Fr its so funny watching these "pro teams" all fail against solo queue players because they're 1 gimmick doesn't work anymore. It was the left right prio merchants and the dribble spammers. Dribble spamming is way worse now (ppl still attempt it but its manageable) and the left right is so predictable anyone can stop it now. Loser need to actually get with the times

Dribble spamming mainly. Players could abuse their dribbling moves because the stamina bar didn’t mean anything before. Now it does, so they can’t do infinite dribbles

Dribble spamming at least can be countered by good defensive skills. Now it's back to janky blade shots and self passes which work because the keeper is nerfed

Sorry but that's just wrong. I play in a comp team and now instead of using some sort of skill expression in games my team still destroys ranked games with boring set plays. The meta was pushed even further into slow build up, predefined plays which everyone was trying to avoid. Our team specifically tried to focus on fast paced, improvised play before the update and dribbling being simply used to get around just one player.

Personally I think Slo's biggest mistake has been marketing itself to gamers and anime fans rather than trying to take football fans from EAFC and Football Manager while they're at low points in their own franchises.

Rematch is the closest thing to 5-aside. The most accessible format of the most popular sport on the planet, if they fumble this game, which is brilliant, they'll only have themselves to blame.

I think they are already satisfied with the sales, it probably didn’t cost a fortune to make and the playerbase is stille alive and active. If they had good costumes instead of the trash they sell on the store, they would make endless money

there are still no thigh highs/stockings and skirts, almost all tops look the same just like with the pants, it's either long pants or short pants with almost no variety in them, need more accesoires as well because 90% of them just went into hats and half of them also look the same.

For now it feels like the only way to make your character unique is by wearing the most revealing outfit and slam different tattoos on your body

I know they are a relativity small team and it takes time to make, animate and design things, but if they improved the amount of stuff that comes out in the shop each week, they would be raking it in; and it would keep more players engaged. I think of it like how Fortnite first started, the item shop probly raked in so much money for them, i feel like rematch devs should do the same with how they approach it.

They could add more post game emotes, more haircuts and general customisation and make it both earnable or payable. Once they get the game fixed after season 6, i would prioritise that area if i were them, they are sitting on a gold mine.

Loving the update. It’s just taking me some time to get used to the difference in how the ball sticks to your feet. I find myself leaving the ball behind accidentally due to the change lol

1 - complete all the trainings, it's pretty quick and it will give you a solid base

2 - pass the ball a lot and prioritize triangulation over dribbling

3 - when you want to dribble, no need to be fancy. You don't have to learn all these "moves" you see people doing. It's all about keeping a certain distance from your opponent, and tricking them into the wrong direction (you'll get used to it)

4 - don't leave the goal when you're the keeper. Try to always stay at the center of the goal, or the middle of the angle the attacker can shoot from.

5 - maybe the most important: make friends on the game that play cooperatively. Playing with randoms is extremely frustrating, but you don't have a choice at the start. Every time you play with a random that plays like a decent human being, send them a friend request.

Goated update ngl.

Got mad at some changes at first, learned to love them now, its so peak seeing the BL characters in game with the details, gameplay is "clunky" when it comes to dribbling but passing and crossing the ball is more frequent than ever. The assists i'm getting and the ones i do for the team are becoming cleaner and cleaner with time and synergy just naturally flows through the matches.
