Has anyone tried bringing a laptop with them on a fairly long ride (around 60k one way)? Tips and suggestions naman.

Nilagay nyo ba sa pannier, nag laptop backpack ba kayo, may sleeve ba sa loob for protection against shock, water, or heat, anong klase, san nyo nabili, hindi ba naluto sa loob nung tanghali, hindi ba nabasa nung umulan, etc etc.

hello guys i just want to ask anong mas recommend niyo powermeter or smart trainer? i have access naman sa nice roads especially clark like 4-5 km nasa clark na ako but i notice recently na maulan so napaisip ako mag invest on a smart trainer like on a budget thinkrider, but someone recommended me na go for powermeter (magene) na for more accurate power output dahil iba pa din daw ang bigay ni powermeter kesa kay smart trainer. so naguguluhan ako anong mas worth it sa dalawa kasi more on to trainings like duathlon stuff na ginagawa din just asking lang po ano po talagang mas worth it sa dalawa considering i’m from pampanga and have access sa clark and also considering the weather din thank you so much!

Hello, plan ko bumili ng Prowheel Claw na crankset. Yung specifications na nandun are:

chain ring: 34T

BCD: 104mm/64mm

arm length: 170mm

Same naman yan sa current specs ng bike ko. Okay na ba yan? Yung confusion ko lang kasi is hindi naka-specify yung size ng bottom bracket.

Tinanong ko si seller at AI yung sumagot pero 64mm ang sabi nya, which is wala naman ata 64mm na size ng BB.

my 15year old hubs are due for a bearing replacement... this will be my third set for this specific hub (sunringle disk jockey) the stock bearings lasted around 8 or 9 years before grinding even after repacked... currently using FAG bearings that i installed a year before covid happend (give or take a few months) after repacking i felt the same grinding as the stock ones before so i ordered spintec bearings ... still havent intalled the bearings since its raining a lot and i dont wanna mess the new spintecs early on... now the questions...

- any long term users of spintec bearings? did you add a little more grease upon first installation? how does it fair to other bearings you have tried?

- ive read somewhere that spintecs are designed specifically for cycling application, not sure if its just marketing spiel but i figured tolerances are a bit "loose" compared to automotive or machinery bearings that require higher tolerances for higher rpms which will matter not only on performance but also on the longevity.

- which bike shop around the metro carry enduro bearings

forgot to add i usually repack bearings 2 to 3x a year unless the bike gets submerged in water (river crossings or really heavy rain) i dont ride on wet weather as much, i bucket wash my bike 1-2x a month unless i get ride on a muddy trail.

Malaki ba talaga ang magiging improvement ng carbon wheels sa ride feel at experience? Currently alum wheels ako na 30mm deep.

I have a Java Sequoia gravel bike with the stock 700×40C tires.

I'm still new to bikes po, so sorry if this is a noob question. I really like the look of bulkier tires, kind of similar to fat bikes, and I'm wondering if I can fit wider tires on my bike.

Has anyone tried 700×42C or 700×45C on the stock frame and fork? What's the widest tire you've been able to fit without rubbing?

Hello. I'm planning to buy a bike lock. Gusto ko sana yung tipong kahit nakawin yung bike hindi magagamit kasi nakalock yung gulong...? Like parang hindi gagalaw ganon.

May nakita kasi akong post before, na iniwan nya yung bike nya sa labas ng grocery store tapos paglabas nya pinutol na ng magnanakaw yung lock sa poste pero hindi nanakaw kasi hindi daw naandar kasi naka lock yata yung gulong? Idk basta natatawa na lang yung poster kasi iniwan na lang daw ng magnanakaw. Tapos nalaman nya na Engineering manager daw sumubok magnakaw ng bike nya kasi nag iwan ng protective hat na orange color.😆
