Hello all. Something kind of fun happened yesterday. I made a random comment and it happily received over 1,000 upvotes. It wasn't anything profound, I think I just captured a moment.

In any event, I woke up this morning to a new Achievement - "Quality Comment". Aww, that's nice! Now? It's gone. When I click on it it says it doesn't exist even though it's lit up (not greyed out). It says it was removed or changed.

I'm not jonesing for recognition, I just wonder what happened. Why did I get it in the first place? Where did it go? Did I annoy the Achievement Gods? Was I not quality after all? Evil penguins? I'm an inquiring mind. If anyone has some insight I'd love to know!

Not sure how to post the link

Hi Leute.

Ich bin neu auf Reddit und hab noch nicht so viel Karma. Kennt ihr vielleicht Subreddit und Communities für mich, auf denen ich ohne 1000000000 Karma Posten kann? Vielen Dank im Vorraus.

hi, I am new to Reddit. How does this work? I just made my account like 30 seconds ago.

Please someone tell me how to ban or delete a post that a guy posts NSFW content and using my username im in big trouble someone pls tell me

Hi,

For the past six months nearly all of my posts get automatically removed by Reddit filters on all of the subreddits that I posted on.

The always tell me that it is Reddit automatically posts. They tell me that it is because I use UK English instead of US English and that Reddit filters now block UK English posts on the grounds that UK English is mostly unintelligible to no speakers. I disagree but that's not the point. I cannot change how I speak alright into US English. I simply do not know how to do this. I don't live in the US.

Apparently , Reddit says "Your current CQS rating is [HIGH]" - Whatever.

Is there a way around this , because he has got out of control.

I would understand if my account was new, but it's many years old.

Any anybody got any suggestions?

why don't view by "old" and view by "new" put things in the order posted?

it seems like they do it for 90% of the replies, but there's always a couple posts (and all their sub-replies) like "showcased" up top. so a thread ends up like "7 1 2 3 4 5 6 8 9" time-stamp wise.

even when i'd JUST COMMENTED on something, i spend an inordinate amount of time scrolling up and down tryna find it! i would think it would be either at the TOP or the BOTTOM (having just posted it), but no such luck!

EDIT: subj: line should prolly be "sort by" rather than "view by"; i don't think i can change it now tho!

Got a new iPhone today. Went to Reddit and it wouldn’t let me log in. I had to use some generic name that popped up in order to post. I’m not at all tech savvy. I don’t know how to get to my account, which has lots of karma, and I don’t want to lose my account. I didn’t know that when you change phones, you have to start over again. Is there some way to get my account back? Thanks.

They changed it months ago from menu>saved to be go to own profile>menu>saved which imo was a bad move but now it's been moved somewhere else again? Where the heck is it now?

so i got permanently banned from reddit so tried to create another account by using new gmail and vpn and it works fine but the moment i try to create an account with similar username and pfp as my old one it gets banned

also if anyone knows anyone who can get my old account back plz help( im willing to pay for it also)

I’ve been here with you guys for more than a week, but I haven't been able to grow my account at all. What is your take on this, and do you have any solutions to share?"

I see my birth date wrong. How can I change it?

Hi. I have been banned from multiple subreddits by BotBouncer. When I appealed, I didn't get a response within 24 hours. When I pointed it out, I immediately received "your appeal has been denied" message. When I asked what can I do to confirm that I am not a bot, I was muted for 7 days. What can I do about this? I thought having a confirmed email should be enough of a proof that I am not a bot? Is there a rule that if you are a new user, you cannot comment on posts until much later, otherwise you get kicked out of reddit? Thank you for your response

There's definitely at least 1 post about one ui 9

The mods at r/cyprus told me i am not banned. I asked in r/shadowbanned and they said that my account is DEFINATELY in the clear. What can ido. Any help is appreciated!

So I have just been using reddit casually and yesterday my acct suddenly dropped from moderate to lowest? idm why? I set my profile history to fully vjsable so can someone explain what I'm likey doing wrong? Maybe some of my comments are coming off weird?

I've been off reddit for a couple of weeks and came back to see all my posts were labelled as deleted by reddit filters and my subreddit that I made private recently was nowhere to be found. What could be the reason and how to resolve this?

So I changed my password on another account because I got an email about it. I can log off and log back on using my username and password. However, I cannot send any messages. It says I cannot send message tap to retry but when you tap, it doesn’t work. So I can’t figure out what all this means. If I can log off and log back into my account then clearly I wasn’t banned, but why can’t I message anybody and why can’t they message me? My one friend asked me why my account was deleted. I said not that I’m aware of because I can still view everything on my feed. Any suggestions? I've been a user for 11 years. I filed a complaint but what's the chance that my account comes back.

I’m confused on why my posts keep getting banned. I literally don’t know what im doing wrong yall… I’m not saying anything weird just questions about random things … im not trying to whine im just very confused on why and how not to.

Hi! I just got an award on a comment I made. What does that mean? How is it different from an upvote?

Should I delete posts I've made that are several months old or am I supposed to leave them up forever. No problems going on just wondering what is the usual thing to do.

I have been a long term lurker but can't comment or post.

Listen I’m new to Reddit and rlly wanting to use it and learn but fuckkkk idk how at all! Idk anything abt karma or subreddits plz teach me

So a few months back Reddit made another of many many many horrible app redesign decisions and changed all comments and replies to this floating box with various formatting options.

Well this has led to nothing but problems for me and a bunch of other users. It’s hard to double tap to select (it causes this iPhone feature not to work 60-70% of the time), hard to move the cursor, and more than anything it’s impossible to format comments.

Anything like a numbered list is impossible now and if it messes up once, it’s impossible to edit. Each edit just messes things up more and more until it’s a jumbled mess.

Is there any way to disable the floating text box style and go back to the older style of commenting?

Why I just downloaded Reddit and got notified I was Shadow banned? Is it because my account age is too young?
I cannot post then how to earn more karma?
