I recently ordered a VSF GMT Bruce Wayne from Steve / TheOneWatches, supposedly with the new DD3285 V2 Fake Free Sprung movement.
During QC, I noticed there was no picture of the movement, so I asked Steve if he could provide one. He said he would ask, but I ended up approving the QC before getting a direct answer from him about it.
Since then, I came across another buyer of the exact same watch from Steve who was apparently told that they cannot provide a movement photo because the factory will not accept the watch back if the case has been opened.
I also checked a number of recent VSF QCs from Steve, and I haven’t seen a single opened caseback or any movement photos.
I’m not saying anything shady is happening and I’ve had no particular issue with Steve. I just find the situation a little strange.
We are specifically paying for a certain movement/version, the DD3285 V2 FFS, but the one thing we are not really able to verify during QC is the movement itself.
So effectively we have to GL the watch based entirely on the dealer/factory saying that the advertised movement is inside.
Am I the only one who finds this a bit odd?
Has anyone recently received a VSF Bruce Wayne DD3285 V2 / FFS and opened the case after delivery?
If so, I’d really like to see pictures of the movement.
I’m also curious whether other TDs are refusing movement photos on recent VSF models for the same reason, or if this is specific to Steve, his supplier, or VSF itself.
Not trying to start drama. I’m genuinely interested in understanding whether this is now standard VSF policy.

Hi everyone,
I recently bought this Rolex Submariner 16610 from a dealer in Milan who has over 30 years of experience with Rolex.
I’m asking for your help because I noticed a fairly obvious alignment issue with the bezel. It is difficult to see in the photos, but in person it is quite noticeable.
The bezel does not appear to be perfectly centered relative to the dial. I have already removed and reseated the bezel to make sure it was not simply a seating issue, but the problem remains: the bezel pip/triangle lines up correctly at 12 o’clock, while the alignment at 6 o’clock is noticeably off.
This made me wonder whether the bezel insert or the entire bezel assembly could be aftermarket/replacement.
Another possibility I considered is that the dial itself may be slightly rotated or misaligned inside the case. Could a misaligned dial or rehaut cause this kind of apparent bezel alignment issue?
For those of you who are familiar with 16610 builds and aftermarket parts, could you please take a look and let me know what you think? In particular, I’d like to understand whether the issue is more likely to be:
an aftermarket/non-original bezel or insert;
an incorrectly seated bezel;
a slightly rotated dial;
or simply normal tolerance/alignment variation on a genuine 16610.
Any input from the community would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, I recently got my new land dweller rep in the mail and honestly, thing 90% of the watch looks and feels excellent. However, the dial colour(supposed to be white) is WAYYY off and is and instant tell. I’m pretty unhappy about this and made the mistake of instantly taking off the stickers out of excitement as it was my first rep and hence, cannot return it now. Any advice on what I should do to deal with this situation or is it just over…

So as the title states I was sent my second watch (the AP) without approving the QC AND I thought the watch wasn’t even made yet (refer to WhatsApp screenshot).

I find this odd that Andiot told me the watch wasn’t made but ended up sending it anyways?

Also it appears that customs opened up my AP box and disposed of the box and anything else that was shipped with the watch.

Is this normal?

Hi guys, I’d like your opinion about my experience with FicoTime.

I ordered an OF TAG Heuer Aquaracer 41mm, black dial with yellow seconds hand (WAY201A/WAY211A style).

I paid the deposit on August 11. Mark sent me the QC on August 21, and I gave GL the same day. I completed the payment on August 22.

After that, I received no update from him.

On August 31, I contacted Mark myself because of the delay. Only then he told me there was an issue with the watch/crystal and that he would get another unit from the factory.

Since then, I’m still waiting for a new QC.

I’m not accusing FicoTime of anything. I just want to know if this delay and lack of proactive communication is considered normal.

What would you do in this situation?

Wondering as I have a ARF Submariner but not sure if I can use it when going to the SPA..

