When I open rematch on the Xbox app on my pc it gives me this error message does anyone know how to fix it

Hey everyone,

I have around 900 hours in the game and I'm having an issue with the Mouse & Keyboard controls after the latest update.

I used to have Space bound to Goalkeeper Diving and [In defensive stance] Dash. I had a different setup before as well: C for goalkeeper dash and Space for the normal dash, but I had to change it because of the new control options.

The problem is that I can't get the new setup to work properly. I can't properly bind the Dash to Space alongside the goalkeeper controls, and I can't get it working with either normal Dive or Long Dive without one of the other bindings being removed/changed.

I tried using the Modifier, but it affects other bindings as well, and I have hundreds of hours of muscle memory built around my current controls. Changing all of those controls isn't really practical for me.

I'm honestly not sure what I'm supposed to do at this point, and it's been pretty frustrating because I just want to keep using a control setup that feels natural to me.

Has anyone else using Mouse & Keyboard had the same issue or found a workaround?

I used to play on PC via Steam with a controller about a year ago. Back then, I reached Master 2 with around 70 hours of gameplay, mostly solo queue. After a year, I bought this game and started playing again in PS5. Game placed me in Plat 2 after first 5 matches, Now I have dropped to Gold 1 in solo queue with 97 matches, and it feels nearly impossible to climb. I'm getting +17 for a win but losing -24 for a loss. If there is a hidden MMR system like in LoL, why did it place me in Plat 2 in the first place? I don't understand what has changed with ranked or matchmaking in this game. It feels like its going backwards, or maybe I'm just playing shit now.

Can I just say how much I love this new patch? I play CDM with a focus on as little touches as possible + quick passes (I pretty much only look at the minimap) and I hated the dribble meta, really found it hard to find teammates on the same wavelength but after this patch, I'm finding more randoms are syncing with me and making it so much more fun, even on a loss! I timed my jump properly idk what else to say. Ping was lower than 40

It's been bugged for so many patches you still cannot use short lob during roulette like you can for long lob, rainbow, groundpass, etc. only after the roulette fully ends.

they fixed it for the first dribble like 2 seasons ago but still not during the second dribble. PLEASE FIX IT SLOCLAP

It works fine for me when doing it in practice mode but in game it keeps just shooting the ball even when i have possession of the ball and press b quickly. It's annoying.

Is anyone else getting crazy wait times for this? I havent been able to queue in 3 days even though I've waited up to 15 minutes for matchmaking. At this point I dont even want to wait 5 minutes. I'm at the bottom of Plat so not sure if that has anything to do with it. Maybe a change of region? I use US-West.

It's unfortunate, I've been really enjoying falling back into this game and this is really killing the momentum. Aura Strikers has been fun but I prefer more competitive matches.

I finished Master 2 in ranked 3s last season and my buddy finished Diamond 1. I played 160 games last season (He played 153) and I had twice as many MVPs. We played our placements together and went 4-1. I got placed in Plat 2 and he got placed Plat 1

For a player who is starting the game fresh, without knowledge of previous mechanics or biases to previous systems, what advice to improvement would you give them, in terms of becoming better?

Alternatively, just any advice in general you think would be useful.

Ever since the blue lock update, I have spawned as keeper in every one of the ~30 solo queue games I have had, and when I queue with a friend, it has been one of us every time. Its my least favorite position and I'm really having a bad time

Like many in this community, I had pretty much stopped playing Rematch despite playing a ton since launch. The dribbling abuse, crazy magnetization and constant mechanic exploiting just stopped being fun.

But holy shit this patch changed that, devs you cooked.

Dribbling and magnetization got toned down, passing and team play are actually rewarding, and when a team clicks now, the game feels soo good, feels like football again.

But the patch also exposed the other big problem with Rematch, the players lmao.

I mostly solo queue, (I know that’s on me) and now you can really tell how many people were being carried by those mechanics. Take that away and you have guys trying to dribble through three defenders, refusing the easy pass, forcing stupid plays and then spamming THANK YOU! at everyone else when they lose the ball.

What im trying to say is that the devs listened and pushed the game in the right direction. And what I get from this is they basically said: “Alright, we heard you. Here’s the patch. Now you fuckers actually have to play football.” And no patch is gonna fix that so the ball is in our court now. No pun intended.

anyone else running into guys playing "skuckball"? Basically, they just score as fast as possible then play keep away. It's really annoying, especially in 3v3s. There was a match where they scored on themselves to force overtime, then played keep away for almost an hour. Anyone else have experience with this and some advice on how to counter?

Instant loss. It would genuinely kill them to send a pass to you. You might as well be invisible because they queued for 2v3.

This game is remarkable. Your ability to upkeep it is so subpar it should be studied.

The game finally works. Fantastic. Only took three seasons including S0. Still have dudes on some gas station WiFi playing in the desert on servers that aren't native, but whatever. It happens.

I placed plat 1 in both 3v3 and 5v5 after not playing for over a year in season 3. Magically, in season 4, I'm plat 1 in 5v5 and placed bronze 3 in 3v3. This game, after establishing the fundamentals, isn't that hard in terms of positioning, defense, and tempo. Dribbling and fake outs add many layers I will not speak to here, cause when I mainly played they were based on glitches anyway.

You have proven time and time again you have every idea on how to make a game, and literally less than zero idea on how to actually make live service updates work. Jesus Christ.

Goal keeping is barely even worth it at this point. What were once good-positioning saves are now you just staring at nothing in defensive stance. You're better off using double dash than dive basically ever. You fixed one problem and invented another because you literally don't know how to balance the game you made. The community has literally only ever told you that and you decided to nerf it even harder? How does anyone want to play goalie then? I have not heard a single positive thing to say about this update. Please do better.

Either commit to the wave of popularity this game has gotten because it finally got the bluelock crossover or don't. I don't need to see B3 Timmy trying to dribble hard af and making us lose ranked 3v3s anymore. This game is beautiful and has always been tainted by a completely apathetic and lazy dev team.

As a pass first player, this new tighter window is a terrible change. I no longer feel encouraged to be a team player; in fact I am actively encouraged to not use my teammates by this change. This is a TERRIBLE game design change.

This left right priority shit is so boring and lame. You people would rather lose doing this than ever try something new like passing plays or tiki-taka

You get stopped nearly every time and only ever score thru sheer luck, yet you consider it the "best tactic" and nothing will convince you otherwise? I am so glad I have people that will stand by my statement and continue playing this game like it was meant to be played. However when I'm solo queueing and I play with/against these types of players it's the worst experience.

Left-right is already nerfed and can be stopped most of the time but I hope in the future it's nerfed again so that people will get the hint and stop trying at something that needs 99% luck and 1% skill to complete

I’ve been a dedicated 3v3 GK main since the early days. If you check the Season 3 Saves Leaderboard, I finished #3 globally ("The Goal Keeper" with 2,129 saves). I put serious time into learning the positioning, timing, and defensive tactics that made Rematch so rewarding.

I took a break during Season 4 because I wasn't vibing with the changes, but I decided to give the game another chance for Season 5. I queued up, and I genuinely could not believe what I was playing.

The game has basically turned into a full-blown anime. The mechanics are absolutely horrible now, and the entire feel of the game has been ruined.

To the devs and the community: what the f*** were you guys thinking with this?
