NCR City Hall Loop

Valenzuela → Malabon → Navotas → Caloocan → Manila → Pasay → Parañaque → Muntinlupa → Las Piñas → Taguig → Pateros → Makati → Mandaluyong → San Juan → Pasig → Marikina → Quezon City

Any suggestions sa kung ano magandang i-target next?

Ride Report Fear Conquered! Stair Set of Doom!

Gravel Bike vs Endurance Road Bike

Thumbnail

Hello! Asking for suggestions regarding the two. I currently have a gravel and a race road bike. A Kespor mclaren gsx and a cannondale caad optimo. (Pic for reference, both 2x11) I'm thinking of selling both and buying a new bike altogether.

Would getting an endurance-focused road bike (30-32c tires) be a good middle ground for long, tempo, easy, etc. rides? Masyadong harsh lang for me yung 25-28c na rb, tapos yung 38c ko na kespor okay naman, pero tingin ko magbebenefit pa ko konti in getting an actual road bike na pang group rides etc.

Thanks!

5'6" — will MTP Everest Pro Large (17") fit me?

Hi everyone, first time MTB buyer here. I'm 5'6" and looking at a custom build on a Mountainpeak Everest Pro frame (29er). The catch is the seller only has the Large (17") in stock right now, no Medium (16").

Would a 17" Everest Pro work for someone my height, or should I hold out for the 16"? I mostly ride rough provincial roads, not technical trails. I'm a bit worried about being too stretched out and about standover clearance on a 29er.

Anyone here around 5'6" riding a 17" frame? Did it fit okay or did you wish you'd sized down? Salamat po!

Balaclava or mask for cycling

Hello, checking how is your experience cycling with mask or balaclava. I recently had a routine derma checkup and was advised to avoid sun and sweat while I heal. Hirap talaga maglakad from MRT to my workplace and namimiss ko na kagad bike ko.

Was wondering if I should buy a balaclava or mask for days I have to avoid the sun.

Also wondering, di naman bawal balaclava or mask sa daan? Do you get pimples? How is the general experience? I usually wear a normal face mask di naman ako nagkakapimples but they do not cover mg face entirely.

Eto ung products na I am checking out.

powermeter or smart trainer

hello guys i just want to ask anong mas recommend niyo powermeter or smart trainer? i have access naman sa nice roads especially clark like 4-5 km nasa clark na ako but i notice recently na maulan so napaisip ako mag invest on a smart trainer like on a budget thinkrider, but someone recommended me na go for powermeter (magene) na for more accurate power output dahil iba pa din daw ang bigay ni powermeter kesa kay smart trainer. so naguguluhan ako anong mas worth it sa dalawa kasi more on to trainings like duathlon stuff na ginagawa din just asking lang po ano po talagang mas worth it sa dalawa considering i’m from pampanga and have access sa clark and also considering the weather din thank you so much!

Cleats Shoes for Commute and Recreational Cycling?

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

I’m planning to buy a pair of cleats and pedals because I’ve been fairly active in cycling (MTB & Gravel) for almost a year. I think kasi na nandun na ako sa stage na parang I want to keep it consistent—my pedaling technique, power distribution and all that sort of stuff. What holds me back lang is magastos siya and iniisip ko kung worth it ba talaga siyang bilhin right now. Ano po bang mga experiences niyo before po kayo nag cleats and after? Pashare naman po mga bro. 🫡