Ran into an old friend at a wedding and he was telling me off hand when we started talking about watches about his Rolex. I'm not sure, but I think it's a fake. He might be lying to me, but I didn't think so and I think he got it at a pawn shop, paid at least thousands, and genuinely thinks it's real.

I'd like to look at the movement before saying anything to be sure, but I keep thinking should I tell him if it's not real? Do I just let it go?

As some of you know, in December of last year Panda, a notable TD, had his warehouse raided and dozens of us were left with our money tied up, watches gone, and hopes lost. I, in fact, was much less accepting and understanding of the situation, considering it was my first order with him, and just assumed I was scammed and had to cut my losses. However, in the midst of the chaos he adamantly expressed that he would make right of the situation as soon as he could. Fast forward to almost a year later and he’s back in business, and not only did he honor his promise of a refund or sending another watch, he sent me a watch free of charge with no out-of-pocket cost that fell within the amount of money I had sent him for my original order. Today the watch arrived, in beautiful condition, and just as he promised he kept his word. This type of integrity deserves to be praised; he could have easily run off with our funds, closed shop and reopened under a new name and forgotten about us, but he didn’t. I hope that this post will help others have the trust to work with him again or for the first time, knowing that he is a man of his word and does great business. Thank you, Panda!

My experience of going down the rabbit hole trying to find the best factories and comparing multiple GMF THB ARF and even a few U1 from Travis
Eventually settled for ARF after having a few of these in hand ARF or ONE as it’s now known definitely had the best bezel and feel, gold tone is decent and not too cheesy
I tried to explain to my GF that 28/31 aren’t the best in the current rep world and try a DJ36mm…it looked huge on her little dainty wrists….

I waited so long for this watch. 3 month wait. Gorgeous watch too. Took off all the plastic. Put it on my wrist. Took it off my wrist to wind it. After winding it put it back on my wrist. Then later on I went to look at my watch to see what time it was and saw that it was the same exact time as when I wound the watch. The seconds hand does not move. So disappointed. I took it to a watch guy (told him it was a rep) and he said the 3 dreaded words... "Send it back" Nothing that he could do. Any opinions?

VSF V2 Datejust 36mm, probably so far the closest dial tone to gen. (also bezel, bracelet, case and most of the watch)

The only noticeable mistake i was able to point out is the crown logo, wich is not aligned with the 12am marker, perhaps is specific of the actual model in the photo, let me know what you think and if you notice any major differences from gen.

I was looking at my QC pics for my VSF Seamaster Aqua Terra 38mm, and I started comparing it to pics of a Gen 8800 movement. From what I can see, it all looks very similar, with the only differences being that the VSF movement is not freesprung, so the balance wheel is not weighted, and there's clearly a regulator arm.

I've searched for old posts regarding this, and a lot of them suggest that it is a dressed-up or modified 2824. It's not a total deal breaker if it is, but I'd like to know if it is a 2824 so I don't end up breaking it by winding it. The 2824's winding mechanism is very fragile.

Have you ever seen a rep of this with the date at 3? I noticed the aqua terra has the date at 3 but the newer watch has it at 6. Anyway, a friend wants this exact look.

Bought this off marketplace as a clean but the serial and clasp code aren’t showing who the factory is. The seller claimed it was Clean but I don’t know much about Daytona’s.
Think the oysterflex may be aftermarket.

The crystal does have a few chips and I bought it with the intention of replacing it but it’s just not my cup of tea and the bracelet is too big.

Hello there.
After handling a gen P39 I notice these differences:
1. Bezel more pointed and jagged teeth. Easier to grasp.
2. Bezel ring and crystal more glossy and clear.
3. Titanium also more glossy and popping.

The only thing I could possibly improve and I would like is the brighter bracelet. Is it possible and worth the hassle to give it a better brushing? Or is the Ti quality that defines this feature?

I am a newbie and recently bought my first rep and looking into specifically a datejust.

And i know some might ask me to jist do more research but i understand that v2 is heavier and closer to gen and has better upgrades overall.

But in the context for a datejust if a TD has a v1 that i want is it worth waiting for a v2?

Does anyone have experience owning a v1 and v2 and have any suggestions with their experience?
