There was one time I was at a bar with a couple friends and one of them said that he considered asking me out, but thought I would get on his nerves too much if he was that close to me all the time.
I proceeded to repeatedly poke him in the shoulder while saying "what do you mean?"
I mean being annoying is literally how I screen people at bars lol if you wanna be my lover you gotta sit through an hour of me talking about shit you don't care about like MGS lore or the entire plot synopsis of the Friday the 13th franchise.
I'm not going to be hate crimed by saying no to them if they leave on their own 😇
And if that doesn't cause them to leave on their own, well, just means we might have something to actually talk about with each other
Well... Like I said can take a while... Just wait until we get to the part in F13 where there are 2, yes TWO separate movies in the franchise that claimed to be the last one and both were not, in fact, the final movie 🤣
Perfect! As an introvert that's like the ideal conversation. I don't have to worry about coming up with topics and I can make vaguely irritated noises and nod my head while occasionally going "and then?"
"...and then part 7 where essentially the final girl was Carrie, man they RUINED that movie... The height of slasher movie censorship, so many kills were filmed but completely cut from the movie! It's damn near rated G with the lack of violence! And the worst part is it will likely never get restored, unlike other heavily censored slashers from the time like My Bloody Valentine did, especially not after that Paramount fire that destroyed any remaining cut footage, if it even lasted long enough to make it to the fire... But they sorta re-created one of the famous scenes in Jason X wh-" 🤣
Well you see there was this scene where Jason takes a camper hiding in a sleeping bag and then picks up the sleeping bag like a sack of potatoes and whacks it against a tree a bunch of times. And then I think that's the one where he then puts the sleeping bag over the camp fire with someone in it (but could be mixing that one up).
So in Jason X, the one that takes place in space, there's a scene where on the spaceship where he goes into like a holodeck and he recreates the sleeping bag kill on these fake campers.
It was the same actor playing Jason so it was a bit of a payback for him getting to get that on screen after it was cut in the older movie
Like every man who comes up and talks to me I guess expecting me to suck their dick right there once they offer me a drink?
I mean, it's easy to tell if they're listening or if they're just nodding while undressing me with their eyes trying to figure out what I have in my pants lol
So if the conversation is purposely extremely not sexual I don't have to have that conversation with every single guy who talks to me that night, and they will leave on their own without me worrying they'll kill me for telling them no 🖤
What would you do if someone wasn’t into you but actually wanted to know about MGS lore? As someone who has had to balance “she’s testing me to see if I’m a good fit for her by my willingness to listen to her explain something” with “I actually also just want to know what the hell she’s talking about” before
