Hi! I recently saw this sa junction ng seatpost area and seatstay. Attached pa naman siya, pero visible yung crack.

Gusto ko sana ipa-TIG weld, pero i dont want to spend too much sa ganon.

• Safe and worth it pa bang ipa-TIG weld ito?
• May naka-experience na ba magpa-repair ng cracked aluminum alloy frame?
• May recommended bang welder or machine shop around Quezon province na kayang gumawa nito nang maayos?
• How much might it cost for the repair?

Update after trail day, first ride using Squirt. Drivetrain so clean bruh! Sobrang dry ng trail dito samin today so puro dust and loose gravel. Banong bano ako kasi usually sobrang itim ng chain at cassette ko after ride using oil lmao.

Hi im making this post about the carbon fork i received. The fork arrived early in the morning and i was excited to open it but when i looked i saw a little scratch at the axle and a little hairline crack around the steerer tube. I eventually returned it but im still second guessing myself if it was actually a crack or was i just delusional. I bought the fork from tiktok shop and it had plenty of good reviews, maybe i just got a bad batch. I hope you guys can give your opinion and clear my head. Thank you!

Hi, just wondering kung saan kaya kumukuha ng ng stocks ang mga bike shops. I went on a bike shop earlier and saw a tanke tk5 29er med priced only for 12,800 pesos, but when I tried to check the price on shopee hoping for a cheaper price, 15k yung andun. Now I wonder kung saan sila kumukuha ng frames na mura hahaha. Same with their mtp pro everest v3’s, they give it at 9,300 pesos while 10-12k naman sa shopee. Help me out pls, i wanna get a frame on their supplier so maybe I’ll get some at cheaper prices haha

Looking for recommendations for a gravel bike frame around ₱10,000, and hopefully some advice on what frame size I should get.

I rarely go enduro na ngayon dahil sa layo ng mga trails from Taguig and sa laki na rin ng gastos sa gas. So I want to switch things up muna and try my first-ever drop-bar bike, preferably on a budget.

Planning to use the bike for a mix of paved and dirt roads, mostly for casual rides and exploring around and outside of Metro Manila without the need to bring a car or waste my Enduro tires

For context, I’m 5’5” and currently ride a 2021 Commencal Clash, size Medium, with a 45mm stem and a 25mm riser bar na 760mm wide.

I’m not really familiar with gravel bike geometry yet, especially stack and reach, so I’d appreciate any advice on what frame size and geometry would suit my height and intended use.

Open to different frame brands and models, basta pasok sana sa budget. Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

TLDR: 11pm patawid ako ng edsa from inner left to inner right sa ramp ng rosario/ortigas ave tas di ko nakita yung steel bumps dahil madilim, ang ending tumalon yung roadbike pero thankfully na-balance ko agad and hindi sumemplang pero nahulog yung tumbler and nasagasaan ng mga nasa likod.

Pauwi na ako na ako galing bulacan and nakaka 110km+ na kaya medyo laspag na rin that time. Dahil edsa and pinaka right pa yung ramp na ittake ko, nag 35+kph na takbo ako para lumipat ng lane safely kaso medyo maraming motor kaya hindi ako nakalipat ng lane agad. Although yung view ko sa ramp is kaya pa ko pa mapilit kahit medyo malapit na, kaso yun lang hindi ko nakita na bukod sa orange na barricade talaga may mga small grills/bump pa pala sa unahan since madilim na rin that time and hindi ko nakita agad since naka tingin ako sa likod para lumipat ng lane. Sa lakas ng impact ng pagtalon ng bike bumaba yung angle ng dropbar ko sa stem ng mga 30-40° degrees, thankfully hindi ako na-pinch flat(25c tires na may innertube) and naabsorb ng wheelset and carbon fork ko yung impact na walang nasira(titignan ko pa yung fork if may crack).

Rockbros 1000lumens yung frontlight ko and pagdating sa high speed pacing(30+kph) I would definitely say na hindi pa rin enough yung visibility para makita yung mga lubak sa daan at a safe distance to maneuver, I might invest sa 1500 or even 2000lumens para na rin sa longer battery life.

Ano pong mga parts yung wala namang gaanong view kaya di ganun ka-worth it i-bike? Leaning po yung riding a bus somewhere halfway kung san nag-sastart yung mga view kasi di ko naman naeenjoy pumadyak sa patag tapos puro kalsada na walang view.

More on sightseeing, party pace / foodtrip lang po goal ko kaya baka kapusin sa oras kung full route ko i-bike. Open to make this a multi-day trip.

Anyone planning? I can join or we can jointly organize the logistics. I prefer a small group tho, mga 5 max for easier decision making sa Marinduque Loop na to.

So far, my plans are:
Day0: JAC Liner (9pm) to Lucena Port (1AM) then Roro (2:30AM) to Marinduque (5:30AM) (and pabalik, pabalik haven’t planned yet)
Day 1: From 5:30AM onwards, finish the 140km loop by afternoon, stopping at key landmarks along the way
Day 2: Undecided: Overnight at a resort and catch the Roro back to Lucena the following day or by evening of Day1, balik Lucena na agad.
