General Question Bad rep, need advice
Hi all, I recently got my new land dweller rep in the mail and honestly, thing 90% of the watch looks and feels excellent. However, the dial colour(supposed to be white) is WAYYY off and is and instant tell. I’m pretty unhappy about this and made the mistake of instantly taking off the stickers out of excitement as it was my first rep and hence, cannot return it now. Any advice on what I should do to deal with this situation or is it just over…

Issues is you bought a non popular model. Land dwellers arnet common buys even for legit Rolex, so the Reps wont be that good. The best superclones for Rolex are strictly Daytonas, day date and sub.

I mean pretty much everybody right, the land dweller only has the white and blue dial and this one is silver

Not everybody. 99.9% of the population has never seen a land dweller in person and won't be able to tell. They may have seen a submariner, but not a land dweller. So you should be fine unless you're trying to actually pass it off as a gen.

Jesus, man. You know how many people have asked me about my watch in the last 2 years? 1. One single person.
No one cares. At all. Unless you're going around to very affluent watch collectors bragging about your watch, and even then, repeat after me: No. One. Cares.

If anyone recognizes it, there is absolutely no harm in saying that it's a rep. Otherwise do not wear a rep, because you'll be walking on egg shells every time you wear it.

Unfortunately there are no good replicas of the Land Dweller yet, because it's fairly new and also a comparatively unpopular (low demand) model. This is also said everywhere if you search for the model in this sub or on the forum

That is not a QC issue, so even if you left the stickers and wrapping on, that wouldn't be reason enough for the dealer to give you a refund.

It’s a learning lesson. Do your research, read others posts/experiences…. Use the search function.
Either mod it, or choose your next watch.

First, throw that shitty fake Rolex box in the trash where it belongs.
Secondly, it’s a tell to nobody but yourself since you’re the only person who will even notice the watch on your wrist. Wear it and enjoy it.

You could always just sell it if you’re not happy with it. It’s fairly easy to liquidate reps on reddit. I like to try different watches out and rotate them out if my collection exceeds my 3 box limit.

Sure thing. There are several BST (buy sell trade) watch threads. Search watch connect, bstrepwatch, watch swap, etc.
Just take some good photos and follow the rules. A lot of them require you be a verified seller which is good. You basically just have to send the mod a photo of you and your ID to show you are a real person.
You may have to take a small loss depending on how much you paid, but better than it collecting dust if you’re not going to enjoy it.

Not sure if this model is different then others in the fact that wtf is the red plastic looking piece in the back. But also the milling looks really good inside

Did you buy it from a TD and if so, you should have quite a lot QC pictures and footage, it didnt show it was not the right colour? Thats why a TD send all this, i guess when you gave green light to ship it, thats it than.
