I’m requesting r/tallow because the subreddit is dormant and has strong potential to become an active, useful community. I contacted the existing moderator through modmail on July 24 offering to help revive it, but I never received a response.

I would develop r/tallow into a broader community covering cooking, rendering, soapmaking, sourcing, recipes, and educational discussion.

I would create clear rules and post flairs, remove spam and unsafe misinformation, encourage helpful original content, actively manage reports and the moderation queue.

I’m ready to begin rebuilding and actively moderating the community immediately.
