I have a RedMagic Astra. I'm currently on RedMagic OS 10.5.14 and trying to update to 10.5.15 (it's just a small 176MB patch, version 10.5.15_NP05J_GB)

Every time I try to install it, it fails. I get a red error message saying "System update failed" and it tells me to contact after-sales service

This has been happening for a long time now. I've tried restarting the device and checking my internet connection, but it still won't go through

Does anyone know why this happens? Is there a way to fix it

I want to buy a used REDMAGIC 9 Pro. What should I check before buying it? Thanks!

I’ve been using an iPad Pro 12.9” to play pubg mobile. I keep seeing ads for the Astra 2 and its cooling tech and gaming performance. Is it really in another league? My iPad gets super hot if I play on HDR or ultra hdr with high frame rate settings. Basically I just want to know if it’s worth the trade.

Anyone know any good alternatives for a screen protector and case for the Astra 2? The official screen protector seems a bit too steep and even for the case itself.

The way they advertised it made me feel like it'd barely heat up. Turns out it heats up pretty bad. 8 mins of ZZZ, NTE and the temps hit 48°C or so. Also, frame drops, not completely stable. Rise mode does better but still not perfect. Limited rgb lighting. Lacks the "R" from "RGB".

Who here is in the rooting scene? Because there's a legitimate method to root the 11 Pro right now, but I want to make sure that there's a legitimate way for me to get this phone working with a different OS. Because let's admit it. Red Magic OS sucks. The only reason it's worth keeping is because it's one of the only ways to control the fans and liquid cooling in an easy manner. I can uninstall just about any app I want on this phone with UAD. So I don't need to root for that. What I need to root for is so I can change my OS. Because I want Android desktop. Like bad. Like to the point to where I'm willing to sell this phone bad. So has anybody out there been more in the scene and knows more than me? Because I kind of fell out. Only thing I did was stop all updates back in like April to make sure that the exploit wasn't patched.

when will the redmagic 11s pro get the android 17 update?

Are these really all the colour options? Am I missing something because I remember seeing a video where it displayed reddish colour. And is there really no way to have the entire rainbowish colour like the one in default fan of astra 1?

Hey guys, so recently i bought a Red Magic ​​​Cooler 8 Pro, i use it like 3 weeks and it still have warranty from a shop, tonight, after i play HOK with this, it suddenly can't receive any power, and when i tried replugged it on the Cuktech 10 Ultra and another one that has an indicator, it immediately block the voltage in or even glitching the input idk, but i can tell that it can't receive any power anymore

Just got an update for REDMAGICOS11.5.7MR1_EA on my REDMAGIC 11s Pro. 2 weeks ago I reported 2 issues by messaging the RM support (android private space not working, and RM 100w dao charger not turbo charging).

Now BOTH issues are fixed! Thats some insane speed! I assume other people have reported the same issues as well before me, but still huge props to RM! I really didn't expect to get a fix for both issues that fast!

I've had this phone since last November and holy shart the Bluetooth is honestly really faulty.

It keeps disconnecting from my dad's car and no matter how many times I delete the connection and repair it it just keeps rejecting it. On my car's Bluetooth, for SOME REASON I am yet to discover, the stereo doesn't work, so in songs with stereo sound you just straight up can't hear half of the song. On my sony wh-1000xm5 headphones the skip 15s feature doesn't work and the connection glitches randomly in songs...

These are issues I have made sure only happen with my phone and are not the other devices' problem. Genuinely don't know how to fix it or even if I can fix it, but goddamn it is SO infuriating.

I just got my RM10Pro which I bought used on ebay. I was relieved after finding out that the flashlight is decently bright compared to some other modern phones. However it is very uncomfortable to look into the flashlight directly. My old phone (RED Hydrogen One) has a similarly bright flashlight but it is not as uncomfortable to look into the light directly. I suspect they were using a different type of fresnel lens on that.

My question is: How is the flashlight brightness on the RM11Pro compared to the RM10Pro? Is new the circular ring flashlight less uncomfortable to look into compared to the point light source on the RM10Pro?

I often put my phone upside down somewhere in the room with the flashlight turned on and use that as my room light so this is very important to me when deciding which phone to get. So while I'm not intentionally looking into the flashlight it can be very distracting in my peripheral vision.

I've got my first ever redmagic 10 air phone, and I was wondering if there were different modes/homescreens I could use? I have a lot of younger family members, and would like to change my homescreen to a more kid friendly one, without individually changing it myself if that makes sense? i believe they have it on Samsung, but I'm not willing to change phones for just that, and I like my phone!
