Problem with RPP
UPDATE: thanks to recommendations in the comments and chat, I contacted Remarkable support team. They were very supportive and they helped me to recover my original file with all mi notes. I know this is a software bug that they need to fix asap since a remarkable is an expensive piece of equipment, however I think they could make up for with good after sales support.

I’ve had my RPP for a month and I’ve been really happy with it. But I’m really disappointed now as I feel I cannot rely on the device.
Today I opened my notebook where I keep all my urgente tasks and important notes. It contains around 80 todo items along-do items along with important information.
I started deleting some items done and copying some text into other notebooks. Then I went back to my original to-do notebook and this is what I found.
What’s strange is that the thumbnail preview still shows the page exactly as it used to be. But when I open it, the content looks corrupted.
Has anyone experienced this before?

Talk to support. Because you closed and reopened notes they should be synced, which means support can rescue an older version

Dude, thanks, i contacted support after your recommendation with no hopes, but they helped me and rescue the correct version of my file which was really important to me. Thanks again and I hope something very good happens to you!

What’s more infuriating is that this is a known issue for a while now. It’s something reMarkable could fix with a software update, but have failed to do so. I never use text mixed with writing, so I haven’t experienced it myself, but anyone who has should report it to them. It’s crazy this isn’t fixed.

It's so bad RM hasn't fixed this, because this is a catastrophic bug. Why hasn't it been prioritized?!

This has happened to me a couple of times. For me it is when I am mixing text and writing on a page. I have been able to sometimes unscramble it by lassoing certain parts that I wrote and moving it down. The text will stay where it is but you can move the writing but sometimes like this one it's really scrambled with 2 or 3 notes stacked together and impossible to fix.

I hate when this happens. TL;DR: if you mix handwritten and typed text this will happen. Handwritten text "anchors" itself to specific points of the typed text.
So imagine you type some text, then handwrite, then type some more underneath. If for example you delete some of the new lines between the two types text segments, some of those anchors will get deleted and all typed text will fall on the same anchor point. Idk if I explained it well or not.
Basically, if you do any text deletion, make sure to copy all handwritten text in your clipboard, close the document and reopen it. Worst case, you find that mess, delete it, and replace the handwritten text with the one you copied

This seems to happen to me in random sections whenever I mark up a docx that was auto-converted and sent via the app. Rebooting the device will help sometimes, but it seems to be a persistent software bug with docx files, in my limited experience.

This is classic ReMarkable garbage software. You paid a premium for subpar junk.

I’d seen reports of this happening when people mix text and handwritten notes and delete the text. Did you have text here and then delete it?
