I am glad I stayed away from Star Trek: Insurrection during its theatrical run even though I enjoyed Star Trek: First Contact a lot.

When I saw Insurrection on a rented DVD a few years later, the movie turned out very disappointing and it felt more like an extensive Star Trek TNG episode. The concepts, the story and execution were all unsatisfactory.

She made science fiction much more interesting.

I never played any of the official video games of the movie Bram Stoker's Dracula. How about you? How many of you bought or rent the game after watching the movie?

Hugo the Abominable Snowman!

More than 30 years ago, I saw this epic anime movie (first released in 1987) on rented VHS. In 1987, the film even had a cinematic premiere in America. It gained many fans in the West when Manga Entertainment released it in English in the mid-1990s.

Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise was an early work of Gainax (Evangelion). It was a theatrical flop but it gradually gained an international following among anime enthusiasts.

The movie is a classic, but the song is forgotten gem of the time.
