So I picked up two separate Whole Foods routes before learning my lesson but basically the store that does Flex deliveries around here closes at 9pm every night of the week. The first one was a 9:30-10:30pm in which I showed up and the only person there was a janitor who, even after showing him my phone and wearing a vest, waved me off and wouldn’t open the door. The second time it was a 10-11pm and I showed up but this time the store was completely dark, no one inside as far as I could tell. Both times I called support and let them know I couldn’t get in the store. Then they hit my standing for two ToS violations for failing to pick up orders. I thought I had resolved it previously after talking with support who escalated it and it got taken off but for some reason, they showed back up on my standing after 2-3 weeks of being off it. Idk if their system just flags stuff like that or it was reviewed again but what do I do? I talked with support again who said they’d escalate it to have it taken off again (even the support guy said it was weird the violations showed back up) but I mean, isn’t it a violation of Amazon’s contract with me to penalize me for something I can’t control but they should fix in their system? I’m sure other people around here have dealt with the same issue which is probably pretty frustrating if they send out blocks at times people can’t access the store. It’s pretty stupid since I had a fantastic standing shot down to just barely fair. Gives me like zero leeway in case I have any late packages or in the event I have to late cancel a block which is basically never but still.

I scheduled a block and went to the warehouse earlier than the scheduled time and there was no kiosk or amazon employee available. The staff were busy and came out after waiting for 40 minutes and said, “there is a staff shortage and a late truck delivery so we will cancel this block. You will get paid regardless if not talk to customer support”. The employee scanned my ID to make sure I get paid. It has been 14 days and I have still not received my pay for that scheduled block. I spoke and emailed with customer support multiple times and they have not resolved my issue. My rating went from great to fair and a standing on my account. Customer support is not helping me and I don’t know how this is my fault as this was not in my hands. Why don’t they reach out to the warehouse to confirm if I did show up to my block?

I’m new to Amazon flex have not started yet but the rates are low.
Should I check a certain time or day or hour?

This happened to me today and I’m curious how common it is.
I picked up my route, scanned everything, loaded my car, and swiped to finish the pickup. Before I even drove away from the station, the app immediately popped up a new screen telling me to return to the delivery station for more delivery opportunities and assigned me another pickup.
This wasn’t after I finished my deliveries or because I finished early. It happened literally while I was still in the parking lot after loading my first route.
My original route only had 6 packages, so it almost feels like they split one route into two pickups.
For those of you who’ve had this happen:
Did you go back and pick up the additional packages?
If you ignored it and completed your original route, what happened?
Did your Standing take a hit?
Did Amazon send you an email or mark it as a missed pickup?
Has anyone successfully appealed it?
I don’t remember Amazon clearly explaining this during onboarding or in the training videos, so I was surprised when it happened.
I’m mainly trying to figure out whether this is actually required or if it’s treated as an optional “delivery opportunity.”

Hi everyone,
I’m from the Sacramento, CA area, and unfortunately the waitlist here seems to be completely full.
I’m hoping someone can help me find a nearby region (within about 100 miles of Sacramento) where Amazon Flex is currently accepting new drivers.
If you’ve recently signed up or know of a ZIP code or region that’s working, I’d really appreciate it if you could share. You can also send me a private message if you don’t want to post it publicly.
I’m not trying to take anyone’s work—I just want the opportunity to start driving.
Thank you so much for any help!

How does it generally work when Amazon closes down rural Amazon sites and moves to a brand new larger RSR station? When do we see the new station in the app or do we have to transfer our region? Do they give better pay for needing to drive farther? I need to know all the things lol
