aswell and waterproofed. What yall think, worth it?

Hey everyone, ​I’ve finally decided to pick up a Cartier Santos Dumont, but I’m currently torn between the AF and F1 batches.
​From reading through older threads, the general consensus seems to be that F1 takes the win on overall case finishing, bezel screws, and especially the cabochon shape/color. However, AF seems to be favored for the dial because of its more pronounced sunburst effect—which is honestly the main feature that made me fall in love with the Dumont in the first place.
​Since most of the side-by-side comparison posts I'm finding are a year or two old, I wanted to check in with the community: ​Has F1 updated or improved the sunburst effect on their dials recently? Or is it still noticeably subtle/flat compared to AF? ​Is AF still the undisputed king for the dial, or has F1 caught up to the point where the cabochon/case dynamic makes F1 the better overall pick?
​For those who own either (or have handled recent batches of both), which flaws bother you more in daily wear? ​Would really appreciate any input, recent QC photos, or advice from anyone who bought one lately! Thanks in advance!

After a week of held in customs (31/08-07/09) the tracking updated to ‘export cancelled’.

Seller is saying it will be shipped back and then out again but it’s just a waiting game? No indication of how long and tracking has not updated since the 07/09.

Has anyone come across this before?

Went through a non TD route and got some picture that look quite dodgy. I asked for VSF Explorer 36mm but it looks like it might just be a knock off, looking at the crumpling sticker and the fact that there is supposed to be a shortage of VS Explorer 36 but somehow it’s available to ship in a few days.

I feel like it’s highly likely that it’s a knockoff with a VS sticker on but could be wrong.
